Welcome to Day 5 of our daily Get Loaded In The Park 08 blog, in association with Lock N Load Events.

Today we bring you an interview with Plump DJS.

This summer you'll be headlining the Finger Lickin Records 10th Anniversary stage at Get Loaded in the Park. How does that feel...

Amazing, great to be playing a big slot at such a major festival. With Finger Lickin' Records in tha place and Krafty up to his usual antics in the same arena, the party is sure to blow.

10 years is a long time for any record label, especially an independent such as Finger Lickin. What's been the key to their success?

When we all first started working together we connected on many levels and formed strong bonds with each other...Strong enough to see us through the many challenges that we were to face on the 10 year journey to 2008. I think that we generally have been going in the same direction and that combined with our understandings of each others talents have kept us together.

On the day you'll be joined by label mates Krafty Kuts, A Skillz, Soul of Man, Utah Saints and Drumattic Twins. If you lot were to become honorary Gladiators for the day (as in the TV show!), what would be everyone's nickname be and why?

We would be known as 'The Misfits' cos we are all a bit weird

What's the best tune on Finger Lickin... like, EVER?!

THRUST 1 by Lee Coombes - it epitomises the Finger Lickin' sound. Although many FL artists have deviated from the path (including us) I think that the vibe of this track hits Justin and Jem's A and R nails on the head!

You're back with album numero 3 – 'HEADTHRASH'... what's the vibe? Please talk us through the album.

For nearly 2 and a half years now we have been constructing 'HEADTHRASH'. In our eyes an exciting and varied body of music, a proper album. The album format allowing us to present tracks the likes of which you may never have heard from us before. I don't want to give too much away...we are really happy with the results.

You probably get asked this a lot, but please describe the different buzz you get from DJing and producing?

The 2 go hand in hand....the anticipation and flow in the studio, and the rewards and excitement when you play the record out. We are very lucky fellas!

Do you make records to play out (later that night?!)

Generally we are known for making dance music though we have pushed the boundaries with the new album.

Have you got any plans to tour as a 'live' outfit with the new album?

We will be changing our DJ set up this year, when we play festivals and stage gigs. We are planning to DJ on 4 decks...both of us mixing at the same time. This will give us the opportunity to be more creative and push the capabilities of the Pioneer CDJs to the max.

You've played Get Loaded in the Park's sister festival South West Four in recent years. How do you rate Clapham Common as a venue?

We had a magic set at the SW4 festival in the sun last year. Sharing the same stage with some of the biggest DJs in the world was a privilege. Great crowd, great production, great weather and Nando's chicken backstage...It don't get much better than that.

Was it a fun gig?

See above...Pete tong enjoyed it and said we were very noisy.

How different will you approach this gig knowing that at SW4 you played on the main stage and for Get Loaded in the Park you'll be rocking out in an intimate 2000 capacity tent with the Finger Lickin massive?!

We will be less nervous and more confident

Any summer festival tips?

Take suncream cos it's gonna be a scorcher

Any drinking tips?

stick to one poison

Any 'don't do this' tips?

Do not accidentally eat vast amounts of superskunk flapjack after not sleeping for 3 days.

Best festival moment?

Realising that I was not actually dead, after the above happened to me at the last Glastonbury festival

Worst festival moment?

Thinking that I was dead at the last Glastonbury festival

And lastly.... what's your ultimate festival track?

Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea

Day 4 of our daily Get Loaded In The Park blog, on behalf of Lock N Load Events. Today we bring you an interview with Supergrass, who are playing on the Get Loaded Main Stage. See who they will be playing with during the rest of the festival here.

We caught up with Supergrass fresh from their two sell out shows at Astoria to have a quick chat their album, sideburns and FIFA footy....

Big up on the new album BTW. Danny & Gaz performed under the album's name 'Diamond Hoo Ha' prior to the album's release as characters 'Duke Diamond' and 'Randy Hoo Ha'. What the flippin' eck was all that about?!
It was very kind of Duke and Randy to come over from Berlin and help us promote the new songs for us while Mick was laid up in hospital. Seriously though, it was a great way to keep things going while we were a man down in the squad.

Who would win in a tag team wrestling match – Danny & Gaz or Duke & Randy?
Good question - definitely Duke and Randy - they've got way more spunk.

How's Mick's injury holding up?
Very well. He' been out on the last tour and making progress everyday.

Can we expect a return to the heavy facial growth this summer?
Depends how cold it is – we might have a change and all grow loads of chest hair for a fresh new look.

Which other bands are you digging at the moment?
MGMT, midlake, the new white stripes record is still going down well.

How does your current tour bus compare to your very first tour bus?!
Its' got seats...and an engine...and an inside toilet.

What's on your rider?
Mick has loads of weird parnisp crisps on there - we seem to get through 2 crates of red bull a night - not sure where they end up– oh, and loads of fags – all the major food groups are represented.

If you laid Supergrass out end to end would they be longer than a bus?
What size bus? We're definitely longer than a minibus – and since Mick has his accident he is one inch taller than he used to be, so there's a bonus. And we've got Charly in the band on this album so I reckon we make equal a double decker.

I once accosted Iggy Pop by holding onto his leg while he was trying to sing, have you ever been molested at a gig?
I once had a guy run on and give me a massive hug during a solo, which was kinda strange, although I got a couple of the crew to take him outside and beat him. So it all worked out ok!

What are Gaz's tips for lustrous side-burns?
They have a mind of their own. They look after themselves. I once shaved them off a couple of years ago and found that I lost all my balance and mojo, so I'm never going there again!

Do you still play as Man United on Fifa 1997 Playstation game?
Since my daughter was born I've been more consumed with games for under 5's, so I've got really good at Operation. But as for Manu, I am still a passionate follower.

I saw an internet video of Gaz cooking Cajun tuna, has he got any more recipes?
I'm a bit of a baking freak really and love baking cakes and cookies, so look out for 'Cooking with Gaz' (the TV series !?) could be huge !!
