MIDDLE CLASS TRASH:
Side Effects: 7"
This is some fairly raging, snotty hardcore punk from this ........Kentucky band. It is not quite as strong as Funeral Shock, but mines similar territory. The single reminded me of the Pink Lincolns in some places with some melodic, but snotty, parts. Good, solid hardcore punk with a download card for digital representation. The band has a full-length album out as well that I’m interested in hearing to see how they translate in more than just a few songs. Good stuff from an out of the way spot. –Mike Frame (Broadcast Interrupted Media)

Middle Class Trash – “Side Effects EP” (Broadcast Interrupted Media) – This three song EP is a gritty explosion of piss and vinegar hardcore street punk. Lyrically the song “Anyone but me” is pure gold that I could listen to over and over again. It covers the ridiculous state of some people’s obsession with vanity and body enhancements. Each of the songs is great and aimed at a particular subject that you can tell is deep to their hearts. One thing that I noticed about “Side Effects” is that the guys in the band really have seemed to tighten their mastery of their instruments and the lead guitar adds some great dimensions to this EP with some really catchy riffs. If you’re sick on the insincere cookie cutter music out right now grab this EP, you won’t be disappointed. - Johnny Taint

Well, got a couple of udates.  We've got a new sticker up in the store.  It features the fighter jets from the front of our EP.  Also, we're going to start recording our next record soon!  It will be a full length but we don't know how many songs yet.  I promise it will be more than the last one, though!

We've got a facebook now.  Come over and be friends with us.  It's much more personal than myspace and we like that.  As far as news, we're getting material ready to head into the studio later this year.  We're hoping to have a new, full-length record out by April.  We'll be self-releasing it just like the last two unless something changes.
TTFN!

Middle Class Trash's new 3 song vinyl 7" does much better with consistency as it relates to putting out a fully valuable EP.

This Kentucky four piece punk band features streamlined punk, with a political and social agenda. MCT drives a hard earful of "what you need to know" punk rock that falls somewhere between Black Flag and Zeke.

Coming in at under nine minutes total for the three songs, it's easy to find yourself flailing any available limb while screaming at somebody else, anybody, for being a dumbass.

This EP is fast, loud and easy to anger, as the three songs become loose grenades in your mind, able to blow up and cause serious head thrashings at any given time.

Well here goes folks...... After our 11 day tour we came home broke and without a bass player.  Our bass player decided it would be best to part ways mid tour. Alcohol and logic don't mix! Regardless, we finished as a 3 piece and now that we are home we're currently looking for the next addition to our project. If you or anyone you know is a bassist that is willing to play and travel please let us know. Anyway, all our shows were good. I just got the test pressings in today for our new record.  I'm excited as all fuck to release this bad boy.  The record will include a free digital mp3 download thing which is cool for all you fucks without record players (seriously, get with the 1900's).  The jackets are coming off the press as we speak.  Well, they're coming off the Xerox machine at BlueGrass Downs because we're poor and paid for the records and made the jackets ourselves.  Anyway, trying to think of a cool charity to donate half of the proceeds to.  Any ideas?
Let me know.
