Debra Arlyn Portland EP Release Show FRI OCT 30TH

Save this date - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30TH - and plan on spending it with the Debra Arlyn Band at Jimmy Maks in Portland!

There are a few reasons why you should attend this show:

1. We will be celebrating the digital release of my BRAND NEW EP "The Get Ready EP"! The EP features 5 brand new songs that I recently recorded - and I want you to have them. At the show we will be selling download cards that you can quickly redeem for a full-album download, by starting a customer account @ CDBABY.COM! You will be able to download the songs from my websites (debraarlyn.com & myspace.com/debraarlyn and iTunes).

2. Another reason I hope you can make it is - this will be my last show for awhile. After this show I will be taking a break from performing and focusing solely on scoring the music for an upcoming documentary, which I am very excited about! As of now I have no other shows booked...so I would hate for you to miss this last show!

Debra's Song is Top 3 FINALIST in John Lennon Song Contest!

Hi -

Wanted to share some exciting news with you! I was just informed that my song "Tell Me Now" is a Top 3 Finalist in the 2009 John Lennon Song Contest, for the Pop Category!

The John Lennon Songwriting Contestis an international songwriting contest that began in 1997. The Contest is open to amateur and professional songwriters.

Natasha Bedingfield, The Black Eyed Peas, The Bacon Brothers, Ken Komisar and The Veronicas are some of the Judges - and to know they were apart of deciding the Finalist and Winners is a great feeling, especially since I admire much of their work!

It looks like I will be receiving some very cool prizes shortly, including a new iPod -- which is something I very much need! Ha ha.

My Song on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" on the E! Network

Hi Friends!

Just wanted to let you know my song "Worth the Wait" was recently in an episode of the E! tv show "Keeping up with Kardashians".

The episode ran last month, and was titled "Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder".

My tune softly played in the backround as Kim and her boyfriend Reggie Bush snuggled on the couch. Cute! Ha ha

I was really happy they chose my song, it's always a thrill to hear your song on television.

Check out the episode on repeat if you can.

Debra Arlyn @ Jimmy Maks in Portland, May 15th!

I'm excited to say that The Debra Arlyn Band will be returning home for a show at Jimmy Maks on FRIDAY, MAY 15TH!

I am looking forward to playing in Portland again - especially since we just finished a California/Nevada tour - and this month we're going to Alaska!

Watch Debra Arlyn on Comcast On Demand!

Hi Guys -

I'm excited to say that you can now watch the Debra Arlyn Band performance from the Portland Music Awards right now- it's available to all Comcast customers through their FREE OnDemand service.

You can watch three features, they are:

1. The 2+ hour award show (of which we performed in the middle of the show.)

2. The red carpet and media room interviews (where they interviewed the band)

3. Lastly...our very own BONUS song performed by Debra Arlyn & company at the end of the show!

Debra's Birthday Show Feb. 27th - Be there!

Hey!

I invite you to celebrate my "Birthday Bash" with me on Friday February 27th at Jimmy Maks In Portland, hosted by Homeslice Music and Jimmy Maks.

This will be my 24th birthday (so you know I will be drinking ALL night looong ha ha) The Debra Arlyn Band will perform, also performing is Seattle's emerging star Vicci Martinez, and the soulful Jacob Merlin Band.

My good friend Paul from Intervision will come sing a duet with me and possibly the original horn player from The Temptations, Mic Gillette, might sit in for a few tunes that evening.

Music Awards that are happening Thursday January 29th at the Crystal
Ballroom! Not only can you attend the event -- you can VOTE!

I have been nominated for 'Best Female Artist' and would appreciate your vote.
