What up to all the fam that's sitting out there tonight browsing the interwebs for porn, You Tube videos, conspiracy theories, and hopefully my MySpace page. I said I would do it and here I am. Time to kick a little update on my stay here in tha big D and the goings on of the making of South of Hell. That is allot of of's. Well anyways, first off. As I sit here at the sprawling Violent J manor, on his plush and luxurious imitation dolphin fur couch, looking up at the giant picture of said Mr. J in a leopard skin smoking jacket and corn cob pipe. I am reminded of many things. One of witch is to make this post about whats happening with me on these cold Detroit days and nights.
Well my stay up here has been as it always is when I am here. Nothing but the most amazing thing that could ever happen to a person. But not just any person, no.. A Juggalo person named Boon fuckin dox. I have been at the Hatchet for almost four years now but everyday it amazes me that I am a part of the sickest, dopest, freshest record label and family that anyone could be a part of. I will never take this shit for granted, and they will have to drag my freshly departed corpse away from all of this to get rid of me. Enough about that though. Its now time to move on to the update.
Well I have been hitting the studio on a daily basis and writing my ass off with time that I am not behind the mic and laying this shit down. Me and Mike E. Clark have been creating some of the most unique, muddy and positively disturbing tracks these past few weeks. I want you all to know that myself and Mr. Clark are super fucking psyched for someone other than ourselves to peep what has been created to reaffirm what we already know, and that is that this record will kick all kinds of tookus! I am very happy and proud of the tracks that have been recorded so far. Mike has been turning out custom made tracks for me that have blown my mind in so many different particles and shards, that I don't know what to write to next. Its like being a kid, and being handed the keys to a Toys R Us (Or Lionel Playworld if your like me, cause no offense to Geoffrey the Giraffe but Kaycee Kangaroo would kick your ass if he was still around) and then trying to decide what toy to play with first. Its just the greatest fucking thing in the world to be able to have someone with the history and skills as Mike E. to lay down tracks for you daily.
I will probably get kicked in the ass by the Spazmatic foot for dropping this little tidbit of info, but there is a track on the record called Family Tree that I love more than anything I have recorded in a while. I cant wait to hear what yall think about that one. I better stop because if I get going I will start posting lyrics, and album art on this bitch. But not only have I been bustin out some lyrics, I also have been bustin out my in front of the camera skills shooting stuff for the documentary that will come out with the record. I aint going to get to much into it right now, but it will be very interesting to anyone who wants to know the long road that I took to get to where I am now. I am also going to try and add some videos along with the record and documentary.  I also have not decided as of yet, but I want to also throw another sumn sumn in with all of that, to make South of Hell the greatest deal since the Ronco Rhinoceros Dehydrator that made all of that delicious rhino jerky we all loved as kids.
Well I know it wasn't the longest or most informative post in the world, but I have got to get back to writing  so I can get this freshness out to all of yall asap! So keep checking in and there will be more of these in the very near future. Also I will be posting a few days ahead of time in the next few weeks when I'll be answering more questions in the Ask Boondox blog. Well until them fam, stay up and know that I love yall....Oh wait!! I almost forgot!! If your in or near or don't give a fuck about a long ass drive area of Plymouth Massachusetts, then you will want to come peep the show at Plymouth Memorial Hall on October the 16th! Why? I know I just posted some shit on here before, but as I talked about in the previous "blog", I am going to be doing a Q&A and I will be doing it sometime this week. So get your questions ready and I will get ready to answer them shits. I have gotten a good response from the last one of these I did and allot of yall posted comments. Thanks for that by the way. It's nice to know yall read the shit that I write. Anyways because so many have responded I expect to get allot of questions so please keep it to one question per person. I am going to try and answer every single one of yall so that's why.  Since ya only get one ya better make it good and think on it. If I get the same questions more than once I will only answer it once. So if I don't address you specifically when answering please don't feel dissed, it's probably because more than one person asked it.

If I get more questions than I can answer in a day and don't get to your's, please don't feel dissed. Like I said, I want to try and answer all of yall but it might not be possible to do so. I'm gonna try though damnit!! I am thinking this will go down mid week where I will post something up saying "ask your questions here" or some shit like that. I am doing this all on my own and haven't figured it all out as of yet. I will probably give like two days for you to post your questions and then on the same "blog" I will start posting answers. My fingers can only type so much so it may take me a few days to get to everything so be patient with my slow ass.

