Bad Advice is pleased to present part 2 of Nate Manic's "It's Never Easy". Rounding out a fantastic roster of remixers, including the UK's HeavyFeet and Full Phat, are Glasgow wunderkind Cheap as Chimps, Chicago Techno up-and-comer Genna Greene and the one, the only, Derrick Carter. Derrick's remix, recently featured in his Resident Advisor Podcast, gets the EP rockin' early with a signature, bumpin, acidy jam. Genna gets deep on us with a beautiful minimal techno mix and Tom Simmons rounds out the project with a quirky, fun tech-house stomper.

Nate Laurence- Derrick’s mix is slammin brother. I’ll be playing this one for sure. Many thanks as always!

Uriah West- Just wanted to say this track is great! Keep it up!

Full Phat- All three remixes are the shit. But that Derrick Carter remix, one word.Oof.

Q Burns- I'm digging the Genna Greene mix the most ... The sparseness of it is really refreshing and will work well in my sets.

Tommy Largo- Nice remixes. I'm playing the derrick carter remix.

John Laurence Ritchie (Inland Knights)- big derrick fan but i'm goin' for the chimps mix... interesting and funky... twisted too

Atnarko- Never Easy (Mouldy Banana mix) is my pick on the bunch , great for my tweekier sets!

OUT NOW ON BEATPORT!

Release Date- Monday November 24th 2008- click on image to preview the EP in full!

Bad Advice Inc. presents ''Soft Cheese'' by Glasgow's Full Phat, a talented Tech-House and Fidget producer who has been making quite a name for himself through numerous releases on labels including Clean House, On The Brink, Flatpack Traxx, 3am, Refo and Bad Advice. Bassy techy stompers ''Rubber Band'' and ''Will I See You'' get the EP off to a fast start, while Nate Manic's remix of ''Don't Stop'' compliments the offerings with a deep electro latenight romp. The EP also includes a bonus dubstep remix of ''Fat Burdy'', which appeared originally on BAM002.

Terry Mullan (Catalyst)- "Rubber Band" with it's flanged out funk is the track for me, also digging "Will I See You".

Nate Laurence-  I'm  loving Rubber Band brother. Nice one on Full Phat; I'm always interested in hearing what he comes up with. Good stuff.

Peter Hook (New Order)-  It's very well done production etc… good listening.

Tommy Largo-  Nice release.   My favourite track of this ep is "rubber band".   Will play and chart.

DJ Fame- Was liking "Will I see You". Bouncing groove...

HeavyFeet- Rubber Band is solid as! Nice fidgety sounding groove, nice and deep and f**ked up! Reminds me of early Switch and Jesse Rose stuff.    The reprise and your remix… ensure you have a package with a bit of everything on.
   Keep it up!

Chris Santiago (Pottymouth, Ultra)- Really feelin 'Rubber Band' - has a Derrick Carter 'esque feel to it w/ a touch of fidget.
  Will support this one!

Q Burns- I like some of the tweaky elements in Rubber Band quite a bit and Fat Burdy Reprise has some really interesting bits so cheers for it ...

Ken Ishii- Rubber Band sounds great to me. I have already played it out and always got a nice reaction.
  Keep up the good work!

Sassmouth (NBFC, Klectik)- I especially like Nate's remix--will definitely play it and the Fat Burdy remix is an epic acidy jam-- perfect when I want to throw the dancefloor for a loop ;)
