We all know him...Mr. Scott Weiland. He's an icon. He's a mystery. He's a train wreck. Now whichever one of those hats he chooses to wear at Radio104.5's Holiday Bizarre...well, your guess is as good as ours. But, you know, that's the beauty of Scott. You never know. The one thing you do know is when he gets a hold of that microphone he is an untouchable force. If you havent seen him before prepare to be knocked back a few feet. If you have...you know what we mean. There is something about him that makes the sound of sex, fear, passion, anger, and power all at the same time. He is quite a "show" himself.
But let's not forget...
Make room for Airborne Toxic Event and The Ting Tings! They may be new to you but soon to become a fast favorite.
It all goes down this Sunday at The TLA-The Radio104.5 Holiday Bizarre!

It is just at this point that we have been able to collectively catch our breath and say
"Wow...did that just happen?"

As soon as we saw you waiting at the gates to come in at 1:00 we knew it was about to take off. And it did! Literally thousands of you turned out to catch:
All Or Nothing -last year's winner of The Battle of The Garage Bands, destined for more
Desoto Jones -sweating and bleeding (literally) through the set, now that's 'rock'
Carolina Liar -absolutely owned the stage and a few new fans
Local H - still a two man band, still amazing
Candlebox - who knew they could still kill it, just like they did over 10 years ago??
---and who caught the stage dive off their set? classic.

And hats off to ALL of you that donated to the raffle for the Ibanez guitar signed by all the bands! You ended up with a grand total of over $600 that went directly to PAWS , a local animal shelter. Rest assured you saved some lives! Troy of Blue Bell, had the winning ticket and what do you know...he plays guitar in a band.

Sweet.

All in all, it was a perfect day. The sun was shining. The music was loud. We caught up with some old friends and met some new ones. Thanks for coming out. Thanks for pushing up to the front of the stage, screaming at the top of you lungs, and dancing in the aisles.

You looked good out there..here's the proof.

Hey Radio 1045 friends-

My name's Johnny - one of the people serving up the tunes for you on Radio 1045.    If you haven't checked out Band Of Horses CD "Cease To Begin".   Please do your ears and soul a favor and check it.

It's kind of like magic.

It's truly inspired

It sounds good too.

Seriously, we hear a lot of music, but rarely does a band break through the way "Band Of Horses" do.     You may have already heard "Is There A Ghost" played, but that is just the beginning.  The entire CD is solid.

Would love to know what you think!

Thanks for listening.
