Thanks again to all who came down to our album launch last weekend. Was a great night and fantastic to see such a strong and enthusiastic crowd. With horns, keys and 3 guitars it really did have the feel of a small orchestra on stage. It was our first experience of creating a wall of sound and hope to do it again soon after all the positive feedback. Special thanks goes to Luke Rinaldi and everyone at the Rosey, Matt Gio, X-Press, RTR FM, College Fall, My Mad Flow, Long Gone Midnight, and also to Firestarter Distribution for being kind enough to distribute our record. We had another gig playing a private party for Halloween over the weekend. I dressed as 'The Joker' from The Dark Knight and Wayne dressed as Frankenstein. Must have been quite a sight while we were playing. Luckily I didn't take to the character too much and didn't blow up the place. As fun as that would be, buying new gear is expensive. Not to mention all the death. Really don't want that on my conscience. We have more gigs coming up soon so keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned. In the meantime feel free to buy a copy of our album 'Chasing Knives' here http://www.waterfrontrecords.com/releases/releases.asp?Action=DisplayProduct&ProductID=74469 , from all good stores that stock Firestarter Distribution releases, or from iTunes. Cheers, Lee and Bravo Inferno

Howdy, We have recently decided on the cover for our album 'Chasing Knives' due out on October 19th. We think it's intriguing. We are so excited about it we made it our profile pic and laced the background of our MySpace with it. Also, below are some words about the release that will be going in the Firestarter Distribution catalogue about the release. Launch is one month today.... The countdown is on. Cheers, Lee and Bravo Inferno Enlightened by a set of influences from British Pop/Rock, through to American DIY underground rock, and good old Australian electric guitar rock, Bravo Inferno's debut album 'Chasing Knives' is a textured album of melodious indie rock compositions. At it's heart, 'Chasing Knives' is a guitar based album, but with the songs laced with horns, piano and mellotron sounds the Perth band have forged tunes ranging from tense and urgent to dense and melancholy. Expertly recorded with Matt Gio (who has recently worked with many of Perth's up and coming acts including Harlequin League, Voltaire Twins, and Boom! Bap! Pow!), the record is deliberately not "slammed" at the mastering stage so that the songs have definition and dynamic. With no care for fads or indie chic, Bravo Inferno have lovingly crafted an album simply because they want to create. What better reason is there?

Just for kicks over the last 10 months we have been recording and re-recording what will be our debut album. It is a labour of love and we are looking forward to letting it breathe. As well as the normal essentials you hear on an indie/rock album (guitar, bass, drums) there are also cameos from keyboards, horns, mellotron and string sounds. Overall we have aimed for a fuller and more engaging sound that will provide some aural delights.
'Chasing Knives' will be available nationally as of the 19th of October at all good record stores through Firestarter distribution and through iTunes. To celebrate we are having a launch gig at The Rosemount Hotel in North Perth on Saturday the 24th of October.
More news on the launch and the album itself soon.....
Cheers - Lee and Bravo Inferno

We probably aren't too good at keeping our MySpaces up to date so here are a few words (some short, some long) to attempt to keep you all updated as to what is happening with all things Bravo Inferno. Recording - We are about 60% through recording our debut album. It is self-financed and will be self-released. It is our labour of love. It will be indie, it will be epic, it will be crunchy, it will be tender. It tells a story but that's a secret. At this stage it looks to be released later this year with the first taste in the form of a downloadable single available in late May-ish. What No Bass? - Our bass player Christiaan is leaving the band to go gallivanting around Scandavia chasing blonde women who speak a derivative of German. We bid farewell to him with a gig at the Swan Basement on Saturday the 4th of April. Good times will be had by all. Hopefully we won't all be throwing up still after seeing the Pauline Hanson nude pics that just surfaced. Honestly, who cares about that woman anymore?
Cheers for reading, Lee and the fellas
