We're unable to update the website because Sean's computer died and went to computer heaven, so here's a little bit of what's going on these days:
The record is finished. We went in last week and had Britt Daniel (the genius behind Spoon) add some backing vocals to "The Party Line" (which sounds much better than the version on here) and then we ran it right over to get mastered by Jim Wilson at Yes Mastering. The album is now completed, all ten glorious songs of it. Now we just have to go through all the label-related hoopla before we can release it...But trust us when we say it's never been better.
Speaking of label-related hoopla, be sure to check us out on the Tight Spot Records webpage (http://www.tightspotrecords.com) where we've gotten the royal welcome.
We have only one show scheduled for the next month as we're busy writing the next batch of material. But don't worry; we'll be playing so many times during SXSW you'll want to vomit.
We'd also like to take a moment to remember our friend and fan Pandora Hastings, who passed away earlier this week. Pandora was the first regular DJ at our monthly club night Disco Hospital and always a vocal supporter of whatever scene she happened to be in. She will be missed.
That's it. See you soon.
