What do you do when the attacks of life come? Do you get into
despair? Do you focus on your inability to solve your problems, or do
you focus on God..s ability and His faithfulness to bring you through?

In 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 the apostle Paul speaks personally and gives
us a picture of the dreadful problems he was going through when he
said, We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are
perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast
down, but not destroyed.

In other words, Paul was saying, "The attacks of life come to all of
us. But when you're hit, don't give up and don't get into fear. No
matter how big or how bad the problem is, God is bigger! Stand strong
in your faith and declare, ..My God will deliver me!'"

Isn't that what Moses said when he stood at the edge of the Red Sea
with Pharaoh's armies chasing him from behind? He said, Stand still,
and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13 KJV).

Moses and the Israelites were surrounded by trouble on every side.
There was a roaring sea in front of them and a whole army of
Egyptians thundering down on them from behind.

It seemed as if there was no way out, but God brought a great
miracle. He divided the waters of the sea so the people could walk
across on dry land!

And in the midst of whatever problem you're facing, God can do the
same for you!

There's POWER To Overcome

Louis L'Amour, one of the great western writers, had a saying he
often used to describe his leading characters. He would say, "That
man takes a lot of killin'," meaning there was no quit in him!

And that's a picture of you and me when we refuse to give up in the
midst of our problems! That's you and me, declaring by faith, "I may
fall down, but I won't stay down!"

No matter what you're going through, God is faithful. If you've
fallen, you can get up and dust yourself off and move on.

If someone has done something horrible to you, give them to God.
Say, "God, forgive them. I forgive them and I release them to you."

That's what Jesus did that dark Friday afternoon as He hung on the
Cross for you and me—He forgave those who had put Him there. Then He
rose again on Sunday to purchase our salvation and—through His Spirit—
to give us the power to overcome anything that comes against us. For
we are more than conquerors, Romans 8:37 tells us, through Him
[Christ] who loved us.

If you've never made a full commitment of your life to the One who
died for you and whose power can make you an overcomer, I encourage
you to pray this prayer with me right now:

Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, forgive my sins, and
turn my whole life around. Lord, help me remember that it's not about
me. It's about You and the Resurrection power You give me to overcome
life's problems. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

We want to agree with you in prayer, believing God to bring miracles
into your life. We'd love to hear from you!

Message: In an Instant

Today..s Verse: Isaiah 29:5 and 6
Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly. 6)Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

All through the Bible, we have examples of how God suddenly showed Himself strong on behalf of His people. But sometimes when we..ve struggled in an area for a long time, it..s easy to just give up and accept things the way they are. One of the enemy..s favorite lies is to tell you that nothing is ever going to change. He..ll tell you that you..re never going to get well, that your marriage isn..t going to work out, that you..re never going to break that addiction.

But I want to tell you today, it doesn..t matter how long you..ve been in those circumstances, God can change things in an instant! In a split second of time, He can turn it all around. One touch of God..s power can heal your body. One touch of His favor can promote you. One touch of His goodness can solve that problem. Just one touch from Almighty God can instantly change your life.

I encourage you today, keep believing, keep standing, and keep hoping. Don..t let the enemy drag your thoughts down because God is working behind the scenes. Your time is coming, and I declare that your breakthrough is going to happen suddenly—in an instant!

Prayer for Today:
Father in heaven, I choose to trust that You are working things out for my good. I choose to stand in faith, believing that my season of breakthrough is coming. Give me Your strength and peace as I patiently wait on You. In Jesus.. Name. Amen.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalm 18:1-3

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. ” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

When you make Jesus the Lord of your of life, something supernatural takes
place on the inside of you. The Spirit of God actually makes His home in your
heart. And the Bible tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is
freedom! When you allow that truth to sink into your mind and heart, when you
get into agreement with God and begin to declare that you are free, then you
will see that freedom manifest in every area of your life. God will begin to
turn around situations that you’ve been praying about for years. He’ll restore
relationships that you thought were impossible. He’ll bring health and wholeness
back into your body. Those dreams, those promises that are on the inside of you,
they may look too big, but God will set you free to pursue those dreams. He’ll
set you up to overcome every obstacle. He’ll empower you to defeat every enemy
so that you can move forward in freedom and victory in every area of your life!

Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Spirit that lives inside me and gives me
life. Help me to know You and Your power so that I can live in the freedom You
have for me. In Jesus’ Name.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen
do . . . Be ye not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

(MATTHEW 6 : 7-8)

You serve a God who
supplies your needs before you even know you have a need. He created
the seed that would grow into the tree that would be crafted into the
chair you are sitting on. The Almighty had you in mind long ago when
that seed first fell to the ground.

If you have a need, that's proof He has already provided
everything for that need to be met. Regardless of the situation you may
be in at this very moment, God has already provided. Whether your
children need new shoes or you do not know how you are going to pay the
rent, rest in the assurance that not only will He provide, but He will
stop satan in his tracks. God knows your need. He had a plan to take
care of everything before you were even born.

Take time to set aside all of your physical and emotional
needs for your greatest need--your need of Him. Hunger and thirst after
God. Seek Him with your whole heart. Know that when He meets with You
then every need is met.

THANK YOU LORD, FOR
KNOWING AND MEETING ALL MY NEEDS. HOW I NEED YOU, O GOD. VISIT ME WITH
YOURSELF FOR IN YOU ALL MY NEEDS ARE MET. HALLELUJAH! AMEN.

This is from a special preacher, Evangelist David Ring

As children of God we are instructed to walk by faith and not by sight.  The writer of the book of Hebrews wrote these words in chapter 11; "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  In fact we're told in that same book that it is impossible to please God without faith.

