Current mood: depressed
I wasn’t planning on doing one of these so soon but things as of late there’s been things that have affected my psyche and that has had an effect on things, which has led to me being a real grump too often and it is a part of something that has happened to me recently that has gotten a few people close to me not too pleased with me. It’s been like a big slap of reality right in my face.
Those of you who have met me in person know that I’m “different” and I’ve always been. I act more normal online but in person… various things are difficult for me. That’s why I come off as being churlish and unfriendly and me trying to make friends isn’t the easiest thing. Ignorant people bullying me throughout my childhood is one thing (and sad to say, I didn’t have the happiest childhood) but as an adult, I feel like people judge me due to how unique I am and without even knowing me, they look down on me and think I’m worthless. I usually feel that way, to be honest. I try not to let those things bother me but sometimes they do. Me feeling depressed has been an issue in the past and that’s led to bad mistakes and problems, and I feel like my negative thoughts have affected me badly as of recent times. I know I mentioned it once before a few months ago, but thinking about my past, how I’m in my late 20’s and yet I SO stand out when I compare myself to people I know around my age and their lives are different from mine and I wish I was in a different position now and I don’t have to experience the things I do and I wish I had a more normal life… I should stop thinking that way but I can’t and like I said, that’s affected my psyche and it has led to stuff where some people are miffed at me. Hopefully now that I’m admitting to this, I can start adding some sunshine to my life and I won’t be a sourpuss as much as I usually am. I shouldn’t let the bad things get me down and I should not be bothered as much by ignorant people, especially those I encounter on the road.
Other than that… absolutely nothing to say concerning the past few days. The Bears game tonight, I’ll watch it at home because I can and I have stuff to do at home. I have a busy rest of the month and depending on how some things turn out, it may be a pretty bad end of the month for me, but hopefully not. Who knows when I’ll do my next blog but hopefully you guys (and me) will have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Current mood: focused
Don’t worry, I’m not being crude here. Once again I am just talking
about something dealing with a restaurant I recently went to.
Before I get into recapping the little that I have to say for the past
week, it has to be said that a few weeks ago my old high school played
a game in the playoffs. The past few years football is different in
good old Belvidere, as back when I went to school there, the town only
had one high school. But, the population has grown so much in recent
years that a second high school was built. Both of those schools made
the Illinois high school playoffs. The original Belvidere school played
against my mom’s old high school, of all educational places (Woodstock
Marian). They kicked Belvidere’s ass 42-6, and the score was 42-0 at
halftime. When I saw that score via a Twitter post, I was quite
disappointed. Maybe if there was still one school, they’d field a great
team, but those are the breaks… the new school, Belvidere North (as if
they’re preparing for a Belvidere South sometime in the future) won
their first two playoff games but lost on Saturday. Phooey.
The end of last week and the weekend weren’t too noteworthy at all so
I’ll skip past that, except for two things. The Bears played this past
Thursday, at the San Francisco 49ers. I could’ve gone out to watch the
game (as I wasn’t able to view it at home; we don’t get the NFL
Network, sad to say), whether it be to Friendly Confines or even a bar
in Clermont , but I decided not to. It proved to be a wise decision in
hindsight as I heard it was a real ugly game, and Chicago lost 10-6.
I’m sure I would not have enjoyed it, so I’m glad I stayed home
instead. The next night, I went out and saw Gremlins. Yes, it was on
the big screen, in Orlando at Universal. I don’t think I’ve seen that
in like 20 years, so it was nice watching it that way. You can read
more about what I thought of the film at http://blairreviewsmoviesDOTblogspot.com/ (add a . where the DOT is; I have to do it that way due to MySpace being lame)
Onto this week… Monday I went to the Santa Fe Cattle Co. restaurant, a
southeast chain that’s only been around for a few years now. Just
recently they opened a restaurant in Clermont so me and someone else
decided to go to it. If you’ve been to a “peanuts on the floor” joint
like, say, Logan’s Roadhouse or a Texas Roadhouse, it’s much like those
restaurants. The food’s all similar, they all offer up tasty buns with
butter, they give you a bucket of peanuts to eat at your table, and all
that. The theme-ing at Santa Fe was pretty nice, though, and they had a
photo from the Tombstone movie, along with some John Wayne stills. The
food at all those joints taste pretty good, and Santa Fe is no
exception. I didn’t consume any of the alcohol there but some of the
selections did look appetizing. One drink had what is a first for me at
what I’ve seen at restaurants, in that it included JAEGERMEISTER
(besides the greatness of that drink, which I know more than a few
reading this can attest to, the menu had it in all caps, maybe for the
same reason in that it’s great), and another was called “redneck tea”
and it had a bunch of different alcohols and “a splash of Coca-Cola”.
