Come August, 2004, our trombone player, Dave Caryl, is leaving after almost 6 years of loyal service with Straighter Than Pete. He will be attending Orthodontist School this fall and will no longer have time to reherse and gig with us. If anyone is interested, we are looking to have a trombone player in the Central New York area come practice with us and possibly play a few shows. We've been moderately inactive over the last few months in preparation to record the rest of the second album. Some of us are headed back to the studio later this week. We decided to scrap the 6 songs we've already recorded for this album because there's a new set up with new equipment in a new building. A fresh start will do us good. We can do it better.
