Yippeee!! Q107 is about ready to begin transmitting its low power signal again. If you read this blog, you probably remember that last August our transmitter was knocked out by lightning. Well, we should have it back within the next week, or so. Then, we should be back on the air with your favorite 80s music.

Friends, in case you haven't noticed, Q107 no longer has its FM signal. This is due to a severe lightning storm we had in the area last week. The Q107 tower experienced a static bolt which made its way to the transmitter and knocked out the final output. Therefore, due to monetary constraints we will not be able to get this repaired for a few weeks at best. You can still listen to our internet stream at Q107online.com. Thanks for your support.

Unfortunately we just learned that the hosts of 80s Meltdown (Ray, Adrian) have decided to discontinue 80s Meltdown. 80s Meltdown was the internationally syndicated show that we were broadcasting on Q107 weekly. It will be replaced by Ray's show called 'Back To The 80s'. We're not sure if Q107 will pick it up though. Keep monitoring our blogs to find out.

Yes, the Q107 website at www.q107online.com is down again. Over the past month or so we have been having problems with it because of our domain and hosting provider which is 1and1. Either we'll get this resolved soon, or we will move to a new provider. So, if you really want to listen to our live audio, just point your favorite music player (preferably Winamp) to http://q107.dynalias.net:8090/listen.pls.  We hope to have our main website back up and running shortly.

Hopefully you were able to listen to the 80s Meltdown Live Summer Bash yesterday at 2:00pm central time. If you didn't, you missed a great show. Ray Gauthier and Adrian Scott hosted a countdown of the 30 best summer songs of the 80s. After the countdown, they aired live requests on their internationally syndicated show. If you wanted to listen, but weren't able to catch the show live, you can catch it tonight. It will be rebroadcast on Q107 tonight beginning at 6:00pm (not live, of course).