That’s right, it sounded like it was almost all alcohol, as if it was a
specialty drink you could get at Mako’s! I presume it’s a
family-friendly joint-and there were mainly families there-and yet one
shirt that servers wore had on the back a picture of a bull protecting
a stash of peanuts, and it said… yep, you guessed it, “protect your
nuts”. That’s rather ribald for a family joint, don’t you think? The
chain has also experienced some financial troubles in its short
history, with some restaurants being closed. Hopefully it’ll do well in
the future, as I liked it there and I think I’ll return there once in
awhile. I mean, I have to try the JAEGERMEISTER drink and Redneck Tea,
right?
Yesterday, I did something for the first time… visit an IKEA store!
I’ve had no use for that place so I never went there, even though I
commonly hear friends online mention that they visit the place often
and they love it. After visiting that home furnishing joint, I can see
why it’s beloved. I wasn’t looking to make any purchases so I just
walked around and looked at all the fancy set-ups. The only stuff I
bought was food and drink, and not just at their cafeteria. The
cafeteria food was what you’d expect… passable. At least it was cheap.
The fancy dessert was the definite highlight. The ligonberry drink is
pretty tasty.
Other than that… this week has had me with a dilemma with someone. I
won’t delve into details but I was put in a jam by that individual and
I wish I didn’t have to be in that position. Hopefully it’ll get
resolved soon and there’s no hard feelings.
The next week doesn’t look that eventful… although Friday and Saturday
night I’ll be attending a pro wrestling tournament that’s in honor of a
late local wrestler and all the benefits are going to charity to help
those with cancer, so it’s a great thing ( jpc2009.com for all the
details). I’ll post something new next week, probably a day before
Thanksgiving.

Current mood: inspired
Yes, I’m referring to a place known as BJ’s Restaurants; I’m not
talking about BJ’s and restaurants here as two separate topics! I’m not
one to be lewd in my MySpace/Facebook blogs and plus, I don’t want to
brag about my love life…
Again, I don’t have too much to say about my activities during the
week, as really nothing happened worth noting here. Not even any good
road rage stories! The only thing interesting was that I was at a
Wal-Mart on Friday night, looking for an item or two to get. I saw that
they had an exclusive item there… it was KISS M&M’s! No kidding.
What won’t Gene Simmons merchandise? It’s a large bag of M&M’s and
each M has a face of a band member on it. On the bag itself it has the
outline of one of the four face paint designs; I picked up the Catman
design of Peter Criss (and also Eric Singer, but I have a feeling KISS
fans may prefer it as just Peter Criss rather than the guy that
replaced him).
So, I’ll skip ahead to the weekend. I went to a wrestling show in
nearby Leesburg and then after that went home and saw the rest of the
MMA show they had on CBS. Soon after that I watched the VHS tape (hey,
don’t snicker) that I used to tape the first part of the show that I
missed. Overall, that was fun times, and the wrestling show wasn’t too
shabby either.
“Shabby”, though, is not strong enough of a word to describe the
Chicago Bears on Sunday. They performed much less than “shabby”.
“Shitty” is a more accurate description! Once again I went to Friendly
Confines to watch the game. The Arizona Cardinals whipped some ass and
they didn’t let the Bears off the hook. The final score was 41-21
Arizona but 14 of those points were cheap late touchdowns from Chicago.
At times the offense looked nice but otherwise they played badly
against the Cardinals D and the Bears D… again, it was horrible and
they rarely could stop Arizona at all. I couldn’t believe how bad it
was. That’s really all I have to say about that game. At least I was
able to watch other games besides the Bears one. The big one going on
there at the time was New England vs. Miami, oddly enough; I mean, you
could watch that on cable in Orlando without having to go to a public
place like a bar that was showing it. It was a fun back and forth
contest so there was yelling from both fans at various points, and it
was a lively crowd there that afternoon. That helped lighten my mood
there while watching the Bears shit the bed once again this season.
Their next game is actually tomorrow night against the 49ers but I may
just decide not to go out to see that game and instead stay in and save
some cash.
This week… there have been idiots on the road that I’ve had to deal
with, and with the rainy weather… as I’ve said before, any water on the
road and driver IQ’s drop even lower than they usually are. But, I’ll
skip past that and I’ll instead get to what I did yesterday, which is
talk about BJ’s Restaurants. Technically it’s BJ’s Restaurant &
Brewhouse. Yep, they make their beer on-site. Overall, it’s a pretty
damn good place and I’m glad I found it via a Yahoo article, although I
wish I knew about it sooner. It’s similar to that Granite City place I
went to up in Illinois in August, although thankfully this time both
the food and the service were satisfactory. I sat at the bar and yes, I
consumed alcohol! I had a pint of Berry Burst Cider and it was pretty
tasty. The food I had was the deep dish pizza, as I heard it was great,
and indeed it was. I had it mini-sized, as that and the cider were
half-price due to it being Happy Hour, and yep, that did make me happy
lol.
