Just posted three new songs up here: Knocked On Wood, Slow Paint Peeling and Honey (the 2009 version). The new playlist comprises of five new songs we recorded this year. Still don't know quite what to do with them but at least they can now be heard. Please don't be shy, let us know what you think.

We're playing October 7th @ Tonic Room in Lincoln Park. How nice it would be if you could make it.

There are also a couple of new songs to listen to called "Blonde Gone Blue" and "Dear Advisor". These are two of four newly recorded songs which I will be posting eventually.

I noticed it's been three months since I last posted a message here. I feel this is as good a time as any to update you on the comings and goings of Zerostars. I've been writing new songs, 4 and a half in total (trying to finish up the other half). Those four and a half (soon to be five) and an older song which has yet to be recorded properly will be the basis for our next recording. They are called:

Blonde Gone Blue
The Currency Exchange
Slow Paint Peeling
Knocked On Wood (old song, set closer)
Why On Earth
Dear Advisor (I think so anyway)

No idea when we'll actually spend time in the studio yet, but I'd like to get a couple more songs under my belt before we start any substantial recordings. Or not.

In otherwise non-Zerostars related news, my (and Scott's) old band, The Holiday Costume, is reuniting for a one-off reunion show sometime early next year. We've been disbanded since about 2001 and formed way back in 98. It's sort of a 10 year reunion in a way. Mark, the drummer for THC was also the former drummer for Zerostars. I'm super excited to see the five of us in one room after all this time, only partially excited over how we'll sound. I'll post more info here once it becomes available.

Thanks everyone who attended Schubas' last Wednesday night. We had a bang up time and from what I hear, played the best we've played in two years. Sorry for all the slacking in between time. We don't currently have anything else scheduled, but I recently had a dream in which we played some record store so look out for that potentially.

Oh, and I've been writing again. A couple songs have potential to make their way to the studio if we get bored, more on that to come.
