Current mood:  busy
Trying to keep up with so many things gives me little time to get to things like the MySpace blog.  I've got a few minutes, so here's what's new around here:

This week, we've been shipping The Mummy.  Also going out this week is the Mini Flying Sub set, Mini Robot, and the Mk II Iron Man.

Just got back last week from the Licensing Show out in Vegas.  We're looking at a few new licenses, so we should have some interesting things to announce soon!  I think you'll be surprised in what we have working for 2010!

Club Moebius.  Just about ready.  I know we have been saying this for a while now, but it seems like everything is finally together and about ready to put out there.  Just want to make it as interesting as possible.

San Diego.  I'll be there, but not with a booth.  They tell me there's about a 2-3 year waiting list to get in.  If anyone is intersted, I may plan something one afternoon that week to get some people together.  Maybe another bagged show kit like FX.  We'll see!

It was so nice to see so many well wishers on my birthday!  All I can say is "Thanks", and that I really appreciate it!

Current mood:  working

As many of you have heard or seen, there is a slight problem with "tire burn" and the Chariot.  We have found the cause, and it has to do with the way metallic styrene is produced.  We will no longer produce this kit in metallic, but in a neutral gray so as to avoid the problem.  Rubber/vinyl parts will also be packed alone so no contamination can be possible.

Replacement parts should be here any day for this.  Please let me know if you need them, and we will get them right out to you.  We have had very few reports of severely damaged kits, but it is possible the longer they sit the more damaged they can become.  Please check any kits ASAP to avoid future problems.  Thanks for your understanding in this!

Current mood:  anxious

It's been so long since I posted anything, just thought I'd get a few of the frequently asked questions out of the way!

Big Frankie has been held up.  Universal has asked us to conduct product safety testing.  Almost done.  Should be leaving China soon!

Invisible Man is leaving China this upcoming week.  A coupld of weeks and he'll be in.

Monster Scenes should still be late September the way it looks.  Cross your fingers nothing else delays them!

A lot of you have seen this already, but here is the link to it:

Dave Merriman's RC conversion should be ready sometime soon and available through Caswell Plating.  Looks like it would be fun to drive this thing with the virtual goggles and video equipment that will also be available!  DVD should be available as well showing complete build and operation.

Please note this is a long video, but small in size.  It may seem like it's not loading, but it just takes a few minutes depending on connection.

Yes, it is true.  We have licensing from Universal to put this back out.  No, it's not a joke, look for it later this year.  We still have a small approval process to go through, but it shouldn't be a problem!  No specific date or pricing, we should have that out in our February release info.  After NY Toy Fair, we will be announcing the rest of the 2008 line.  Happy New Year's!

Here's a sneak peak at Chris White's artwork for the upcoming Seaview kit. The kit is on track for a fall release. You already know the kit will be /128 scale and 39 inches long.  It will also feature the Flying Sub with stand, Mini Sub, Diving Bell, and four crew figures.

The Seaview is the first kit produced by Moebius Models as part of their agreement with Synthesis Entertainment. Look for other models from Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants, and Time Tunnel.

Hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday.  Just one update on the page today, new pictures of the Chariot.  Very close to completion.  Some of the latest fixes were unnecessary and changed what were correct details of the original prototype.  We should have more updates soon, as this should have been completed before the Space Pod.