I may not be back until late next week as my agenda looks as barren as
it almost always is these days. In the next few weeks I may try out
some restaurants for the first time so at least I can chat about that.
In the meantime, I’ll wish a Happy Veteran’s Day to everyone out there.

Current mood: stoked
If you’re wondering where I got this title, it’s from me looking up
sports scores on my Verizon phone. Note that I’m not like most people
from the ages of-say-14 to 40, who are on their phones all the damn
time doing God knows what... probably mostly that useless texting crap.
I’m not much of a texter; I don’t even do it anymore (it’s not part of
my phone’s plan) and in the past I pretty much had to do it at
gunpoint. Anyway, I really only use that mobile web feature during the
weekends to look up scores if I’m at wrestling shows or whatever. Well,
Sunday I’m using that feature and to get to the sports section you have
to go through the main page first, and they always post a small picture
on top and then the first few words of the headline. Sometimes, the
stuff they choose to spotlight is downright baffling. I mean, not any
important world news or what have you, but instead, in this case, a guy
making a giant ball of rubber bands! No shit. Unfortunately for
Verizon, the first few words of the headline that appeared to advertise
this was “Man Makes Giant Rubber”; if it wasn’t for the accompanying
picture, I would be wondering what in the world was going on and I’d
have to click on the article to read it. You can insert your own jokes
about giant rubbers.
I don’t have too much to say about the past week. No wild adventures or
sordid tales, despite the title of the blog. I was boring most of this
past week. No Halloween activities or dressing up, even. So, I’ll skip
past that to mention… oh wait, I do have something to mention. On
Mister Saint Laurent’s messageboard, Jared David himself brought up
something I mentioned recently elsewhere and whined about it, because I
was too mean to him or whatever, and other people got mad and butthurt
about it. That’s par for the course, but one guy did mention something
that was dumb, but it made me laugh. He said that if MSL poured a shot
on his chest and I did a bodyshot off of him, that I’d be pals with
him! I swear, that’s what he said. I’d rather drink bleach than perform
that act with him, but like I said it made me laugh. I haven’t done any
bodyshots at all, come to think of it. Maybe that’ll change sooner or
later…
Now I can skip ahead to Sunday, where the only interesting things
happened to me. I went to Friendly Confines to see the Bears play
against the lowly terrible Cleveland Browns. At first both teams were
awful then Chicago started playing better and except for some moments
the Browns were bad on offense and defense. The final score was 30-6, a
win for the Bears. While the opposition was horrible it was still nice
seeing the Bears score a lot of points and it was amusing to laugh at
the bungling Browns (who have only won one game this entire season),
but I also feel bad for them as they’ve been totally inept for much of
the past 10 years, and in recent years there’s been issues with dirty
locker rooms that have given multiple players staph infection, players
feuding with coaches, the team not playing talent because if they play
a certain number of games, they have to give bonuses to them, and it’s
a huge mess and I feel bad for all Browns fans they have to put up with
that. I guess I can’t ever gripe about the Bears too loudly, if they at
least don’t do that kind of stuff. Anyhow, the people there were happy
to see Chicago win; I wish the middle-aged guy who was there last week
that had an AWESOME mullet (no, not a joke. He had a mullet!) would
have been there this week, but oh well.
As usual, nothing exciting planned for the next week, but at least
during the weekend I’ll be seeing a wrestling show in Leesburg, and
then the next day I’ll watch the Bears play against the Cardinals, who
are a schizophrenic team but I know they’ll be more of a challenge than
Cleveland was. I think that my December and January will be more
eventful than this month as I have some things in mind in terms of
things to do; it’s all just ideas and nothing’s set in stone, though.

Current mood: smart
OK, so “fascinating stories” is stretching it but I do have some things to say about me since the last time I blogged.
The title of this blog is related to something I saw late Monday night when I got tired of watching that hideous game on Monday Night Football. I randomly turned the channel to Fox35 and they had a blurb about how Tim Tebow, the quarterback for the Florida Gators, blew off the media after their latest game, which was a closer than expected game against Mississippi State. What was the phrase that they used for the graphic to describe visually what happened? “Tebow Blows Media After 29-19 Gators Win” No, not “Blows Off Media”, but “Blows Media”! How did this happen? How could they have not noticed the obvious there? The obvious joke is that Tim is returning the favor as the media is the one who usually performs fellatio on him! He’s a talented football player, sure, but all the overbearing hype he gets on a constant basis about how he’s the greatest person to have ever played on the gridiron and it’s pretty nauseating how they give him a blowjob, to state it bluntly. So, I was greatly amused to see that graphic; I don’t have any visual evidence of it, but trust me it happened.
I wish I had audio evidence of what I heard when I was at a local Target. A man was loudly talking on his cell phone and all I heard was him asking the person on the line whether they had called 911. That’s odd enough, but then loud man asked the other person whether they had their 9mm. Yes, a gun! I wish I could be a fly on the wall at that house to know what was going on there.
