Oh my god.  I don't even know where to start.

This weekend totally kicked ass!  You all are amazing.  Minus the one hitch of mapquest being a total waste of time and sending everyone way out of their way to our location, our 16 hour shoot, (yes kids, 16 hours!) went off without a hitch!  Everyone was on their mark.  Actors, you put in some major hard work, and it shows.  Great emotion, great energy, great fun!  Crew, thank you for all the hard work you did to make sure we flowed from scene to scene.

This was definitely a perfect example of how we have been wanting things to go.  I'm truly looking forward to more great shoots like this!  Hope everyone gets some rest!

Well I have to admit something to you all and Lou is already aware of this but i was a little pessimistic before sunday about taking on a project of this size.  But after meeting you all on Sunday sure did change that and then some.  As a filmmaker I hadn't worked on any legitimate project since I had moved home from L.A. at the end of 2005 and that was all short films.  But that passion finally came back and I'm really excited about this project and this crew.  All of you were wonderful to work with and were most helpful.  I'm hoping as we progress I will be able to get to know each of you and work with you on future projects.  I know Lou and I share the same vision (pretty much) for this film and I believe we have both accepted the fact that there will be times where frustration might divert our attention from the ultimate goal more so for me than for Lou but I know I can count on him to keep me motivated and vise versa.  So let's have some fun and make a fuckin movie shall we.

Peace

Well, if I wasn't excited enough before, I am now!  Tonight we began filming and despite the call for storms, Mother Nature must be behind us on this film.  We shot the opening scene tonight at Keystone State Park.  Everything went as smooth as could be expected for a first day of filming, if not better.  Everyone pitched in to help and everyone seemed to be very excited to be there.  We came up with some great shots and very few takes.  The daily's have not been reviewed as of yet, but from what could be seen in the monitor, it's only going to get better.  I am officially excited about the cast.  Most of them that weren't even involved in the shoot, came out to offer an extra hand where needed.

I want to personally thank Starr, Rob, Robyn, Kaycee, Michael, Julie, JP, Johnny, Matt, Brian, and John D. for all their amazing and hard work put into our first day of filming.  You all are amazing and forever in my graces.  I look forward to working with you all more!

Thanks,

Lou

Exciting news to go along with all of the other great things that have recently been happening with the movie.  I have music news...

As some of you know, I'm a big music fan and I was determined to have some great music associated with this film.  As some of you also know, I am a big fan of the band, "The Unknownn."  Well, just to try my luck, I thought I would contact them and see if they would be interested in being on the soundtrack, the responded within just a couple of hours with an absolute YES!  I'm so excited!  They are currently re-recording the song I wanted to use and that is the one they want us to use, the new version!  Super stoked!  Be sure and check them out at http://www.myspace.com/theunknownn and listen to the song, "Nocturnal."  If you add them, tell them Lou sent ya!

Ok, back to work!

Three: I am very excited about the cast.  We have some of the best in Oklahoma involved.  Check out their pictures on the pics page under "Cast."

Four: There is an update to the Crew list on the main page as well.

We are hoping to start filming in about two weeks at the latest.  Watch for our extra casting calls!  We are going to need everyone!

More spooktacular news from the forefront of the Zombie headquarters!  This has got to be one of the most amazing pre-productions I have ever been involved in!

I am very honored and excited to announce that we will have original scoring for the movie done by Chris Vazquez of the New York based band Cyanide Savior.  Chris has been working on making original scores and original songs for independent movies for quite a few years now, and from what I have heard (and most of you know how I obsess with music!) I have yet to be disappointed!  Make sure to check out Chris' page as well as Cyanide Savior's page.  Chris' page is on our top friends list.  On his page you can find samples of his work as well as find out a little bit more about the man behind the music.

Tonight is Camera play night… most of you won't understand that… test shooting my friends… which means.. days away from beginning production!

Hey Kids!  It's Lou and I have some great updates for you all about the locations for the film.  This past weekend, my friend Allen and I went to his parent's house out in the country.  They have several acres of land that is full of trees and a wonderful, but creepy looking creek that runs through it.  This is much needed for my idea of the opening scene of the film.

I also have secured an amazing home out in Sperry that is also out in the middle of the sticks and creepy as well.  We are trying to get a final word on the use of Downtown Beggs for the use of Old Gower...  Again very exciting, half of the town is burned out and the other half is abandoned... Bad for the town of Beggs, but perfect for us.

Another location that I am very excited to let everyone in on is the club that has so generously decided to let us use them for the club/party/live band scene in the film.  Club Majestic on Brady in downtown Tulsa.  This is one of the nicest and largest dance clubs in Tulsa and I am so excited about getting to film there.  Below are some pictures of the inside of the club, so you get an idea of what we are going to be working with and if you want, check them out at http://www.clubmajestictulsa.com/

Also if anyone knows of a really awesome barn and a cemetary with an old church that is out in the woods, that would be phenominal!

ENJOY!

They always say, "Third times a charm!"  Well, I'm determined to find out.

Hey everyone, it's Lou, director of Please Don't Feed the Zombies.  As a lot of you know, this will be the third official attempt at the making of this film.  As of the end of July, I have been given permission by Starla and JoVo of Space Elf Productions, to go ahead with the film.  They have since relocated to New York.

I have always loved this script and think it would be a waste if it was not made into the film it deserves to be.  I have already got most of my production crew together and have a few slots to fill.  I am going to be using the majority of the cast from the second attempt, although anyone interested can still contact us here if they are interested in participating.  Everyone will be informed and kept up to date with what is going on this time.  The production schedule will be very fast, so if you don't want to devote the time to this, please don't lead us to believe that you will.

This time will be fun, but serious too.  We are going to shoot close to 7 days a week hopefully with two seperate crews.  I have been blessed to have three very talented film makers jump aboard with me to make this happen.  As well as a brand new Canon XL2!

Plans for the film right now are to have it done... complete and available for viewing...  by Halloween!

SO this time, let's eat some brains and make somebody squirm!
