A'ight, then, look: I just had a birthday (09.10.06), though I must confess that I was pitying myself because of crazy ish going on in my life-family emergencies, hollow pockets, fear, et cetera. Ascending out of my state of misery were little taps on my shoulder followed by faint, yet stern instructions to "quit trippin' and just wait". Fine. I eventually tucked my bottom lip back in it's natural position and got busy.

Seven days later, I received confirmation from a comrad in the Industry confirming that I was officially on the bill to open for Sadat X & Lord Jamar (members of BRAND NUBIAN) on 09.29.06. Those who have been blessed by these living legends can imagine how I received the news. Infinite propers to my folks for supporting, pushing and critiquing me so that I can manage challenges and embrace opportunities. I can only interpret this upcoming show as a manifestation of substantial things to come.
