Earlier in 2008, Nicholas Bullen was asked to contribute to the Active Cancellation radio programme curated by Cyrk on the Resonance FM radio station.

The result ('Alienist Plays Monium for Active Cancellation') is a spliced mix of live improvisations recorded by Alienist and Black Galaxy (featuring Simon Mabbott) during 2007 at Art Basel, the I.C.A., Cube Cinema and Sonar festival.

The recording is now available for free download as an MP3 from the Cyrk website (which also contains programmes  by LGamble, GX Larsen, William Bennett and others):

Black Galaxy return from a self-imposed year-long hiatus with a remix for Iroha.

Andy Swan (Iroha) and Nicholas Bullen have known each other since they produced 'Power Electronics' and experimental sound recordings together in 1983 as part of Final (with Justin Broadrick). The remix will reflect Black Galaxy's focus on rhythm.

The Iroha album will be released by Invada records and also features remixes by Justin Broadrick (Jesu / Final) and Transitional.
