Sup boys and girls? Summer's over and we're back from a short European Tour where we had the chance to get together again some old friends and promote our latest EP - Threshold. So shows have been great but we've decided we're now taking some time off to start working on our debut LP which is due to be out by Thorp Recs anytime next year. Meanwhile, we'll keep you guys posted on whatever comes up.

We're glad to let everyone know that Reaching Hand just joined the Thorp Records family (Madball, Ramallah, Slapshot, Discipline, Sheer Terror etc.) who is now responsible for the worldwide release of the band's debut EP - Threshold.
As Andy King (Thorp Records Pres.) stated: "We are thrilled to announce that REACHING HAND has joined the THORP
RECORDS roster. We are psyched to help introduce the world to their
infectious brand of melodic, impassioned, female-fronted hardcore. Look
for a digital release of the "Threshold" EP this summer and a full
length in the future."
Meanwhile, Substance Records, Uri Geller Records and Chorus of One Records are also releasing both CD and Vinyl versions of the Threshold EP all over Europe.

What's up people? Just a quick post, to let you in on what's been happening with RH these last couple of months.
So, 28 days, 6 skin cancers and a shit-load of bruises after we hopped in the van for our European summer tour, we were back in the practice room, trying out some new tunes for our upcoming EP. This process took us something like 6 to 8 weeks, since some of us were getting back to our daily routines, while others were starting out new jobs. Anyway, by the end of October we went in the studio and started laying down the new tracks. All was fine and we were just mixing the whole thing down, when in mid November the studio computer that had our tracks in it broke down. We lived in agony for a good couple of days, thinking we might have to record everything again! We don't know how, but the guys at the studio managed to recover the tracks. Nevertheless, the whole thing set us back a few weeks and we didn't have the recording ready 'till December. Meanwhile, the artwork's also been a real pain in the ass! Designers haven't been around or with time to help us out. We finally teamed up with Lexi from Desperate Days designs once again, who's taking care of our artwork as we speak. At this point, we're about to send the EP to the pressing plant anytime soon. It'll come out both in CD and 7" Vinyl. Chorus of One Recs from Italy is gonna take care of the CD version, while Substance Recs and a couple other labels still to be confirmed, are gonna handle the Vinyl version. The EP will be called Threshold, and we're already planning our next tour to support the release. In the meantime, you can check us out in shows around Portugal and Spain. We're also opening our own online store in a near future, where you'll be able to drop by and buy our merch in a much simpler way than now. We'll post a few bulletins when it's ready, so keep your eyes open! That's it for now, thanks to everyone for the huge support, especially the people who helped us out with our tour, trusted enough to put our records out, and all the kids going to our shows, buying our music and merch, and that continuously invite us to play in their hometowns!
Huge props, you're keeping this shit alive! RH

RH finally came across it's permanent bass player - Nuno!
He'll be taking care of RH's bass section from now on, and you'll have the chance to check him out live on our forthcoming shows in November. In the meantime, we'd like to thank our friends David (Broken Distance) and Poochie (Effort) for helping us out on our first 2 shows last month, we couldn't make it without your help.
Check out their bands, they're rad! RH
