Current mood:  peaceful

Dear Pretty In Stereo Friends and Family,

You've probably been wondering why we've been so quiet lately. Well, we've all been doing a lot of soul searching as individuals and as a band.

Pretty In Stereo has had a wonderful four to five years of rocking out, causing trouble, and leaving our mark wherever we would go. But as we all know, good things must come to an end.

That time has come for Pretty In Stereo.

We will still be performing our two upcoming shows in October. These will be Pretty In Stereo's final shows.

Our profile will stay up along with our songs for your viewing pleasure.

We want to thank all of you for your support through thick and thin. Thank you for coming to our shows, spreading the word about us to friends, giving us places to sleep when we were on the road, and so much more.

We love you!

Signing Off,

Natalie, Jodi, Cassandra, and Erin

We would like to take a moment to thank the members of Motley Crue, their support team, and Guitar Center for giving us the chance to become one of the top 30 bands chosen out of over 8,000 submissions nationwide to be considered for an opening spot on Motley Crue's 2009 tour.

To us this was a major accomplishment especially since we are an all female band (the only all female band in the contest to make it this far) and as many female musicians, it is not an easy task to Break the Stereotype and the low expectations many people in the industry have of female musicians.

We wish the finalists the best of luck on the road to success with this contest.

Alright..as you all know, we just advanced in the Motley Crue/Make rock history contest. So get this...we just found out that we can only play ONE song in front of the judges in this next round and we have NO idea which song we should play. Please help us decide.

Go to our page and tell us which song is the most marketable.
Which song is our "hit" song? Which song do you think we NEED to play to win this competition?

If you've seen us live...you REALLY can help us....
tell us which one you think we perform best.

Also...please leave your suggestion as a comment on our page (in this blog) so it's easier for us to keep track of the votes.

We are only allowed to pick one of the 3 songs that we submitted to the contest. These 3 songs include : Are you ready, Moving on, and Far behind.

These 2 songs are on our myspace page :
MOVING ON
ARE YOU READY

The 3rd song is here : http://www. last. fm/music/Pretty+in+Stereo
FAR BEHIND

You guys rock for helping us.

Thanks for the love and support,
Natalie, Cassie,Erin, & Jodi

Newsflash!

Hollywood, CA— Members of the rock band Pretty In Stereo got ugly in stereo last night in an after-show smackdown with club security at an unspecified club in Hollywood. Industry insiders believe the situation may have been an unconscious effort of the group to emulate their favorite band, Motley Crue.

Witnesses in the parking lot of the club were overheard saying, "Man, this is just like seeing the Crue on the Sunset Strip in 1982...except with less booze and groupies," and "Wow! I paid for a show inside the club and got one outside in the parking lot, too! It's like a 2-for-1 deal! Thanks Motley In Stereo!"

After what can only be described as a booming performance to a crowded club, the members of Pretty In Stereo were seen arguing with the security crew. According to eye witnesses, the club's head of security was "acting like a nard bag" and not allowing the band to unload their gear through a door that the band was instructed to carry their gear through. Without warning, the singer of Pretty In Stereo allegedly picked up the 6-foot-2 security guard, spun him around over her head multiple times, and then body slammed him into the wall. Onlookers gasped in amazement as she immediately "snapped into a Slim Jim" and walked over the dazed and concussed security guard. A conflicting report said the security personnel may have grabbed the singer and thrown her around like a rag doll, which is pretty lame considering the security guard is big and the girls in Pretty In Stereo are the opposite of big.

One of the members of the band was overhead yelling, "Take your club and your money and shove it up your @%*." Conflicting reports say she may or may not have thrown a half-empty bottle of Jack Daniels at the door, much like Nikki Sixx may have done years prior.

"This is as Motley as you can get," one onlooker said.

After the "smackdown," L.A.P.D. were on the scene to survey the damage and record the events of the night. Pretty In Stereo was not sited for the disturbance, and it's been confirmed that the cops on the scene were heard playing P.I.S.'s latest CD as they pulled out of the parking lot. While Motley Crue may have had an antagonistic relationship with the police of Los Angeles, P.I.S. feels that the Crue would be proud of the way Pretty In Stereo kicked ass and fought the powers that be all while not getting arrested.

Pretty In Stereo has been dubbed "L.A.P.D.'s New Favorite Band" and have been given the green light to further rough up knob-job security guards as the girls see fit. Rock and roll!

There are a few things we love in this world: guitar harmonies, double bass drum, Captain Morgans, and Motley Crue. We'd like to combine those four loves of ours, but we need your help. If you scroll down our page, you'll see a link for a Motley Crue contest, which if we get enough votes, we could end up opening for the Crue in 2009. We'll bring the guitar harmonies, the double bass drum, and the Captain, but we need your help to vote us into the Crue's presence.

So, if you're interested in helping your favorite band out (we are your favorite, right?), go ahead and log into the Guitar Center contest and vote for us! Here's the link you can click on or copy and paste:

Some of our sweet little fans made us a MySpace profile to promote the contest, so feel free to check that out and add it to your friends if you want to help out! www.myspace.com/teaminstereo There are some good stories on there and more on the way!

Do you think the Crue would change "Girls, Girls, Girls" to "Girls, Girls, Girls, Girls" since there's four of us? The only way to find out is to vote for us!

XOXO

So we were curious and have been watching way too many episodes of "Ghost Hunters", "Paranormal State", and "Most Haunted". We thought we'd turn the keyboard over to YOU!

We want to hear your scariest encounter with the unknown. You never know who could be reading and have had the same type of thing happen!

So come on and share that scare!

Be sure to check this blog often for photos and video!

So far, we've had 1 full weekend in the studio with Rich of VT Recording Studios in Beautiful Beaumont, CA. We've completed drums and rhythm guitars for five songs. We hope to release them by May. The songs are:

Warning
Not Alright
13 Miles
Are You Ready
Moving on

We go back into the studio this weekend (4/8, 4/9) to track bass and lead guitars, perhaps some vocals as well. We're planning to take some video and photos of our upcoming sessions because we're just too damn funny and we need to share that with y'all.

So keep checking back here for posts over the weekend! Take Care!

Yes folks, the time has FINALLY come! We're scheduled to start tracking this Saturday and Sunday for six songs that we will release in the next month or so. This will be a special CD that will be available online for a TBD price but will most likely be FREE at our shows...(so if you want a copy, get your butt out to our shows when the CD comes out!)

So there is the update and we're very excited! As with everything we do in this band, it's a complete DIY project so if you'd like to help us out, please purchase and download one of the songs from our profile. They are only $1 each and it would really help us speed things up in the studio!

You guys rock! Thanks for reading!

Love,

Pretty in Stereo XoXo