Last week otherwise wasn’t too exciting. Saturday, though, before I saw a wrestling show in Sanford, I ate at a nearby Hooters. I ate there last month. This month, the waitress I had the last time was there but this time I had a new one; a cute blonde. But hey, I was there for the food and for the football! Why else would I go there lol
Sunday I saw the Tampa Bay Bucs play against the New England Patriots on TV. At least I saw the first half of the game. It was unique as it was in London, England, as the NFL now does once a year. I’d like to visit the UK one of these days as hey, that’s part of my heritage, I haven’t been out of North America before (unless Hawaii counts) and I always enjoy traveling. I’d also like to visit that venue (Wembley Stadium). As everyone thought, the Bucs got their asses handed to them, 35-7. They may not win a game this entire season! Then again, I can’t bag on Tampa Bay too badly after watching the Bears play… they played against the Cincinnati Bengals and they lost *45-10*. Even now I can’t explain how that could’ve happened and I have heard no explanation from anyone else, for that matter. They couldn’t run the ball, Cutler was bad as a QB, but the defense… pretty rancid. The Bengals just shredded them and often gave up 8 to 10 yards per play, whether it be via pass or by run. Pretty amazing, given that it’s not like the Bears faced the Colts or the Giants or anything. It was the Bengals, mediocre for the past few years and by luck or whatever are having a nice season so far this year. It was not a good experience. In fact, I left during the latter part of the 3rd quarter! I did not want to watch the rest of it. I think the last time I saw Chicago play that bad, it was back when I was going to college in Illinois, which is like 2002 or 2003. They’re playing the horrible Cleveland Browns and I’d like to say that they’d be able to beat them, but after Sunday I’m not so sure.
There was at least other things to talk about while I was at Friendly Confines. The end of the first part of the NFL games were finishing up when I got there so I saw that while waiting for the Bears game and the other late afternoon games to begin. The one that many of them were there to see was the Steelers vs. Vikings game, as the latter was undefeated and the former won the Super Bowl in February. The Steelers won via some fluke plays so the Pittsburgh fans there (including the middle-aged good old boy sitting by me) were happy about the results while the Vikings fans (including one old guy in a Warren Moon Vikings jersey, which was pretty bitchin’) were upset, and some of them were jawing at each other, but nothing resulted from that. The good old boy was a character, so that was good for laughs.
This week hasn’t been too noteworthy aside from the whole Tebow thing. The rest of this month has nothing on the agenda and I won’t be dressing up for Halloween at all as I’m a fuddy-duddy! But, I’m sure that sometime next week I’ll post another blog as I’ll find something to write about.

Current mood: optimistic
There’s nothing to report on from the last blog until now aside from two things.
The whole Heene family thing… the people that I first saw say that the
whole thing was a hoax was… pro wrestling people! After all, who would
know better if something that looks real but it actually staged, right?
Plus, those people deal on a regular basis with Mister Saint Laurent;
don’t get me started on that man-child (or man-CHILD, to state it
properly; he’s coming out of retirement for a match in a few months and
the set-up for this match is tremendously infuriating but I’ll spare
you the details about it)… anyway, my point is that if they have to
deal with someone that has a sick diseased mind like MSL ( a guy who
tries to “work” people ALL THE GODDAMN TIME; no kidding; like I’ve said
before, he’s not that far away from painting pictures with his own
poop!), they’ll especially be more keen to seeing something that’s
staged. Thursday night on my Facebook page I said that Falcon should be
tossed out of that balloon at 10,000 feet, as I still figured that he
was just some little shithead brat, but then logic set in and it became
more and more clear that it was just a stunt to get attention so that
those demon parents would get the whole brood on *a reality show*. To
me, there aren’t too many phrases that are worse than “reality show”,
as most of them just make me hate the world and totally leave me
perplexed as to how anyone can derive any enjoyment from them, no
matter what they’re about or if they’re the worst of the worst (most of
the VH1 reality shows, for example). I wonder how they couldn’t come up
with a better story but I really hope that the law enforcement in that
town prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law; I wish they’d be
locked away forever and have the key thrown away, but that isn’t really
realistic now, unfortunately. Then again, I wish that those guys and
people like MSL, Glenn Beck, Nancy Grace, and others would be tied up,
together in MSL’s warehouse and I could throw in some grenades… not
that I’m a nihilist or anything, but yeah sometimes I just shake my
head at the world in general. As for what I said on Thursday night, I
was incorrect in saying that Falcon should be tossed out of that
balloon; it’s the parents who should be hurled from an airplane without
a parachute! Maybe that way their kids have some hope of not growing up
to be loony whackjobs like mom and dad who believe in reptilian people
and live on Mars.