Since I did get so much of a good response on this I have decided to continue to "blog" but I gotta name it something else. Shoot me some ideas. I hope nobody gets pissed about me doin this. I just think it's the shit to sit here on my couch and reach out to all the Juggalos with words. Aint technology tha shit?! I was told once that it was better to keep a mystery about yourself, and while I do agree in some respects, I also think that keeping your fans up on whats going on in your life is the shit too! I aint gonna do this everyday or maybe even every week.. Hell I might do one once a month. I don't want yall getting tired of me! There is always gonna be shit yall don't know about me that I will reveal in my music for you to decipher on your own. OK, I'm rambling already. I just wanted to start off by saying that I have never done a blog and I honestly don't even know what the fuck a blog even is. I am guessing it's just like an update or whatever on the goings on in your world. Anyways that's how I'm treating it. Anyways, I just wanted to let the fam know how my Gathering went and all of that good shit. First off I want to say that I always look forward to the Gathering every year since I  signed to Psychopathic because it gives me the chance to meet up with all the family and personally thank them for having my back and supporting my music and all the things  I do. All of my fans are the shit and I am being nothing but real when I say, that it's all love to yall. I know not everyone that attends the Gathering and that follows Psychopathic Records is a Boondox fan and that's ok with me because I am not every ones cup of tea. I want all of those people to know that its all love to yall too because its all family. You might not like what I do but you like what my other homies on the label do and as long as you support one of us its all good to me. Ok. Back to the subject at hand.

I had a great time this year and got to see and meet a lot of new faces and hang out with some old ones. I love going to the autograph tent and signing things because that's really where I get to talk to yall and hear what's on your minds and listen to your stories. It was especially cool this year because it's the first time that Juggalo's didn't skip over me for an autograph. I used to get skipped a lot and it's understandable because it takes some people a while to come around and a lot of yall probably were thinking that I wouldn't be around long enough to matter. I'm glad I was able to change some minds and win some new fans and I thank yall for giving me a chance. I eventually would like to have all of the family as fans because the family means everything to me, fan or not.

I also really had a good time doing the Juggalo's Got Tallent show. All the Juggalo's were cool and there were some really talented folks up in there. Some good rappers, a bike rider, a dude who drew with his nose, a dude who played the shit out of some hand drums, and a comedian. All very talented and all were the shit, The audience was very cool and participated in the voting and we had a tie for the winner, the drum guy and a female rap group. I hope they keep this an event and I hope I continue to be able to host it.

My seminar was super short and I didn't get to most of the shit I wanted to talk about. I do not know why it was cut short. They said I was like an hour late or some shit but going by the schedule I was given I was only like 10 minutes late. I did get to talk a little about the new record and confirmed it will be called South of Hell. I also talked about an addition to the record that will be a documentary on my life so far and my journey up to this point that will include interviews with my blood family and friend's as well as my Juggalo family. It will be called Southern Bled and should be very interesting to make. My blood family is a fuckin trip yall as you will eventually see.

My performance went pretty well, besides the mic cutting out. I seem to always have that problem ever since my first performance at the Gathering. I was joined on stage as always by Cleetus my usual hype man and one of my homies from back in the day, Smokey. I think we rocked that shit and I felt good about the performance. I really enjoyed performing Cold Cruel World for the first time live. It is one of my favorites by me. It has allot of truth behind it and I feel that shit when I hear is and especially when I did it live. The Juggalo's were feeling the music and I was feeling the vibe that they were putting off and I had more energy on stage than I have had in a long time. Yall fuel my ass like a case of Red Bull and 12 shots of 5 hour energy.

I know this shit is long and half of yall stopped reading 5 minutes ago, but fuck it I feel like talking to my homies... I talked enough about my shit so now I will move into some other things that made this Gathering the super shit to me. Ice Cube performing right there in front of me on the same stage that I would perform on the next night was crazy to me. It was super surreal. He is a legend yall!!!! I also was feelin MC Chris. I have been listening to his music for about a year and I dig it. Tech N9ne put on a dope show and so did KMK. I was able to catch a few second stage acts as well and I was really feelin a lot of the acts. There are some real sick MC's in the underground and a lot of them played the 2nd stage. I have been a fan of a lot of these dudes for a while before I got signed and it is dope to get to see them perform.

I guess the last thing I wanted to say is kind of a rant. I seen allot of family love out there, ninjas helping ninjas, and family just chillin and enjoying all that was going on around them. But I also seen some pretty fucked up shit to. I want to say that I am the last person to judge and the last person to tell anyone how to live their lives, but some of yall got to be more careful with yourselves. I love yall and want ya around for a long time so just try and ease up on some of the dangerous shit yall be doin. Everybody likes to have a good time, and Juggalos know more than anyone, but some of yall need to hold back a little on the celebration. Like I said, I aint trying to tell ya how to live or parent you, I just want to see yall next year and the year after and so on. It's all about moderation mu fuckas!

This blog shit was pretty cool. I might have to hook one of these up every other week or so to keep yall up to date on whats going on with the record. Like updates as I record it and what not. If yall would like that then leave a comment and let a skarcrow know whats up. I also, since I don't do allot of interviews, plan to do a Q&A with all yall on here real soon. I might just post a blog up that says "Put your questions here" and then answer them on another. If ya got a better idea on how to do then yell at me about that to.
