........................
As Clayton mentioned in the previous blog, we
will be hitting the road starting on October 1st. What he didn't say was
that this three week excursion has a glorious name. And that name is the
PB&J ACROSS AMERICA TOUR! (We're poor and it's how we survive on the
road). Also, we have TWO CONTESTS in conjunction with the tour.
Twitter Contest:
-Get a NEW SONG for FREE (Paint the Night B-Side called "Victim of Suburbia") by following our band Twitter
account (www.twitter.com/standardoflivin) and tweeting the following phrase:
@standardoflivin Check out the PB&J Across America Tour this October. Dates
found here www.myspace.com/standardofliving Contests and More!!!
A link for the song will be sent to you.
Free E.P. Contest:
- Get a FREE COPY of our new E.P. "PAINT THE NIGHT" if you bring 3
more people with you to a show.
See you all soon

Obviously the last two blog entries are a little disheartening, but no worries, Standard of Living is continuing on as a band. Josh, Ken, and I are currently looking to replace our lost band members. We need a bassist that can sing, and a drummer whose is tight and plays to a click track. If you know anyone who is interested in making music their career, and wants to work hard to make it happen, let us know or have them contact us asap. We want to get back out on the road, keep writing, and keep pushing forward for all of you. We think we can make things happen, so don't be shy if you think there is someone out there that would fit the band.
Keep listening and stay tuned for more announcements
Thanks Clayton SOL
