The aptly titled “Coyote Kings’ Large Band Extravaganza!” is one large, loud, Blues-Rockin’ party! Following their critically acclaimed and widely popular “Feelin’ Lucky,” this second offering from Coyote Kings leaves no doubt that this pack of yoties is on a roll.

With live tracks showing just how much fun a CK show is, a few re-recordings of some Robin Barrett classics, and some brand new (and equally classic) smokers, Coyote Kings have cranked out another great CD of “Rockin’ Blues & Bluesy Rock ~ Smokin’ Hot!”

You want groove? Got it! You want well-crafted, really fun, (and sometimes very amusing) songs? Got ‘em! You want big fat meaty grooves? Yep, got ‘em! You want scorching guitars? Got them too! This CD is choc full of Bluesrock like you haven’t heard in years and these boys mean business when it comes to having fun. They’ll rock your socks off and leave you with a great big coyote smile on your face.

Barrett, Cook, Johnson, and Dallas have just plain done it again. And with the section work of The Howlin’ Horns and very special guests; Kenny “Slammer” Wilson, Professor Pete Crawford, Mark “The Doctor” Brown, John Farey, Greg Miner, and “The Queen Of Blue-eyed Soul” Michelle “Mush” Morgan, Coyote Kings’ Large Band Extravaganza! is well… a large, loud, Blues-rockin’ party… oh, and you’re invited!

Hey Everybody,

We told ya BIG things were coming this year, well... this is the first one!

Last fall Coyote Kings recorded live at Sapolil Cellars in Walla Walla, WA, USA. Many of you were there and it was a total blast! The joint was jumpin', the band was pumpin', the SRO crowd was HOT HOT HOT!

que sad music
Unfortunately, due to a digital disaster the recoding was ruined and the CD that was planned is not to be. Dark days indeed. Cry

What could we do... we know that so many of our friends have been  waiting for the CD and Coyote Kings surely don't want to disappoint (can't have it... wouldn't be a Coyote Kingsly thing to do), so we figured we'd better do it again! Only this time, bigger, better, and even more fun than the last time, so...

We just found out that "Feelin Lucky" has been nominated for the 2008 Empire Award for "Best Blues Album (Northwest)," by The Inland Empire Blues Society!

We are honored, flattered, humbled, grateful, and just plain pleased as punch!

Thank you, IEBS!!! We love Spokane and we'll be seeing you soon!

Hi all,

Here's an update on what's up with that little ol' band from The
Great Northwest, Coyote Kings:

1) We now have T-shirts! They're black with the Coyote Kings logo in
white. Nice heavy weight Ts and they really look sharp too. Stock is
limited, so they're only available at shows. Which brings me to the
next topic... (nice segue, eh?)

2) Here are a few of our upcoming shows (all with "The Queen of
Blue-eyed Soul" Michelle "Mush" Morgan)...

June 28: (yes this Saturday) 5 to 10pm Leukemia Benefit at Jack-Sons
Sports Bar in Richland, WA, USA. This is a double bill with The
Tricities own Black Cat Bone.

July 12: The 15th annual Ritzville Blues Festival, Ritzville, WA,
USA. 1:30pm on the Main Stage and 4pm in the Pastime. The festival
features 25 acts this year, with 2008 BMA award winner (best
Contemporary Blues album and Entertainer of the Year) Tommy Castro
headlining.

July 18: Sapolil Cellars' Sweet Onion Festival Kick-off, at Sapolil
Cellars on Main St in Walla Walla, WA, USA. I'm thinkin' we'll start
about 8pm. Great wine and great music will be enjoyed by all. The
house is gonna be ROCKIN!

July 19: The Walla Walla Sweet Onion Festival, 1st and Main, Walla
Walla, WA, USA. On the Main Stage with Dawg-On Cool Katz, & The Lloyd
Jones Struggle. The food... the wine... the music... gonna be a LARGE
TIME!!!

3) Feelin' Lucky is still doing well, selling like hotcakes at
shows, online, and in record stores everywhere, (if you don't see it
in your favorite record store, ask them to order it), and...
We're planning on recording a live CD early this fall after the
Summer concert season (more on this soon).

We hope to see you soon at one of our shows and we hope you have a
great Summer!
