This isn’t the best place to try and do that.

Point being: none of the band members check the MySpace inbox or the comments, and even if they do, your worthy messages are drowned out by a sea of spam from bands and 14 year old girls and your best friend’s merch company. We’re very sorry.

The best form of contact is the band’s personal email addresses. If you know them, go that route. If not, Facebook is your friend.

Hello world,

It's late in the evening, and today has been an incredibly long day, but I felt the urge to update anyone who cares on what I've been doing with my life.

If you don't care. You can ignore the blog and pretend that this never happened.

----------------------------------
- I'm engaged. I'm getting married in approximately 36 days and 17 hours...is it sad I know it's that specific?

- I am in two music projects at the moment. And I am shamefully promoting both bands through FC's resources. Hope that's cool with you. It's pretty much the purpose of this blog.

The Twelfth Chapter is band number one. Fun pop rock type stuff. We have an EP being released on October 19th for no moneys. Free show on the 19th as well. Details here - http://www.myspace.com/thetwelfthchapter

Maida Vale is band number two. Folky, Indie, a little different from most music coming out of our town. We also have an EP that is out for sale now. It's a whopping $2.97 on iTunes. You should maybe buy it.

http://myspace.com/maidavalemusic - iTunes link here, as well.

It's already 33 on the Folk charts. We're competing against some guy named Bob Dylan? I'm not quite sure who he is. Was he in Genesis?

NO ONE WILL GET MY HUMOR.

And that's okay.

I hope at the very least, you were somehow challenged by Forever Changed. Even if our music crossed your mind once, and now you don't care about our band...I'm okay with that. I'm still sad that FC is no longer playing music, but I'm also very excited about my new opportunities that I would not have if FC was still around. So if you dig these new tunes, feel free to add the respective bands as your "friend" on MySpace, which has become a website I'm growing less familiar with. But you're here, and that's all that matters right now.

Goodnight, and God bless you.

Current mood:  accomplished

We just posted new pictures from some of our last shows!....Enjoy!

Saturday, June 10, 2006
All apologies the blog hasn't been updated sooner, life has been crazy for the four of us.

Thank you to everyone who made the last four shows so incredibly special! Honestly, there are no words that can fully describe how amazing those shows were. It was such a high for the four of us to see so many of you come out to the shows. For me it felt more like a reunion, or a return home from a long trip, rather than concerts. All of the shows had memorable moments that will never be forgotten. So those of you who came to Jacksonville, PC, Columbus, and Tallahassee--Thank You!

I can say with confidence that the last show in Tallahassee was our favorite show of all time. Everything was right, it was unbelievable. Looking back, it feels like a dream. The crowd had such a vibrance, an energy that blew us away. It was so loud, and so incredibly hot. I don't think we have ever sweat that much on stage! There were so many emotions running through the four of us, but at the end of the night we couldn't help but be filled with complete joy. There's nothing like having your favorite people all standing in one room together. To all of you who were there--you mean so much to us, and we want you to know that we love that you came.

Okay--enough sappy stuff. A few things I wanted to tell you guys is that WE ARE KEEPING OUR MYSPACE UP. The day we take it down is when people stop coming. Having said that, we will continue to keep you guys updated on what the four of us are up to. Another thing--we want you to send us any pictures you have of our farewell tour to put on this site!

Recently, we've had many people telling us what songs they want us to put up. So instead of us picking the songs, WE WANT YOU TO CHOOSE THE SONGS. So over the next week we want you guys to leave a reply telling us which 2 songs you want to hear, and whichever songs have the most replies we will put them up.

Last thing for now--thanks to all of you who have left such encouraging comments. You will never know how much your words and thoughts mean to us. We love you guys.

Until next time,
Dan & FC

Was incredible!

The shows started with an out-door event in O-Town, hangin' with Chris from N*Sync...well not really, although he was there at the concert. The show was so much fun, and it marked the first time our band has ever entered the stage to a DJ screaming "FO' CHANGY" over and over while rapping to Chingy. That was certainly a highlight of our musical career.

