DEAR READERZ,Some of you may have takin' a gander at the little book to the left side of our home page and flipped through it to find an abbr. of our band name called "The Double Unit." Our friend Luke tried to tell us that he thought it was some mathematical symbol or sumphin'. We blew him off thinking it was too good to be true, but to our dismay, he was right. The symbol on the right is called the "ordinary ray." And why yes, we found the key to the city. Thanks Dad!

I was the one wearing the flip-flops taking the picture of the album
that was released today when you caught my camera's eye. You purred and
later we snuggled on the beach and gazed at the floating trampoline.
Together we wished your mom would have de-clawed you... And then our somber thought was interrupted as Team Teen Jet-Ski flew by all-nude and
boasting of summer's spirit! We laughed at their unflinching youth and and as our heads slowly turned I hoped our eyes would lock, but you were
distracted by a radio tower in the distance thinking it was the
"creator" of red dots which danced upon the walls. You ran towards it
without looking back. When I went inside the album was gone, but I
still had the picture. Would love to 'Cat'ch up. Call me! (402) 888-8999

Good News. Tomorrow at around 7 pm our Full Length LP will be delivered to Lincolntown, USA. It will be coming with a burnt cd of the album inside the record packaging as well as a vinyl. It are a good deal. The tracklisting is:
UUVVWWZ
Side One 1. Berry Can 2. Shark Suit 3. Jap Dad 4. Neo Lano
Side Two 1. Castle 2. Green Starred Sleeve 3. Trapezeus 4. Sun 5. Hum Jam
Andy Koeneke and J.J. Idt co-engineered and mixed the record. Doug Van Sloan Mastered it well. And It Are Good (Universal Incorporated Mega Big Time) Record Label is putting it out. They have a Myspace that is updated every minute by throngs of dilligent high-paid workers. So check it out. Oh yeah, Micah Schmeideskamp did the artwork and Jamie wrote a letter to us.
You will be able to purchase these at Spindle Records and Hopefully the Antiquarium starting this Friday. Probably around 12 dollars. I don't know.
It is also on this day that we will be playing the first show of our east coast "get in the van!" tour in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It's going to be a month long and dates will be on the myspace.
Whew!
Okay, so then we're getting back from tour in July and will be playing our official Vinyl release show at the Box Awesome on July 11th with The show is the Rainbow and Broken Spindles. There might be another band, too. It's up in the air.
Did I mention we are doing the whole Tour with Darren Keen from the bands Darren Keen and Gloves. Well we are. He also plays in this other band called The Show is the Rainbow that is really swell.
Ok, that's it. I hope I didn't leave anything out. We're really excited to travel and see friends and play shows. Take care.
Jim
