So here's the point - whenever we get discouraged about something we might not like about ourselves, that separates us from the rest of society, or makes us different, it's because we are unique - just like Rudolph. His shiny red nose that glowed in the dark made him unique, different and special.

This carol should inspire us to look inside ourselves and find out what is unique about each one of us - not just how we look, live or what we do on a daily basis, but why we are here and how we got here from the time we're conceived right up to today. Our life lessons make us all unique and special. We all have our different lessons and roads to travel. It's all part of our journey to peace and prosperity. We just have to choose it. a Very Merry Christmas!

How do you know if your friends are really the friends they say they are or are they really foes in disquise? Let's assume you are all alone with no family, no spouse, no close relative(s) and not even one friend to check in on you once in a while just to see if you're alive. Here you are struggling to survive just like everybody else - financially, physically, mental, emotional or whatever. Meanwhile, you may also discover you have some positive qualities you either knew you had all along or may be just discovering unique things about yourself you didn't realize you had, or alittle of both. Because you may feel all excited and inspired, you are dying to share these qualities with friends, strangers, loved ones or perhaps the whole world, just to find some way to contribute what you have to offer to this world - to find your purpose.

You may be as naive as I am in believing that people are ready to embrace your contribution, theories, or ideas on ways to make the world a better place, or you may be starting to realize on the contrary, that you are existing in a cold, hostile world full of greedy people also struggling and competing for the same thing(s) you want - recognition, financial success and personal happiness.  While we're on the subject of personal happiness, this can mean a thousand different things to many different people. To one person, personal happiness can mean being economically stable, financially independent, living comfortably or luxuriously in a beautiful home beside the beach, on the lake or on a beautiful acre of land out in the country.  To another it can mean being married, engaged to, or spoken for by the man (woman) of your dreams and you didn't give a rat's ass where you live or how much you make. To another, personal happiness can mean being a stay-at-home mom running your own business with no need to find daycare or go to work.  The list can go on and on. We all deserve to be happy, but happiness begins from within ourselves - it can't be given to us. I'm a struggling single mom fighting everyday with a vision. The more I see myself for the person I perceive myself as, the harder I want to work toward my goals and live my dream. The more determined I am, the more I also realize that unfortunately many people are too jealous to acknowledge you as the beautiful, unique human being you know you are today.

People can be jealous of you for alot of different reasons. They're jealous of your success, potential to succeed, they're jealous of your fortune or fate, your intelligence, your self-confidence, physical beauty, they're jealous if you have friends, family, or a significant other, they're jealous of your material assetts, your sense of inner peace, your spirituality, and even your mental stability. When you suddenly feel stripped of everything that represents your pride and dignity, then you probably have been. When this happens, then your so-called "friends" start to lurk around and pity you, pretending to be your friends. But in all honesty most of your so-called friends are secretly happy to see you lose, because they want to see you as miserable as they are. You don't even have to do anything wrong to receive undeserved treatment.

There are many people who have brains, there are many people who have beauty - in other words - most people have one without the other. You're either a "bimbo" or let's face it - a "brain" ok? But TRY HAVING THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS - I dare you! If you're one of those special people with BRAINS AND BEAUTY - just watch what happens every time you post a blog whenever you have something you want to say, especially something intelligent - WELL GUESS WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN: THE SILENT TREATMENT! (Everybody can't run away fast enough)

Here's a question for all of you: why do other people initiate rapports with their ideas which usually are not as original as your own and they get recognized? I think I get it now, and I hate to say it - you can be punished for just being a pretty girl. Sorry to offend anybody but at this point I just gotta go with my gut so take it or leave it and say what you will - or again say nothing. But that's all I have to say - ESPECIALLY TO EVERYBODY OUT THERE FIGHTING OVER A MAN NOT WORTH THE TIME OF DAY - YOU CAN HAVE HIM BECAUSE I AM BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER HOW FAST HE RUNS AWAY!

AND THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT:)

Time is marching on and it will be a busy seaon between babysitting my neighbor's 1-yr-old daughter three days a week from 5:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., along with my own 3-yr-old son and arranging Avon delivery times twice a month w/ customers. Coordinating this with babysitting and working 32 hours/week is starting us off to be a busy year! 

In the past Ben has always interacted really well with other kids as long as Ben plays with groups of children - like he has done in his play groups - he does really well with social interaction. However our new challenge now is his behavior with another child who we're babysitting at home for the first time. It's starting out pretty hard for Ben who is used to having all the one-on-one attention from being an only child. 

Today was an exhausting day working on Ben's jealousy issues with Baby Lexy - that's her name. I wish it could be easier for him to socialize more civilly and not be so mean to the point of behaving aggressively toward the poor baby. I'm having to intervene constantly instead of enjoy a pleasant day allowing the kids to sit together and watch a Disney movie. If Ben could just learn to be in the same room with her without showing so much hostility - that alone would be a miracle and would make my day!   

I sure hope it will get easier because it's turning out to be a major adjustment for Ben. Well aside from that I hope everybody's school year is off to a good start.