Sarasota followed the Orlando Crunk fest, and the show ended up being one of my personal favorites. The show had a great bill--Corey Crowder, The Chase Theory, and Woodale (also known as Pandora's Box). If you can picture a smokey bar filled with some of our favorite people rushing the tiny, crowded stage, screaming at the top of their lungs--that was Friday night.

We were welcomed with Cuban food and Chipotle in Ft. Lauderdale, so needless to say it was a great night! The guys and I ended up taking a much needed nap before the show, while Nick, Pandora's Box, and Corey's Kids fed their addictions and played a few rounds of poker. The concert itself was a blast. The stage was huge, giving us a lot more room to run around and act like idiots. Thank you to everyone who made this show so special for us.

Sunday was the final day for this run, and what better way to close than with Skyline Chili (it's funny how we've always said that our band talks about food more than any other thing...it's kind of pathetic really) After each of us ate 8 pounds of cheese, we hit the road for Lakeland. Again, a great line-up (The Vow, Bernard, Corey, and Woodale) There's nothing like a show where you enjoy every band. Beyond some sound problems, we played on and had a great time. It was a great way to end the weekend.

I don't think we fell asleep before 4am any one of these passed few nights; I don't think we really wanted to. There's been too much to talk about, too much to catch up on, and too much fun to be had. So again, (and again and again) thank you to everyone who made this passed weekend so amazing and so special. You will never know how much it means to us. We hope to see many of you this coming weekend as we hit the road again!

See you soon,
Dan

After about a year off, Cool Hand Luke is returning with an April headlining tour and plans to release a full-length album in the very near future on Floodgate Records.

I thought it might be appropriate to post this on our FC myspace for two reasons: one, CHL has been one of the greater musical and spiritual influences on our band, and two, I will be playing drums on their April tour as well as Cornerstone Florida. Mark will be mostly singing and playing piano.

If you'd like more information on CHL and/or the April tour, check out http://www.coolhandlukeonline.com or go to the Myriad's myspace page, who are on the tour as well. http://www.myspace.com/themyriad

thanks for reading,

First off,

I don't think I'll be able to explain how grateful all of us are to everyone's comments on the breakup news.  I wasn't sure what to expect for a reaction, but I know we're all really comforted by everyone's support.  So THANK YOU to everyone who has left us comments on myspace, emailed us, called us, hugged us, text-messaged us, and bought us coffee and blueberry muffins.

One thing I should probably note.  I know we've tried to reply to every email we've been receiving, but to those of you who have sent us messages on this myspace account, you may want to redirect your messages to our personal email addresses since none of us ever log into our myspace account.  The email addresses are on our website.

I think there's still a little bit of confusion as to what's next for all of us.  As most of you may know, we've been spending the last three months writing material for a new record, and we still have every intention on recording and releasing that record even though we are breaking up.  It's mainly a farewell gift for any fan who wants it.  We're currently in the studio recording the eleven-song album entitled "Chapters" which will be released as early as the beginning of May.  The album will ONLY be available at our farewell shows, through mail-order, and through iTunes download.  Unfortunately, you won't be able to find it in any stores.  Quantities will be limited, and once the albums are gone, they will not be re-printed.  So when pre-orders become available, don't be left without this limited edition farewell album!

Recording has gone wonderful so far.  We're recording with Jeremy Griffith (of Moments In Grace) at this awesome beachside studio in St. Augustine, FL.  We've tracked all of the drums and bass.  Ben's currently laying down all of his hot-lick guitar tracks, and everything's sounding really really good!  Try to imagine those studio shots you see of Dr. Dre and Eminem bobbin' their heads to some hot track behind a giant mixing board...that's pretty much the vibe of our sessions.

There's been a lot of questions about our farewell dates.  Unfortunately, the farewell dates are only being held in Florida and Georgia.  If you live anywhere nearby and you'd like to make it out to the shows, we'll have addresses posted so you can mapquest directions.  We WILL be playing Cornerstone Florida, and the dates listed on our website are not all 100% confirmed.  There are still a few more to be posted.

For those wondering about our Tallahassee show.  It has been rescheduled and will be updated soon.  It will not be on the 27th of May.  We want to pick a weekend where there's not a lot final school-year events.  And we also want our very last show to be in Tallahassee.

I'll be writing more updates soon.  Thanks for reading, and be blessed!

-Nathan
