In anticipation of their Oct. 15 music issue,  New York Press is allowing readers to vote for their favorite local band.  Yours truly is on the ballot and if I get the most votes I get a feature in the music issue.  Woot.  The polls are open until October 1st.

Alright now, I'm not going to lie.  I think this is silly.  Everyone knows there is going to be that one band that uses nefarious means to garner votes.  Like getting dead people to cast ballots.  Or whatnot.

But, if you like my music and think I have a better name than "The Dunnie Bobos" or "Richie Rich and the Poor People" then VOTE FOR ME.  Or if you really like those band names, then get your friends to vote for me.

OH LADY YOU SHOT ME
They're finally finished!  Hooray!  Fan-friggin-tastic!  And they look awesome.  Although I'm not "officially" releasing the new album until the release show (which will likely be in October...the album will also be available for sale via CD Baby, itunes, etc.), you can "pre-order" a copy from me now!

If you "Pre-Order"....what the hell does this mean?

A. You can't wait another second to get your hands on the 9 musical masterpieces that make up Lisa Jaeggi's debut album "Oh Lady You Shot Me".
B. You want to get some siiiiiiick art custom made by Lisa Jaeggi which will be included with every pre-ordered cd.  I'm feeling crafty.   And you will feel so special.
C. You realize that distributors like CD Baby and itunes take a hefty percent of artist sales and want to fight the man by giving Lisa Jaeggi 100% of sales so she can continuing making music slash paying her rent.  Woot.
D. You are jealous that your roommates keep getting packages in the mail when all you get is bills...and random J Crew Catalogs.