Onto a topic that I wish was much cheerier than what I stated above,
but it’s not so much so, as the Bears lost last night on national TV to
the Atlanta Falcons. Sure, Atlanta’s a pretty good team so it’s not
that much of a shame to lose to them, but the way the Bears played;
Cutler looked bad again on national TV, passes were dropped, the run
game is pretty atrocious, and stupid mistakes were made. Sure, the
Falcons earned the 21 points they scored, but the Bears should’ve
scored that much or more if not for a multitude of miscues. Not that it
wasn’t fun to watch at times but it was also frustrating. I’m glad I
didn’t go out to watch the game, as besides Chicago losing, my stomach
also didn’t feel all that great on Sunday night. No, it wasn’t due to
stress or nerves; it must’ve been something I ate. I will go out to see
Chicago’s next game, which is late Sunday afternoon against the
Cincinnati Bengals. I don’t think Cincy is as good as their record
suggests but I have the feeling it’ll be yet another close nail-biter
game that goes down to the wire, which I prefer it NOT be the case.
Other than that I’ll be seeing a wrestling show on Saturday so at least
I’ll be doing stuff and won’t be bored at home or have to look to
mischief and waywardness in downtown Orlando to keep me occupied,
although knowing my luck I’ll still cause trouble somehow and I’ll have
insane drunken louts maniacally chase me for no reason whatsoever.

Current mood: distractable
I know, another blog already. Well, I have a good reason to do one now.
In fact, in a few days I’ll do another one, where I’ll talk about the
Bears vs. Falcons game, Falcon Heene , what I said about that little
bugger, and that whole mess, and anything that happens between now and
then. After that, it may be some time before I do another blog. And
yeah, this will be a lengthy blog, I’ll predict before I finish it.
Note that I’m typing part of this real late Saturday night and the rest
of it early Sunday. Right now it’s late Saturday night and it may be
awhile before I’m able to fall asleep. That’s because even now my body
is flowing with adrenaline and it’ll take some time before I can calm
down and fall asleep. There’s a good reason why that’s the case. I
normally don’t like to start this off with the climax and then present
the lesser stuff; instead I prefer to reveal the climax once it’s been
built up to. This case, though, I’ll have to do it differently.
I was driving home late Saturday night and once I got on 50 to head
home someone started to give me shit. I mean, Troglodytes who were
hanging out the window of a Pontiac G6 and they were yelling at me… and
I have ZERO idea why. I mean, I didn’t do shit to cause that kind of
reaction. I didn’t cut them off or flash my brights at them or anything
close to that; I did nothing to provoke them so I dunno. But, at the
time I was pissed at them, so if they wanted to start shit with me, I
was going to give it back! You know, “don’t start no shit, there’s
gonna be no shit”, to quote a rap song from a few years ago. Well, I
ended up getting CHASED by these Troglodytes, and for a few minutes at
that. I ended up having to drive WAY over the speed limit in the
general area where I live and hell, I spent some time driving *without
my lights on*, which is something that I don’t recommend ever doing
unless it’s in extreme situations such as this. I eventually lost those
mouth-breathers but man, those few minutes were absolutely terrifying;
I mean, more frightening than most horror movies, no lie. If you’ve
never been in that kind of situation, consider yourself lucky.
OK, onto the rest of the things that I did between the last blog and
this one. It was pretty much dullsville except for me commenting that
“balloon boy” Falcon Heene should be thrown out of an experimental
balloon; that comment wasn’t well-received in some circles and in
hindsight, I should have said that his parents should be thrown out of
a balloon! They’re kooks who believe that Hillary Clinton is a
reptilian alien (no kidding), so need I say more? But, I’ll talk more
about that in the next blog I do, as the Atlanta Falcons and Falcon
Heene tie together so perfectly.
I wasn’t happy about having a second weekend in a row with no closeby
wrestling show to attend that I want to see, or any other activity, so
I decided to do something that a month ago would’ve seen that lunacy
after that major alcohol-fueled rant that I delivered in the blog I
posted on September 12th.
That’s right folks, I returned to Mako’s.
I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea, but I figured that if I had people
encouraging me to go downtown after I mentioned that I got the new
(replacement) credit card, I might as well do so, right? Plus, me
deciding that I probably overreacted with that epic rant and hearing
that they were offering the new Bud Light beer known as Golden Wheat;
it’s not too shabby, by the way. So, I decided to roll the dice and go
there; now that I knew what to expect there, I wouldn’t get turned off
by any surprises so I was hoping to have a better time there.
I did end up having a better time there. Things aren’t the same as they
used to be, sad to say, but at least I had fun while I was there.
• They did have the same setup as last month, but I tried to put up
with it. It led to me being cramped at times, sure, I dealt with it.
