A message from the Band:
Friends & fans,
Many of you have been wondering about things happening in The Vanished camp. This announcement is to share our thoughts with you and keep you in the light of where we are going.
First, please read the following letter from Dallas Perry (guitarist):
I just wanted to say thank you for four years worth of good times and incredible memories with The Vanished! Changes in life over the past year have made it necessary for me to leave the band. While this has not been an easy decision to make, I feel it's the best thing for me and my brothers in the band. You should know that this is happening on the best of terms, and that the band and I are both moving on with each other's blessings.
I will never forget the four years (ten years for Kevin & I!) of trials we've endured, successes we've achieved, and most of all, good times we've had playing music for you. For me, nothing will ever take it's place – nothing ever could. But for me, and for the band, this is not an end – but simply the beginning of a new chapter. You've got your first chance to see & hear for yourself on Friday August 1 at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth!
For those who are inclined, I must tell you I don't check my myspace ever, so don't send any messages there. Let's talk at a Vanished show instead…
