At the end of this year SUBVERSIV*REC. will close down it..s business. The reason for this decission is based on different factors. I just want to mention the most important ones. First of all most of our shops and even distributors went bankrupt the last 2 years and we have to rebuild our distribution-situation.

We don..t have the time and energy to do that because Matt works fulltime besides the label & Vinylkingz and even me startet a full-time-job a month ago. The 2nd and more personal point was my declining interest in that kind of music and the wish to concentrate more on my own music in my spare time. Another point was the fact that i could not see any community or support/interest on the part of the listeners and even the artists anymore. A label should be more than releasing some records… i don..t want to blame some people but it can..t be that you pay a lot of money and spent a lot of time for a release and some artists do not even mention that release in their discography or even one single sentence …

However… at the moment i..m working on the idea of a new label in 2007, more familiar and consisting of only a handful and mostly exclusive artists who want to be a part of the building progress and not only beeing released. The new label is called COGNITIVE*DEFECT and it is concentrated on more electronical sounds and even on the organisation of live-appearances/events. It will be smaller and not as semi-professional as SUBVERSIV*REC.

We want to thank all of you guys for supporting us the last years and wish you the best. We..re going to sell our backstocks the next months so watch out for special offers and get one of the last SUBVERSIV*REC. releases.

We hope to have the chance to continue our work with affiliated artists and friends in the future.

The OFFBEATS 3.1 vinyl is canceled for now because of the lack of preorders and interest for this release. In case we can collect enough pre-orders we still want to put out that release... so pre-orders can be sent to info@offbeaters.com. We..ll see what happens...

The SUBVERSIV*REC. founder, Rushya and Gunporn producer Xndl presents his new album "still there" and once again a huge range of musical styles.

Mostly electronical and IDM influenced music but also analogue sample-based or even Breakcore/Techno influenced sounds can be found on his new album.

Once again affiliated artists are featured. Epic from Clotheshorse Rec (CA), Demune (Ponowai Flora/USA) and Time (USA) have contributed their iRaps for this album. There also can be found a remix project.Mr. Cooper (Wimm Rec) gave Xndl sounds for remixing one of his tracks

This CD contains 13 tracks + random bonus tracks.That means...SURPRISE!!! Some CDs contain the video to the song "on TV".

Everything is made by Xndl himself, the music the artwork,the mastering and even the manufaturing of the CD. There will be 3 different versions,every one handmade and limited to 111 copies.
