well the stupidity of the leadership of our country never ceases to fail me. the president just spoke for 15 mins and it made me so upset i started to cry. he spoke about the need to stay in iraq and admitted to mistakes he made. so in another three years will he be apologizing for getting involved in the war all together. everything is always clearer in retrospect. it just sucks for those of us that are intelligent enough to know what the truth is when its actually happening. i guess its good that he felt there was enough discord throughout the country with his decision making, that he needed to give a speech to "revive" our belief in him. this is what we call history repeating itself folks. does this sound familiar-a president lying to the country, starting a war under false pretenses, fighting to convert a country into democracy. hmmm vietnam anyone? how many more of our troops have to give up their lives for this? so stand up for a cause. bring our troops home.

soo today is my day off and surprisingly im bored. so i decided to google myself for fun. apparently i am also a cross country runner from loras college in dubuque, iowa. theres also a porn star name kitty somthing or other who real name is jessica urgo. then i found my sisters name from some excerpt about volleyball. so, i conclude that to be found on google, you either have to be really good at sports or porn.

well, as most of you know my best friend jen and i are obsessed with teen movies. the other day we were watching a really sweet and romantic movie (whose name will not be shared b/c you'll laugh and miss the point of my blog). it, like all romantic teen movies, ended "happily ever after" with the main character ('prince charming') skillfully wooing the beautiful girl. On my drive home, feeling particularly alone and unloved, i realized that romantic movies are the reason why romantism doesn't exist anymore. think about it for a minute. we girls watch these sweet movies and think that this is the way real guys are. and real guys watch (in some cases) these movies and see thats what you do to get in the girls pants. so we girls hear the sweet talking lines the guys repeat from the movies and become totally enamored with them, eventually give them what want and we are left to cry alone on the coach with our best friends Ben and Jerry when they get bored and move one. from then on out anytime a guy is sweet to that girl she is automatically doubtful of his intentions. so, i propose the banning of romantic movies, however entertaining they can be. i also propose that guys stop using cheesy lines from movies and stop trying to impress girls by being sweet and romantic and just be themselves, thats romantic enough.

we are the ultimate coffee companions. we waste our lives away sipping lattes smoking ciggarettes and watching people go by. we laugh at everything silly, we make englewood look prettier with stickers, we sing random parts of random songs, we quote teen movies like we're still teenagers. i school jen in the art of the belch and she schools me in everything else. we listen to crazy men talk about karma, hide our ciggarettes from homeless guys with garbage bagsand speak british with loyd. she is my best friend. i love jen trovato.
