Finally added the show to our upcoming show list, should have done that a while ago, thanks for the reminder Louie.

Anyway, if you have the chance come see us play at the 5th Annual Chief Mountain Summer Blast.  Definitely going to be interesting, as either the bass or drum track is going to be recorded and then played over the speakers, or something like that.  That does mean new track-by-tracks!

In regards to that, we may soon be holding auditions for a drummer, we'll let you know more when that comes to fruition.

Anyway, that's it for now, hope to see you this weekend in Babb for a rockin' time!

Hey guys, we know it's been a while, but I can assure you, when we come back, it will be harder and blow all of your minds.

First off, we are in the process of figuring out exactly where the band is going, in terms of instrumentation and the sound.  Lou has progressed to an awesome level of drumming, and there is talk of adding keyboards in as well.

We are definitely going to try and get some shows rolling in the future, but first we are gathering recording equipment.  If all goes well, we will record some better produced and sounding songs for you all, with Lou pulling double duty on both the drums and the bass.  Once that is done we will try to get some shows organized, and Lou will play either bass or drums live, whatever one he is feeling like that show.

Lastly, a while ago(about a month or two back) Myspace upped their song uploads from 6 to 10, so we have four slots up for grabs.  Give us some feedback, whether it's a comment on this blog or a message or whatever.

Later all!

Hey whats up everybody? Just want you all to know that we are working very hard on new shit, playing hard on our equipment, and we didn't fall off the ass of the earth. I know its been a while since you have heard anything from us, but we are currently looking for a new drummer, in case you didn't figure it out, as I am filling in on the drumming duties for now.  All of us have been pretty busy in our daily lives but we did not forget about you! There is a new horizon for the band, hope to see you there!!! Until than, deuce!!!!

To the fans and the Members of Nothing Survives,

It has been an interesting and very long tiring, frustrating, exhausting, sad, happy, and insane trip. I leave Nothing Survives with nothing more than the utmost repect and have absolutly nothing negitive to say about the Band and its...OUR fans. Almost every venue and show was a great oppertunity to learn and grow. I enjoyed the ten plus years that i had with N.S. I leave although with a heavy heart, i also have the pleasure of calling Vaylon, Louis, and Edward my brothers. i love you three very much and i hope to see you become that of which you dream for.

In the beginning we all had very high expectations and goals. I have some how lost sight of that. i became arrogant and cocky. I believed that i was a STAR and little did i know that i was basically full of SHIT. LOL!!! I have talent and skill but like most have said," I stopped practicing." That of which is mostly true. I slowed my practicing more or less in fear. Fear that id turn in to a prick. Well who knew that it would happen like that? I neglected my family and my band on more than one occasion, leaving as Vaylon said," The rest of the band to handle, load, and un-load MY belongins." I was an ass, but i am only human.

Well ladies and gentelman this is it for me i guess. I wouls like to more or less give it another shot whit N.S. but only as a person trying to accomplish the same goal as a BAND and not an individual who is seeking fame and fortune. the journey that i am on right now is the one that i will have to learn to live with and figure myself out on. I will continue to practice not only for me but for my BROTHERS and FORMER BAND MATES. They pushed me to be the best and i WILL NOT DESAPOINT THEM AGAIN!!!

I will miss them and i will grow to be a better person. THANKS EMERALD GRANT III

For those of you wondering about the status of the show on Saturday, don't fret, as we are definitely playing. Even though we weren't able to get Stommer on drums, Shawn from Walking Corpse has graciously agreed to sit in on our set for us. It is going to be great rocking out in Missoula again.

As you may have noticed or not noticed, I put the track listings for 2 new CDs that are available!

The first CD is "Live! at SPMC", and includes all live recordings from our performance at the SPMC Music Festival. The only bad thing about it is that you aren't able to hear the bass as loudly as you have before. Still, it's our best live recordings to date. This CD is running at $3.00 a pop.

The second CD is "Demo 09", and includes the live tracks from SPMC, along with newly mixed and mastered tracks from our previous demo. Also included is Torn from the Grave. This will be our last demo out until we are able to get into the studio and record an EP. This CD is running at $5.00 a pop.

To get these CDs I suggest talking to Lou if you're in Browning, as I'm in Missoula. You can always get them if you come to one of our shows as well.

That's it for this update, keep the metal flowing!

Edit: I also re-uploaded Circled, the one off of our new demo. I also uploaded Torn from the Grave from our new demo, and Body Stew from SPMC. Enjoy!

Another year has passed, and what a year it's been.

It all started with the first of our track-by-track recordings, Stab City 338. This lead to other songs being recorded track-by-track, and many attempts to record others. Because of this, we were able to release a partial demo with not only track-by-tracks, but also live recordings from the Skatepark shows.

Speaking of which, Nothing Survives played a LOT of shows, at least compared to how many they have in previous years. In total 12 shows were played in various cities: Shelby, Browning, Missoula, Clinton, and Babb. Two shows were of importance, that being the large independent music festival at SPMC, and the Project Independent tour.

All in all, 2008 was a great year for the band.

As for 2009? Another demo is planned to be released, this time including the live tracks from the SPMC show. T-Shirts will hopefully be ordered and be available.

Here are some personal goals of mine that I want to accomplish with this band:
-Play in either Montana Metal Fest or Total Fest or some type of large "festival"
-Record another demo, this time at Habbilis Records.
-Play a show outside of Montana
-A mini-tour around Montana

Thank you all for supporting us throughout the years, and we look forward to what will happen in 2009.

So, Nothing Survives reunited after 2 and a half months for a night of awesome fucking bands and a surprisingly very well performance for scraping the rust off just the very same day. Thank the other bands that had to travel to make it. TSMF, Walking Corpse, Hardigans, you guys are fucking awesome, thanks for making a shitty December night into a earblowing night. Thanks to all the other bands, Trevor, right on man, that was a good one. I look forward to coming up with new shit. Can't pimp out the same stuff all the time! It felt so good to be back on stage, back where we can say fuck it all and put ourselves into it. It was an awesome night, a night of rejuvination for me. I can't wait until later shows, more practice, and more song writing, its been way too long for the band, for you guys too! So kick us in the ass every once in a while and tell us what you think. Well anyways, this is Louface signing off. Stay metal, or die.

Nothing Survives, along with GODDAMMITBOYHOWDY and The Romantic Letdown made the Missoula Independent cover story.  If you're interested in reading the article, either pick up a copy if you're around in Missoula, or click the link at the bottom.  Thanks go out to Erika and Chad, to our fellow bands that were in the paper, and those who were not, and especially to all of you fans out there.  We wouldn't be here without you.

We're not sure how many of you know what a kirriban is, but it's basically a milestone.  We're coming up on a big one, as we are close to ten thousand page views!

So here's what we're going to do.  Whoever can prove that they were the 10,000th visitor will receive a Nothing Survives t-shirt and a demo for free!  All you have to do is press your CTL button and your PRT SCR button, and then press CTL and the V key in any picture program and it will show you something like this.

Make sure you scroll down to where you can see page views.  You may also take a picture with your camera, as long as I can make it out what number you have.

I'm also asking that if you are anywhere from 9,990 to 10,010; please take a picture anyway, as some random person who doesn't read our stuff may get the milestone.  So please take a picture even if you are 9,998; 9,991; or 10,004; as you may be the person closest.  If we have two people who are the same distance from 10,000; then we will give both people the prize.

Best of luck!
