Howdy all!

Unfortunately, I'll not be rejoining the "Goodbye Thrill" band on the two upcoming shows in Massachusetts (one next week, one in Aug w/Dokken). I'm sure they'll have a great replacement for me, and the door is still open for future shows with them. Please, be sure to go check them out and tell 'em Dean sent you!

In more urgent news, tonight/Fri the 10th, the Cramer Bros w/Tim Haines show has been MOVED to Gianni's in Frostburg, which is 2 doors up from the 7-11 on Main St. The time is the regular 10:00-1:00. sat is still at Oscars on Oldtown Rd, from 9:00-12:00.

Hello Kiddies!

I wanted to update everyone on how things went Sat, Feb 16th with our 2 shows. I picked up Dario from the airport on Fri and took him in town to the Holiday Inn where he checked in and dropped off his personal gear. We then hopped over to a local club where I had an acoustic show to do. Dario hung as long as he could, having had a freakin' long day, and was whipped after the 1st set. As a result, I had my pal Harry take him back to the hotel to catch some winks so he'd be daisy fresh for the 2 shows the next day.

The other boys all drove down from NY (Marco actually played an acoustic show THEN drove down afterwards-what dedication!), arriving LATE Fri night. Come Saturday, we'd setup our rehearsal for 2:00 that afternoon in Pete's room, so we convened at the proper time to start the process. By the way, this was recorded and MAY show up on our DVD... It's the best way to practice, just using acoustics, playing at low levels. You can tell how good a band is in this kind of setting, where there's nowhere to hide. Again-I really dig it. After an hour of this things are packed up, ready to hit the road up to our 1st show of the day......

First up: The Acoustic Show at FYE in LaVale, MD.

Right out of the gate, we want to thank Jeff James (FYE manager) and his staff of crazies for helping get things setup all the way around making things as good as they could be! Upon our arrival we had an hour to get everything setup, sound checked and try to relax for a minute or two. My brother Gary volunteered to do the sound for us, and while it was a pain at times for him (gear issues) he did a fine job, so for that a major thanks! (By the way, my other acoustic partner Tim took the time to drop off/pick up the PA-for that, thanks mucho!)

We started rockin' it unplugged style just after 5:00, in front of a very nice size audience. I recognized nearly everyone and it was great to see some bodies that I'd not seen in a while. Family & friends around us, it was a great show of support and interest in the band. This was my hometown, literally, so I wanted things to go well all the way around. Proudly, I can say that they did so and more. Lots of cameras, applause and singing along... Again-if you happened to have shot the show, please get a copy of it to me, as we're looking for DVD release stuff. We ended up playing the entire set that we'd be doing later on in the evening (bummer-no "Jessie's Girl"!). Finishing our audio display, did the meet & greet, saying hello to all, signing lots of GT pictures and CD's. I even signed my Mom's stuff (I wrote, "To you, From your son")! We wrapped up the event by signing a guitar that was to be given away to one of the attendees. I was the one who got to pick out a name from the entry box...and the winner was...DANIEL ROTH!!! We'll try to find a pic of him with his bounty and get it posted for all to see. Saying thanks/goodbye to the FYE camp, we head off for show 2...

Stay tuned for more!!!! Peace-D!C!

Dean Cramer had this to say about the band getting out there to play and the upcoming releases:  "Playing in my hometown area is sure to be a blast...and CROWDED!!! I have a lot of pride is this "new" band-good music, good guys, and great attitudes! I'm sure this will be a kick butt evening with the bands involved and I can't wait."

"Our second  CD is likely to be even broader than the first, as we've all written tunes for it...did I say even broader? It might even be BETTER!!! Fair warning, kiddies..."
