Here's a thought for today, a little something to contemplate:
"PROGRESS IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT CHANGE, AND THOSE WHO CANNOT CHANGE THEIR MINDS, CANNOT CHANGE ANYTHING." (GEORGE BERNARD SHAW)

Peace and love my family
Thank you all for taking your time out of your busy day to listen to the music, and reading the blog. While we are in the month of rememberance for Dr. King, I would want to share some words and thoughts. I'll open with this question, Are you willing to stand and fall if nesscessary for your dreams? When we look at the "conditioning" of people through public education and corporate media, we are taught to put our dreams on the back burner, meanwhile using our minds and energy to futher advance the dreams of others. I would even go as far as saying that most of our dreams are not our own. The average youth I speak to dream to entertain the world through music and sports. When considering the salary earned by a successful musician and athlete, it's understandable why the kids dream those dreams. Are these dreams from within or "conditioned dreams" meaning dreams developed by circumstance? Dr. King dreams were aimed at moving a society forward at a time when the mass were conditioned to be seperated. He didn't dream for the big cars, or the million dollar mansions; although, he had the gift, wisdom, charisma, and passion to get anything he desired. He dreamt of a better day for the people and lost his life in the process. He saw love as the tool to conquer and break a system conditioned with hate. That's a serious dream. How many of our dreams are directed at affecting or impacting the greater society? Please comment with your response.

Peace and much love my family
Thank you for taking your time out to read my blog, watch the videos posted, and listening to my music. The day gives us 24 hour and taking a minute aside for me very much appreciated. Today I want to talk about a word that is packed with meaning and action. Responsibiltiy. This word is often overlooked as many people chooses to divorce themselves from this word. The idea of Adam as the first man was giving responsibility over the earth. He had to name things and help it maintain its order. Now, the modern day Adam barely takes responsibility for his or her action. We have surrender the responsibility of our communities to government institution. We have forward the responsibility of educating our children to government schools, and television. At what point do we stand and begin to take responsibility for our action, the education of our children, and the development of our communities. What's happened along our journey of government conditioning that made us take this word so lightly. If there is a single word I could encourage for 08, it will be responsibility. We have to be more responsible for our action and behavior. Being responsible reminds us that our words, our action carries positive and negative consequences. What we say or do can positively or negatively affect the minds and action of many. Lets look at the last eight years for America, would you rank the adminstration as being responsible? Let look at our individual lives. Are we the captins of our responsibilities. Are we doing the best we can to move our children, our communities and ourselves forward. Challenge yourself this year with this powerful word and the year will end with positive results. As always, peace and love to my people.
As always, I leave you with a little present off of my album entitled "Walk Away". It highlights the topic of discussion.

Peace and much love my fam;
I know it's been a minute since I posted a blog and I appreciate everyones patience in this I have been super busy lately. I would like to speak on being sociable in other words speaking to each other. We have taotally lost the basic ability to speak to each other, just basically saying Hi, How are you doing, good morning, good afternoon, opening the door for someone all of these things have been lost with the times. I cannot tell you how many times I have spoken to someone on the streets and they either looked at me strange or just turned their head and kept walking. And this is the south you know southern hospitality and all that where did it go? Is it because the media has gotten the people so scared and paranoid that they lost basic human principles our humanity is at stake and we go about our lives as if it is just mondane. Our lives have lost meaning we just squeak by daily placing no importance on anything besides our living and we call that life. I encourage everyone to try to break the cycle of hatred that has been encode in our very being. When you are out on the street just make it a point to speak to at least 5 people that you don't know just good mornong , good afternoon etc. and after that try 10 and so forth and so on. we don't care as much about our fellow man anymore and it is because we have been led to believe that he is a criminal or a terrorist. We are living in fear of our brothers and sisters, being held captive by paranoia and pannic. Welcome to the New World Order ladies and gentlemen..............Please comment back to have open dialogue on this subject as you input is very valuable to me.

Peace and much love my fam,
I would like to thank everyone for their support and those that took time out of their days to read and comment on the blog. I appreciate it. I would like to discuss the visible and psychological problems that exist in our communities. So many of our great leaders dedicated their time, and some their lives to bring about a change in our broken communities. There is a cycle of poverty that plagues the conscious of the people and this cycle must be broken. Malcolm X (R.I.P) verbalized the problem nearly 50 years ago, and still the same problems exist today. At what point do we begin to draw solutions for change? Hip Hop is a strong enough weapon and voice for calling to the attention of many problems and issues that exist in our community. As 2008 approaches, we have to begin to challenge those negative vices that are destroying our communities. We have to create the balance for our children and re-introduce the concept of the village. Why are we waiting for others to fix and handle our problems? Here is a challenge for anyone that's frustrated and tired of the current destruction taking place in their community. Locally, we have organized a massive monthly community clean up. One day out of a month is our challenge to the world. On this day, we organize teams from various "Hoods" to do a massive clean up. By this, we are encouraging the community to stand up and become responsible for what goes on there, and stop surrendering their/our power to the Police department and all of these other agencies that profits off of the community's destruction. After the massive clean up, we organize a community meeting and encourage all the members of all the differnt Hoods to begin dialogue and discussing solutions for change. Please spread this idea and challenge other MC, Poets, entertainers, bloggers so that they can spread the message. We CAN and have the POWER to change our communities for the better and stop depending on others to change it for us. This is Ishues signing off. Peace and love my people.
