What up peeps!  It's Jeff... and thank YOU for checking out this blog...

Let's just clear up some rumors going around that Red Tape has broke up. NOPE.   Long story short... In addition to guitar/vox in Red Tape, I started singing for my brothers Will Haven back in January.  Next thing ya know, there's these announcements & interviews popping up on the net saying, "Jaworski, EX-Red Tape" or "formerly of..."  The truth is, I never quit RT!  I don't know where the confusion started, but I'm clearing it up know.  Anyone who has looked at our myspace page could see that we've kept busy playing shows & filming a new video.  So there you have it... I'm a band whore in 2 bands now.  Deal.

For those of you interested in the long-story, here's what happened...  Back in December, Will Haven found themselves with a new record deal, recording a new album, and an offer to tour Europe with Deftones for 3 weeks... but NO SINGER.  Grady decided to quit the band (again) to focus on his family life & career.  Once again they called on me to fill in.  I've known the Haven dudes since before we were all in bands & we've all been roommates at one time or another.  Plus I've filled-in on bass on a previous tour, and did some back up vocals on their "WHVN" album.  I'm damn familiar with their songs & consider myself a fan! They actually asked me to join the 1st time Grady quit back in 2003, but I turned it down since Red Tape was super busy.  Now, things were kinda chill with RT and I agreed to fill in for the Europe tour.  I was already writing new songs for RT, so when they asked if I would sing on their album it was a no-brainer.  I finished writing the RT songs ("Droves" & "War Torn") & treatment (script / plot) for the "El Salvador" video, then went to work on the new Will Haven album.  I had 2 months to write & record a whole album!  Not to mention, learn all their old stuff and play a few shows before we left for Europe.

Miraculously, it's all working out!  With the sad exception of having to cancel a RT show on 3/17 to finish recording (so fucking sorry about that, but thanks to DISEPTIKONS for stepping in!)  The Will Haven Europe tour kicked ass!  I was lucky enough to have about 50 copies of "Urban Decay" to hand out to RT fans abroad. Now that I'm back home, I'm playing shows in both bands and continuing to write RT & WHVN songs.  We plan to put out a new RT album this year.  The "El Salvador" video is being edited and we should have it ready by the end of this month.  The new Will Haven album with me on vocals is called "The Hierophant" and comes out June 19!

Thanks to everyone who participated (and offered to participate) in the EL SALVADOR video shoot!!!   The shoot went awesome & we are stoked that we were able to get it all done in one day!!  We lucked out on the weather too!  

The Victor, Josephina, & folks at Rancho Mi Sueno were soooo damn cool!! Love you!!  Our director Todd Wilber kicked ass all day, with hardly a break.   I can't wait to get the footage edited & release the video!!  

A special thanks to Mr El Salvador himself, James Barrera.  James hooked up the Ranch, our leading lady Roxanna, and brought out some tough bandito dudes as well.   He kicked ass on the whip & lasso stunts & was extremely helpful in planning the whole day.  BIG thanks to Mitch & Chief for bringing weapons & taking pictures... Mitch was badass as our head Bandit!!  Thanks to Rodge for doing some extra filming, hanging out all day, and for his role as a bandit!!  Thanks to Tim, Rick, Angela, Cassie, Xavier, Miguel, Armando, Twig, Scott,  Chris & his 2 homies (sorry i gotta get your names again!), and BIG thanks to Brad for letting Mitch saw his head off!!! 

Me and Todd hope to have the footage ready in about a month or so.  It will be released online, to public access, and will appear on the upcoming Red Tape DVD.

We had to postpone our West Coast tour scheduled for the end of April... but we'll still be making the trek this summer!

We're still holding off on putting out the live DVD, until we complie all the footage with each lineup -it's a lot of footage!   Plus we plan to do 1 more video for the song "El Salvador", which will appear on the DVD.  We hope to have it ready for release around the time we put out our full-length album, later this year!

Jesse has rocked it in a number of great Sacto HC bands including Biscuit, DISEPTIKONS (with Twig & J.D.), Hoods, and more. He's also a dope-ass artist over at Bonehead Tattoo. On guitar, Jesse shreds like a punk-metal guru! Jesse's 1st show will be on 4/22 at The Boardwalk. What up kids.... It's Jeff. Hey, sorry we haven't updated in daaaaays... but 4 drummers, 1 guitar player, a van, 1 dead deer, 2 managers, a record release, and countless shows and tours later we needed a f**king break! It seems so long ago, but RADIOACTIVIST has been out for exactly 1 year now (well 1 year and 2 days). Much has ccoured since Feb 10, 2004... and a small fraction of it was captured on video. So I spent the last couple of weeks getting some footage together. Yeah, I been planning this one for a while... but this time we're really on to something! We should have a full DVD 2004 Red Tape retrospective ready soon. There's no release date yet, but it will most likley be around the same time the EP comes out this year. Speaking of the EP, we're a little behind schedule on that, yea. We're lazy ok. To add to that, I been working 2 jobs & 7 days a week to make up for going broke after our last couple of tours... those came out-of-pocket yo! Plus, we're still jamming with Pepper (drummer ..5!) to get him up to speed so we can start playing some shows again! That's coming along nicely. What sucks is that Mark Meraji has left the band. He posted something about being jaded on the music scene and all on our message board... and uh, we pretty much haven't heard from him since. Hey it's all good -I love Mark. If he was gonna quit, I knew it would be something unorthodox. I'm sure he'll get the bug again to play music one of these days... So we're rocking it like elderly-school! ...as a 3 piece -the way we started out. We'll add another guitar player (maybe even TWO) after we finish the songs for the EP... tentatively titled "Over The Counter Explosives". Our song "Damage Control" is on the "NFL Street 2" video game... it's not part of the "soundtrack", but can be heard while playing the game. I guess they did that so they wouldn't have to pay us -ha. We plan to hit the road again this Spring/Summer. We also plan to finally hit up Canada this year... I just might not come back from that one!!! We should have more shows to update soon... I think we're gonna stop being lazy now ok. stay up! <3
