The Noisettes current album ‘Wild Young Hearts’ has happily earned itself a coveted place inside the top 20 of The Times Top 100 albums of the year. Firm supporters of the band from day one those discerning types at The Times are loving this second album and go on to say that ‘Wild Young Hearts “could serve as a primer in how to tip your hat at the charts while retaining everything — not least Shingai Shoniwa’s compelling vocal presence — that made you so cherishable initially”. To check out the full list of albums getting the nod head here.

Capital Radio’s infamous annual Jingle Bell Ball takes place this Saturday December 5th & Sunday December 6th at London's O2 Arena. Each year the event attracts some of the biggest names in music and after The Noisettes wowed just about everybody at the station’s Summertime Ball earlier this year Capital invited the band to perform again on the first night of these massive gigs. It’s going to be a good one and also set to perform are the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Taio Cruz, US star Jordin Sparks & Lilly Allen to name a few. Needless to say the tickets sold out long ago but there is still a chance you could be there by tuning into Capital where they are giving away tickets every day. Head over to Capital http://www.capitalfm.com/ to find out how you can get your hands on a pair