When I think of the word faith, the story of Peter walking on the water comes to my mind.  You know the account of Jesus telling his disciples to get into the boat and cross over to the other side of the sea.  After everyone was gone, Jesus went up into the mountain to pray. Now the disciples in the boat found themselves in a storm.  They were very familiar with storms because they had lived around water all their lives.  They were fishermen by trade before Jesus interrupted their lives to call them out to become fishers of men.  However, this night was totally different from any other night they had experienced.  During the worst of the storm, they saw a man walking on the water.  When the disciples saw him, they were terrified and cried out in fear, "It's a Ghost!"  Well, wouldn't you be scared to death if you saw a man walking on the water?  I thought so.  Jesus immediately said to them, "Be of good cheer, it is I."  It is so important for us to remember that in every storm of life, Jesus always shows up.  He tells us to take courage and trust him.

In this story Peter responds to the voice of Jesus. He says, "Lord is that is really you?  If so, let me come to you on the water."  Do we do that?  In the midst of a storm, do we ask if God is really there?  Peter was ready to exercise his faith but he questioned if Jesus was really there.  We can almost hear Jesus saying to Peter, "It's okay Peter. Come on."  The Bible says that Peter left the boat and walked on water to go to Jesus.  It took every ounce of faith that Peter had to climb out of the boat that night and he was doing just fine until he took his eyes off Jesus.  Peter learned, like we all have to, that we must walk by faith and not be concerned by the circumstances of the raging storm around us.

In addition to our own fears and questions, there are often others with fears and questions trying to discourage us.  Can you imagine the conversation in the boat that night when Peter started climbing overboard?  The other disciples probably said something like this:

"Hey Peter, where do you think you are going?"

"I'm going to walk on water to go to Jesus."

"Now Peter," they respond, "You know you can't do that.  You haven't taken Walking on Water 101 yet.  Besides, we love Jesus too but let's not go overboard about it."

You're telling me that it doesn't say that in your Bible.  It doesn't. But we hear people everyday telling us, "Don't go, don't go, don't go.  We love Jesus too but don't be a fanatic about it."  They tell us to sit down because we're rocking the boat.  A person walking by faith often makes others uncomfortable. Not many in the church want to leave the comfort of the boat to face the unknown.

If we're going to follow Jesus all the way, we're going to have to leave our comfort zone. We have to trust Jesus. Let me encourage you to get out of the boat today and walk by faith.

Today's Scripture

“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no
man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my
word, and hast not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8, NLT).

God is ready to present you with new opportunities. He wants to open
new doors before you. It doesn’t matter what’s happening in the world
around you, in the economy, the housing industry, or with job reports;
God’s Word still remains true. He rewards the people who seek after
Him. He’s not the least bit concerned about how He’s going to supply
your needs. There is no recession in heaven. He has His eye on you, and
He still opens doors that no one can shut! In an instant, He can bring
the right people into your life, the right opportunities, and the right
resources to take you to a new level.

But in order to go to a higher level, you have to have a higher way
of thinking. You can’t stay focused on what’s happening in the natural
nor allow worry and fear to fill your thoughts. Remember, God’s ways
are higher than our ways. He is working on your behalf behind the
scenes in the supernatural realm. Choose to keep an attitude of faith
and expectancy. As you do, you’ll move forward through the open doors
of blessing God has prepared for you.

A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, I bless Your holy name. Thank You for opening
doors for me that no one can close. Fill me with Your peace and joy
today as I wait on You. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Turn in your Bibles to John 19 verse 30. the verse says When Jesus
therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he
bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

I do not care what your situation looks like. I do not care what the
devil has been trying to do in your life. I do not care what kind of
lie he has tried to sell you. Settle it in you spirit once and for
all that the devil is defeated. The devil may know your past, but you
know his future. He is finished. He is destroyed. He is defeated.

Jesus came to earth "to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 2:7).
The word works in this verse means the kind of energy that produces
power or action. Jesus came to strip the devil of his power. The only
power the enemy has over you is what you give him through believing
his lies.

When Jesus hung his head on the Cross and said, "It is finished," he
did not mean "almost finished." The battle was won at Calvary and
declared at His resurrection. Do not let the devil browbeat you any
longer. Tell him he was defeated two thousand years ago, and claim
your victory today. Rejoice, because when Jesus said, "It is
finished," He meant it was finished for the devil and Your salvation,
healing, deliverance, and victory were also settled for eternity.

Prayer:
I declare to the enemy that he is DEFEATED. satan you are FINISHED,
you have no authority over my life. ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY BELONGS
TO CHRIST. HE IS THE ONE I LISTEN TO, AND I AM DEAF TO ANY LIES YOU
WOULD SAY TO ME. AMEN.

"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is
impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

Are you facing something today that seems impossible? With man it may
be, but with God, ALL things are possible! If you seem to be in an
impossible situation, get with God! Sometimes it's so easy to focus on
our problems and try to solve them in our own strength. But remember,
the battle belongs to the Lord. He has a plan for your victory. He has
a plan to give you a way out. He is making the things that seem
impossible, possible. You can trust Him today. The Bible says that He
has plans for your good, not for evil, to give you a future and a
hope. Start believing and confessing today, "I am with God, and with
God all things are possible!" Are your bills piling up? With God, all
things are possible. Do your relationships need healing? With God, all
things are possible. Is there sickness in you body? With God, all
things are possible! As you meditate on God's power, He will work in
your life, and you will step forward into that place of victory He has
in store for you.

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for making a way where there seems to be no
way. I choose to trust You, and I believe that all things are
possible! Show me Your power today. Work through me to encourage those
around me to trust You more. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
