This is just a little post to let you know that we've decided to call it a day.

We won't be playing anymore and aren't planning to release any new material. We've tried to make it work a second time and it just doesn't feel right so we've agreed to let it lie.

Thank you to everyone who has come to see us play, bought our records and listened to us. You're an enthusiastic bunch and we love you dearly.

We'll be using this space to inform you of any new bands we form, blogs we write or news of what we'll be doing next.

So 2008 is coming to a close and everyone is in the thick of festive glee. As you sit down with your loved ones and tuck into your Christmas dinner, be sure to spare a thought for those who were unable to witness The V.C.s' earth-shattering comeback gig. Not all are as lucky as you who joined us, having had your Christmas a whole six days early! We salute you all and wish you a very Jolly Yuletide.

After returning earlier in the year, beginning our recordings, allowing our video technicians access to film us in our natural habitat and bursting back on stage it's been a busy year for us. Not one's to rest our motor mechanisms, we'll be out in force in 2009 with a brand new album and shows in Spring. Keep your eyes peeled, rinsed and pointing in our general direction.

We'd like to pass on our season's greetings in audio form, and what better way than to give you a song to download for free! As a taster for the delights to come in 2009, here's our brand new recording of "In The Future" to wrap your lug sockets round. Enjoymass!

The V.C.s perform their first live gig after a two year absence on Friday 19th December 2008.


After getting back together earlier in the year, it seemed only a matter of time before we bit the bullet and headed back to gigging. We are now officially accepting bookings requests from events organisers, so if you want us at your party then give us a shout!

As for our first live performance this year, we couldn't think of a nicer place to stage it than Wigan Premier Drinking Establishment; The Tudor House. Expect some new material, some old material and a planet load of Christmas cheer!
