The Pulpit EP

It's sexy garage punk from Dublin; and it's fucking good!
Seductive vocals and songs that take you back in time to a better age in music, The Pulpit know exactly what they're doing. This is a remarkable debut EP from a band that I knew nothing about.

Said EP contains three tracks, with so much going on in each that it's hard to keep up. Opener 'Political Correctness Gone Mad' takes a steamy number-two on aspiring indie bands across the country, yet it sounds like the band can play it with their eyes closed. 'Love Is Denied' is a stunner that reminds me of The Cardigans while closing track 'Paula' is surf rock at the sexiest level.

This band needs more attention. Let's give it to them.

All three tracks off the EP are currently streaming on the band's myspace. The CD is available at their gigs and on their online store.

Yes,

We have three studio recordings up now.

'Political Correctness Gone Mad'.
-Our best attempt at a two minute song about contemporary society.

'Love Is Denied'.
-The obligatory plaintive love song.

'Paula'.
-Well. It's a rock song isn't it?

Let us know what you think.

God Bless,
Enjoy

Greetings, true believers!

The Pulpit are to make an appearance on a balcony overlooking Dame Street, and to spread the good news to the bad people of Dublin.  We will be filming a public service announcement on Sunday, February 1st.  This message will then be broadcast (probably at a later date) all over the sin-ternet. Hopefully it will save a few wayward lambs.

May the light of Our Lord blind your sodomite enemies.
