Hello Everyone!
Where for art thou (me) been? Well, it's a long story and it's pretty boring so I'll skip it... But no fo reals, I got into a huge car crash a few months ago and I've been recovering. My car looked like an aluminum can of root beer that had been forced to hit a car at a high speed because the car decided to make an illegal turn right in front of it! Only no root beer was injured in the real accident, thank goodness. I, unfortunately, was injured and I couldn't walk for a long time, but I'm better now.
So up a new song finally goes, where it lands nobody knows? The new song is titled, "I'm Almost There". The vocals and mixing were done at a bona-fide studio with the help from an engineer who goes by the name David Chutka. Let me know what you think of it by leaving me your loverly comments!
Much love always,
-Rachel

Hey Everyone! Long time no talkie. I just put a new song up called "Here Comes the Night". It's my favorite song that I've made. Let me know what you think! I'm also working on a couple other songs that are going to be as sparkling as Christmas tinsel. I'll put those up as soon as they are baked, but be careful not to burn your ears because they are going to be hot or Haught. Also, tour anyone, tour? I am working on preparing a tour, but it's in the gathering ingredients process. I think I've procured a special ingredient to a most spectacular live show, which is a clone of me. Well she's not a perfect clone, a hybrid of sorts, but an entertaining extravaganza! She's my coz and together we're explosive. I'm thinking the destruction will take place early summer. I'll keep you posted. I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday! Enjoy the new song!
Much love. <3

Hey Everyone,
Happy Halloween! I've put a photo up of my darling kitty in a witches hat (I made the hat!). I wanted to put up a cool photo of myself, but the photographer hasn't given me the photo yet. I'll put that one up as soon as I get it.
I'm getting ready to go to a costume party. I'm dressed up as a doll, I'll put a picture up of my costume soon. I'm walking to the party in the pitch dark, there seems to be no moon out tonight, spooky. I hope I don't run into Ichabod Crane while he's being chased by the Headless Horseman, though it would be quite an adventure.
Once my friend and I found a dead body. We were driving back, late, through the wheat fields in Kansas, when at a corner I noticed a telephone line down across the road. I slammed on the brakes and my headlights shined on the reason for the line being down, a little red truck, mangled and smoking, had slammed into the pole. I got out of the car quick and in the dark harvested wheat field I saw a body. I ran towards the body and found a young man lying in the dirt. His skin was almost blue it was so pale. His legs and arms were in contorted positions. I knew the instant I got a couple feet away from him that he was dead. I could sense no life, if that's even possible, from him. Very strange for someone to be alive and then to suddenly be dead... The cops were called and things were taken care of and my friend and I drove home. The corner is now called "dead man's corner". That's my scary story for the night. I hope everyone has a great night and doesn't find a dead body!
Much love, -Rachel

Hello Everyone!
My new song "I Drift a Little" is finally up! It was "processing" for a long time. Usually when you upload a song it "processes" for a couple minutes and then it's up. This time it took about five days. Maybe it drifted in the process and it had to be hunted down. Or maybe a scary man in a mask starting running after it with a knife and it had no choice but to get off the "processing" path to save it's life. Who knows what my song has been through in the last few days, oh the horrors... I think I might be watching too many scary movies, but I have to for Halloween. Anyways, my song is alive and up. I hope you all enjoy!
Much Love, Rachel

Hello everyone!
I've heard some of you have been wondering how to get my CD. You can get the CD from me! I'll personally have my assistant, Mrs. Poofers (my kitty) send it on out to you. It's $2 for shipping & handling and $8 for my songs, that's a total of $10. Just message me with the subject "CD" and we can exchange addresses. It would make me extremely happy to have your support!
Also, last night was a bit strange. I was driving home with my friend when I noticed a cop behind me. I wondered if I weaved in my lane, but didn't cross the middle line or speed, would he pull me over? Since technically that's not illegal, I started to slowly weave in my lane. After a few miles he did indeed turn his lights on and pull me over. He asked me the standard cop question, "Do you know why I pulled you over?". I said, "I think it's because I was weaving". He agreed with that and then I explained how I just wanted to see if he would pull me over if I weaved in my lane, but not cross the middle line. At that he stared a me for awhile and then motioned for me to leave and said, "Don't do it again." So ha ha, I didn't get a ticket. Message me if you want my CD. Much Love
-Rachel

Hey Everyone!
I've just put a new song up called "Not Yet". I wanted to make something that sounded a bit rougher and darker around the edges, but still fun and sweet. Like running scared into a grocer shop in Transylvania because every vampire in town "Vants to drink your blood", and discovering down aisle three, that they have a box of the discontinued cereal S'mores Grahams. You might not live, but at least you got a box of one of the best cereals ever made! Why, oh, why did they discontinue it... Anyways, hope you enjoy "Not Yet" and there's more to come!
Much Love Rachel

Current mood: chill
Hello everyone! I'm back! I'm finally moved and am situated in my new place in Kansas. I had a few moments of banging my head against a wall with my computer being damaged. During the move my computer breathed what I thought was it's last breath, and I thought I might have to bury it in the back yard like a loving pet that had passed, but lo and behold late in the night, after tinkering with it, like Dr. Frankenstein I could announce "It's alive... IT'S ALIVE!"
Now that things are back in order and brought back from the dead, the fun can begin. I have some new photos that I will be putting up soon and have been writing some new songs, which should surface up on here in a couple of weeks. I also have a few more surprises up my sleeve, and it's a huge puffy sleeve. I, of course, will keep you all updated with what I pull out of my puffy sleeve ;). I bid you all farewell for now.

Hello everybody. Sorry I've been offline the last few days (weeks) but I'm in the process of moving from Brooklyn to Lawrence, Kansas. All I've been doing is pack, pack, pack, pack, pack -- don't talk back.
I'll be back soon.

Current mood: chipper
Hello everyone! Over the past few weeks, I've been working on a new song for the MySpace "Henry Poole is Here Theme Song Contest" contest. I just uploaded it and I'm pretty pleased. "I tink itz de bestest song I've made sooo far." That's my quote, and you can quote me.
It's been a strange few weeks: During which I got really sick for a week and couldn't sing, which pissed me off. During which I was listening to a lot of Lion King songs. During which my computer broke and I had to buy a new hard drive, which almost broke me. During which my umbrella flipped upside down during a storm in front of a group of handsome sailors.
Anyway, among the many thrills of the contest: a music video with the director of the movie, a trip to glittery LA, and a Lamborghini signed by Bobby Lamborghini himself. He makes the best Indian food and I can't wait to clutch it, wheel it about, and for my stomach to signal that it's full. Enough, I say! Puns no funs.
Besides the requirements of the contest, I hope you'll agree it's a good song in its own right.
If I make the top selection, I will need everyone to vote for me, okay?
ttfn Rachel
