Surefire plays Seton Hall University tonight, kicking off a number of spring college shows leading up to the release of their self-titled debut album on April 28, 2009. The album was co-produced by frontman Ben Rice and legendary rock producer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones) and will be available worldwide via iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Rhapsody.

In the coming weeks stay tuned for the newly re-designed Surefire website, the music video for Surefire's first single "Comeback Kid" as well as a New York City record release party!

These shows are part of the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life initiative to honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives lost to the disease, and raise money to help fight cancer.

Work is complete on Surefire'sdebut album and details are being sorted for an early 2009 release. Two songs "Comeback Kid" and "The Mountain" are streaming on myspacenow for your listening pleasure. 

Surefire will be playing a one off at Pratt University on October 3rd with their friends Hymns (www.myspace.com/hymnsband) and The Postelles (www.myspace.com/thepostelles).  The free festivities start at 5pm and Surefire hit the stage at 7pm sharp.

SUREFIRE are set to support classic rockers America this Sunday at Pier 54 on the Hudson River in New York City. The show is part of Men's Health Magazine's Urbanathlon. SUREFIRE hit the stage right after America at at 1pm, followed by their friends Stylofone.

SUREFIRE are set to bid farewell to CBGBs as part of the M.E.A.N.Y. Fest Special Guest Show on Tuesday, September 26th. Also on the bill are Crew Doo (The Rolling Stones crew band) and The Bon Savants. The show is 16+, so be sure to come and catch the guys rock CBGBs.