Maybe the main thing I should worry about here is that maybe this place
isn’t doing as well attendance wise as they used to be; that’s a
problem and I hope that’s not the case for reasons too obvious to state
here. They did change around something else as where the beer tub was,
they now have up some seats and a table for a VIP area. I guess it
makes sense as (goofy-looking as it may be) if they’re only using the
front half of the club and leaving the upstairs area empty (where the
VIP section normally is), they should have a VIP area set up in front.
I do have to say that I am glad that security was actually nice this
time around and when people went to the back to use the restroom, they
weren’t stopped and asked… “Uh, where are you going to? The bathroom?”,
as that’s just dumb, you know. Hearing a nice mix of music while I was
there also helped me to enjoy things.
• Watching some *guy* get on the bar and just walk around… what a
poltroon he was! He got yelled at and he got off of there, but I was
hoping for security to toss him off of there, if only for my amusement
at his pain and suffering.
• My homie J.P. Gilbert wasn’t there, although the last I knew he’s
still an employee there. But, the damsel (not in distress) who I had
“issues” with the past two times was there and… things are fine with me
and her now? Yeah. I have no explanation for what has happened the
previous two visits to the joint, but I won’t complain. She was working
there but wasn’t a bartender. She did “other things” instead and I
wasn’t really able to have any sort of chat with her… things were back
to normal and she was nice to me and all that. I’ll just forget all
about the drama of recent months and say that things are back to good,
to quote that goofy Take That song from the 90’s. I also enjoyed what
she was wearing on this night.
• Some other lady employees I knew were working there, and like the
aforementioned damsel, treated me kindly and that’s always good to be
treated well.
• Not too many activities to talk about, though. At least I did see a
new one, which was one of the male “barbacks” holding an inflatable
shark between his legs and some ladies tossing some rings onto the head
of the shark. You know, like that “genital ringtoss” story. I’ve heard
rumors about it being done with donuts and someone ate those donuts and
only found out later via photograph what that food was being used for;
it may be an urban legend a la the old “someone brushes their teeth
with a toothbrush left after their home was robbed and later they find
out said toothbrush was up the orifice of the robber while he robbed
the joint” story. True or not it’s good for lol’s.
• I can also say that I enjoyed the usual girls dancing around stuff,
whether it’d be female customers or the employees there. I mean, how
can I not enjoy seeing shapely young lasses dancing on the bartop while
only in their bras and panties?
• As what usually happens, they were throwing out beads a la what you
see at Mardi Gras. As what sometimes happens, I find some of them on
the ground and I end up putting them on. As what has never happened
before there, I see two guys walking around with Mardi Gras masks on.
Why, I have no earthly idea, but it amused me.
• To give my review of Bud Light Golden Wheat, not too shabby. I say
that it’s better than regular Bud Light; I’m not one of those guys that
drink ale beers or stouts or any of that nasty bullshit. Yet, at least
I drink more than Budweiser/Bud Light and Miller Lite. I say that
Golden Wheat is at least worth a try.
• There were some other memorable moments, such as seeing a pair of
young Asian girls huddling up close to each other (maybe they were
cold; after all it was only in the middle 50’s last night), one guy in
attendance who looked like a younger version of Dr. Ken (you know, the
bad guy in The Hangover, Role Models, and is on that one new NBC show)
and seeing another girl bent over the bartop to chat with a barback and
seeing that she was wearing a string thong… I know, not something that
the female readers of this blog didn’t really need to know, but hey…
I wish I’d have more to say about the night, but at least I’m not
really mad at Mako’s anymore and I don’t have heat with anyone there,
so yay for that. I have no idea when I’ll be back there and I won’t
even try to predict as the predictions usually don’t come true; I do
have stuff planned for most of the weekends for about the next 5 or 6
weeks; it means that I’ll be able to do something those weekends which
is unlike this weekend and the last one, when I had Jack Shit to do.
Like I said already, expect my next blog sometime in the next few days.

Current mood: hungry
If you’re wondering about the title like most of you reading this, let
me explain. The early 80’s song Destroyer by The Kinks is about… well,
I’m not sure what it’s about, actually (The Kinks are a pretty strange
band, you know… aside from them being fronted by a pair of brothers who
constantly feud with each other, their biggest hit was about a guy
unknowingly falling in love with a transvestite!) but it’s a great
catchy tune. Anyhow, the main lyric to the song is “Paranoia, the
destroyer”, and well, I decided to put it on right as I started typing
it and only then was I able to come up with a title for this blog, as I
otherwise would’ve been stumped. As for the “Nic The Destroyer” ID’ed,
for you guys that don’t follow the local Florida wrestling scene,
there’s a fan known by that moniker. He’s “mentally handicapped”, sure,
but he gets into the show hardcore and his enthusiasm for everything is
great. Also, if you sing the aforementioned lyric and change it to the
title of the blog, it works.
I really don’t have too much else to say about the past week, though,
as there’s no exploits of adventures with alcohol, or tales of going
out to watch the Chicago Bears play. The main thing is that on Tuesday
I got my new credit card, it got activated, and it works fine. I don’t
know what happened to cause the old one to get fouled up like it did,
but I’ll cross my fingers that it won’t happen again. I mentioned it on
Facebook (among other places) and I had people comment that I should go
wild and go to downtown Orlando one night, or buy them dinner! Now
people are giving me peer pressure to return to downtown Orlando; what
should I do? But yeah, I was amused by their comments. Still, why do I
have to be peer pressured to spend money and act a fool lol
There isn’t even much in the way of “road stories” to tell. Sure,
earlier in the month I saw such idiocy as people driving at night with
their brights on at all times and clowns in the left lane who are
blocking the way of cops (sure, they were likely off-duty and just
driving home, but how could you be that clueless not to notice a police
vehicle right behind you, wanting to get by you?)… oh, if only I was a
cop out on patrol. I’d be handing out tickets as if they were Tic-tacs!
To get to the (few) highlights of my past week, last Friday I decided
to go to the Tampa area to kill time, and also to watch the movie
Paranormal Activity again. The second time around, the crowd wasn’t
large at all and they weren’t really into it and weren’t yelling in
terror like the first time I saw it. But, I still enjoyed the flick and
it still creeped me out. Some of my online pals have seen it and they
had mixed reviews of it; to each their own but I think the audience you
see it with can have an effect and if you see it I hope you like it.
It’s opening wide tomorrow so it’ll be easier for everyone to see it.
I watched football at home during the weekend so I’ll skip ahead to
Tuesday. I had dinner at a local TGIF as I had a free coupon for a Jack
Daniel’s burger due to “friending” a gimmick account on Facebook. It
wasn’t too shabby although I prefer their regular burger and who knows
when I’ll be back there.
As for my plans for the next week, they’re even more barren than the
past week, so who knows what I’ll have to write about or when I’ll
write about it next. So, I might as well close this out by mourning the
loss of the kid who got Falcon-punched to the great spaceship in the
sky. Sorry for not being more sympathetic here, but hearing about loony
parents who named their kid “Falcon” and work on some goofy
experimental balloon and they leave it around for him to fly away in…
besides the fact that it possibly is just a Mister Saint Laurent-level
hoax here, if it’s true I don’t feel too affected by it, except for
comedic purposes. Sorry, but it’s true. I mean, the parents believe
that all humans descended from aliens! No kidding, I read that in an
article just a few minutes ago.
That, plus this YouTube video ( http://www.youtube.com/wat..ch?v=EBWJXXgaYBo) of all their kids and they RAP about “pussification”. I wish I was making it up, but I’m not. What an f’ed up family!
So, that’s why I don’t have much in the way of compassion for this story.

Current mood: focused
First off, I should say that the credit card issues are finally
resolved. I wish that my credit card company weren’t such
paint-sniffing cretins and would’ve notified me of what was going on
(like you know, the first time I called those guys late last month) but
at least things should be fine now. I mean, about Goddamn time, I say.
Friday I went to Busch Gardens as I hadn’t been there since late 2004
and plus I went there with my family. Being around them was nice and
all, but hey, the free trip there and back and not having to do any
driving was nice too. I don’t really ride too many roller coasters in
general and in hindsight, with my ill-fated trip to Illinois, maybe I
should’ve gone to one of the amusement parks that I passed by on the
way there and back and gone on those rides, cost be damned. But hey,
maybe in the future… at the very least I would like to go to both
Universal parks in Orlando during the winter months sometime, as I
rarely go to them.
Busch Gardens was a lot of fun. Besides the rides it was also nice to
look at all the animals they had there. SheiKra did live up to its
billing, even though it’s basically one very impressive drop and
another good one. That impressive drop was something I enjoyed, as it’s
straight down 90 degrees and it’s fast, although it was the second drop
that lifted me out of my seat the most. Anyhow, it was good times
there, although during the evening while I was at home my right knee
was hurting me for some reason.
Saturday I went to a wrestling show and that was a fun time. Sunday I
went to good old Friendly Confines to watch the Bears play against the
lowly Detroit Lions, who didn’t even win a game last year and just won
their first game the weekend before. Much to my surprise the game was
competitive in the first half and by halftime it was tied at 21. That
wasn’t good. However, they turned it on in the second half and while
throughout the game the running game wasn’t good except for some fluke
plays (which describes how it’s been for this season, come to think of
it), the passing game went swimmingly well and once again I have to say
that I love Johnny Knox. With the benefit of great special teams from
the Bears, they were able to win 48-24. Players from both teams got
injured but luckily for Chicago this upcoming weekend is their bye
week, meaning that they won’t play and hopefully by Sunday night the
18th everyone will be fine. They have to play against the Atlanta
Falcons then and it won’t be an easy game for them, that’s for sure. It
was fun there watching the Bears and the other games going on. I was
even able to put up with the random idiots there, like the dopes who
got up every 10 minutes to smoke cigarettes outside.
Monday evening I went during the late evening and saw the Toy Story/Toy
Story 2 double feature in 3D. Would you believe that I had only seen
the first one once before and had never seen the second one before? Sad
but true. It was a great experience to see two awesome flicks back to
back in that setting, on the big screen. While I wish I would have seen
the flicks again/sooner, at least I got to see them this way. The crowd
wasn’t large at all and yet of course some people there were
Troglodytes. But, even though they were dumb they didn’t cause any
problems when the movies started, so I really can’t carp too loudly. I
definitely can’t carp about the presentation as the picture looked
great (the 3D wasn’t overdone or distracting) and the inserts they had
before the movies and during the 10 minute intermission were fun and
fit perfectly. So, I give this a major thumbs up. You can read more
about it at my movies blog page, at http://blairreviewsmovies.blogspot.com/
On the road, stuff has happened… I can’t seem but to think that the
dumbest idiots are sometimes attracted to me as if they were bulldogs
and I was wearing pork chop underwear! That includes being on the
highway and having to deal with clueless putzes there. I’ll try and be
careful, though, as I already had a chat with a cop once this year
concerning my driving skills so I’d better not let it happen again, not
to mention the scary incident I mentioned in the last blog with that
one driver spinning out. The thing is, during this past weekend someone
pointed their finger at me and demanded that I “drive safe”. It was
done in a joking manner but I’d better seriously listen to their advice.
One last thing before I close this out: Mister Saint Laurent, a guy
I’ve said too much about in the past, has his own YouTube account at: http://www.youtube.com/son..gsbymister.
The only reason why I’m even revealing what it is and giving him a
smidgen of publicity is that earlier in the week a spoof account was
made on YouTube by someone. It’s at http://www.youtube.com/mis..tersaintlauren
Someone took video clips of MSL performing and of him dancing with a
guy he spoons with and set it to two of the gayest songs possible… It’s
Raining Men and Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go! Tremendous. Yes, I do
realize that the odds are likely that MSL himself created that spoof
account as a way to get publicity as that’s how his sick diseased mind
works (I think he’s not that far away from painting pictures with his
own poop, but maybe that’s just me); for now, though, I’ll pretend that
an enemy produced those amateurish but hilarious videos, which I have
nothing to do with I swear.
I’ll be back sometime next week with a new blog.

Current mood: awake
I know, not an original title but I just wanted to mention a few quick
things, besides the fact that I’m again having issues with my credit
card. By the time I do my next blog, I’ll have an update on that and
things should finally be resolved there.
There are two things from Sunday that I should’ve mentioned in the last
blog but I’ll mention here instead. First things first, that one lady
who was checking me out, if you were wondering why nothing happened
once that incident occurred, it’s because she was with some dudes. I
don’t know if they were all guy friends and one of them was a b/f or
what the deal was, but because of that, I didn’t pursue things any
further. The second thing is that there were some cougars there! No
kidding. One of them happened to be a Seahawks fan so she cheered when
they were doing well, and she didn’t cheer a lot in the second half.
Another dame there certainly wasn’t a Cougar but she was a big Bears
fan, to the point that she has the Bears logo tattooed on her leg.
Awesome.
Not so awesome was the road rage incident I had Thursday afternoon, but
I’d rather not chat about that. Me, I’m glad I did what I did as that
guy was just a clueless idiot. Also on Thursday, people I knew had to
deal with stuff like someone merging into their lane and they had to
drive into the grass to avoid a collision, and another person had to
deal with someone stopping for no reason at all in an E-Pass lane on
528 in South Orlando. Like I’ve said hundreds of times before, there is
no shortage of total dipshit drivers in the state of Florida.
Tuesday I finally saw Sorority Row in full, and while you can read more
about it on my movies blog page, in short I’ll say that it’s a goofy
trashy movie and yet it’s entertaining so I’ll say that I had fun with
it. Wednesday, I ended up going to the T. Rex restaurant again to have
dinner there with family. It was a fun time there. After that I went to
DisneyQuest again, and this time they have a pinball there based on…
CSI! I swear, this is true. I couldn’t believe it. It’s not too bad,
though. I arrived home and as I pulled in, my car had 50,000 miles on
it exactly. Yes, that many miles and I’ve only had it for 27 months.
Yeah, I drive to wrestling shows and the trip to Illinois and other
places in August put on a few thousand to that, but I’ll try not to use
it as much as I’ve had before, as hey the second 50,000 will
undoubtedly have more problems with the car than the first 50,000, you
know.
Friday I plan on going to Busch Gardens with some members of my family;
it’ll be the first time I’ve been there in 5 years. No kidding. I
haven’t even gone on the heavily hyped SheiKra ride yet. I’m interested
in seeing how that is, and I’m sure I’ll have fun there. Sometime next
week I’ll probably post my next blog.
