Hey guys. Not really sure where to start this blog or really how to say the things that need to be said - regardless, I'll dive right in with a story. A story about a band that started many years ago in Orlando, FL. Over the past 9 years, they saw 26 states, sold over 10,000 records independently, but most importantly made thousands of fans and friends along the way. This message is for all of you, the fans and friends, that have made every moment a dream come true.
This is the biggest THANK YOU that we know how to write, the biggest THANK YOU that we know how to say, you are all amazing. With that being said, we regret to inform you that T13C! is going on a hiatus. Many of you who have been following us for the past 9 years know some of the struggles of being in a band and how member changes can affect not only the band but the fanbase. T13C! has seen 21 different band members come and go - and its been a wild ride. Mike and I have been with you guys every step of the way and its been a blessing to have shared the stage with so many awesome musicians. At the same time, it can become demoralizing when you have to constantly move backwards and teach old songs to new members -- and you reach a point where you're just trying to sustain yourselves to remain relevant in the music industry. In the last 5 shows we've played in FLA we've had 2 different drummers and 3 different guitarists. You can't imagine the countless practices and work, around the clock, to get a guitarist ready for a live T13C! set; not to mention, the feeling at every show when fans have no idea who they are going to see on the stage besides Andy, Mike Lo, and Joe Lo. Add-in the fact that we were robbed of most of our prized possessions before we left for tour, being in debt, and our new guitarist quitting the band when we got back from this recent tour, we were forced into something no one was prepared for. We are sad to say that we are ending one of the most memorable journeys of our lives so far and as difficult as this may be for some of you, please know that this has been incredibly difficult and sad for us too.
We're going to do a FAREWELL show in Ft. Myers, FL on November 13th @ Ethos hosted by our friends in After the Fact/The Absentee Ballot/Us vs. Them/Retro Light. The show is also a BENEFIT show for T13C! to help replace some of the items that were stolen from our tour van, so if you can make it out we'd love to see you. We'll be playing the show as a 4 piece so come out with your cameras, smiles and memories. We hope to see you all.
We truely love you all. Thank you for believing in T13C! Thank you for inspiring us! And thank you for the memories!
**We're going to post another blog in a week or so and let you guys know what we're all going to do individually after T13C!. So if you wanna stick around our myspace page for a few more weeks, we'd love to keep you guys posted on our lives.***
<3 you guys sooo damn much, Joe (T13C!)

You guys remember Julie Adams from Blog #10 right? Cool. Well, she let us crash at her place to escape the cold weather and sleeping in the van. The cool thing is that she lives on Fort Drum, one of the biggest Army Bases. . . The following took place between the hours of midnight and 1am on October 19, 2009.
Mike Lo: "Denis, grab the video and lets blog going into the base for the myspace video blog!"
Denis: "Okay, cool - good idea. Now recording."
Mike Lo: "Okay, I'm driving after the show and we're heading into Fort Drum to stay with a friend from the show tonight, I'm not sure if we can video this but we're about to find out, this should make a cool video blog!"
....we pulled up to the checkpoint....
Officer: "What are you doing? Who are you?"
Denis: "Just wanted to check with you first if we can video tape, we're a band from Florida on tour, T13C!"
Andy: (under his breath) Fall Out Boy
Officer: "You're commiting a Federal Offense, turn it off now. Show me the tape now. It's being deleted."
Denis: "Yes sir, that's why I wanted to ask first thing. This is our first time on a military base sir. You can come over and watch me delete it."
Officer: "I will."
Mike Lo: "Sorry sir."
Mikey T: (under his breath to Joe) WTF.
Officer: Where are you headed? I need to see everyones IDs, license, registration and proof of insurance and we're going to check your van now. And we need someone to open the trailer."
Mike Lo: "We're heading to Julie Adams house to stay the night."
Joe: "I'll open the trailer for you officer." (getting up from seat, opening side door of van)
Officer: GET DOWN. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. NO SUDDEN MOVEMENTS.
Joe: (pooped his pants a little) "Sorry sir."
Mikey T: "Why did we think this was a good idea... No sudden movements guys."
All our licenses and paperwork were taken and cleared. We were then asked to exit the van (in 20 degree weather) and to stand in front of the van. No sudden movements. Mike was to open the trailer while the rest stood motionless. 5 officers are now going through the van and trailer checking for bombs and contraband.
Officer: "All Clear."
T13C!: (shivering) "Thank you officers."
Officer: "Thank you."
At this point we're all back in the van trying to warm up and we're getting directions from the officers and now they are interested in the band and what we do realizing that we're not a threat (maybe I should have taken off my skele-gloves).
Denis: "You guys wanna buy some CDs and T-shirts?"
Officers: (laughing)
Mikey T: "No sudden movements."
Mike Lo: "We'll drop off some CDs in the morning for everyone. Thanks"
Turns out they wanted to double check we got to where we were going so they had a patrol car follow us. Turns out we got lost. Turns out Officer Smith was flippin cool and gave us a VIP escort to the house. We got a picture with him, signed a CD for his kids and gave him a few rockstars for him and his buddies on base.
Welcome to Fort Drum. Have a good night.

So after the show we got to Rob's house (Bloods Drummer). We got there late and stayed up eating ramen but we got to sleep in till noon so we were happy. We'll upload more pics from the last few days soon (including Andy sleeping in an indoor hammock)! Those of you who have GPS systems know that you can sometimes use an option to avoid toll roads. We chose that option that morning and 40 minutes into our drive we realized that it was taking us 120 miles out of the way to avoid paying tolls. It was still quicker at that point to turn around and start again, going to the tolls route. Blah. Mikey T was driving and obvious super thrilled. haha. We got to the venue at The Dungeon and loaded in and played first. It was just us and Young Bloods. Big shout outs to Jasmine!, Tori!, Nikki! and Julie Adams for coming out (Julie's husband is serving our country over in IRAQ). After the show and after the venue was cleared out we went upstairs bc the venue had a arcade, bounce houses, and laser tag! We got to challenge the Bloods to a friendly complementary game of laser tag (T13C! v. YOUNG BLOODS). You guessed it, we were ninjas, and we won. They insisted on a rematch and we gave in to their demands. But we just poured it on twice as bad, roming in sniper squads, destroying anything we saw. It was pretty much the best way to end tour with those guys, we had such a good time with them both sharing stages up the east coast and just hanging with them off stage. Listen/see them here: www.myspace.com/youngbloodsbandPs. Its 23 degrees here.

Category: Parties and Nightlife
Waking up wasn't as bad as we thought it would be after a night of partying but we weren't too excited to drive the 7 hours to Rochester, NY in the rain. But we were excited to meet back up with our boys in YOUNG BLOODS so we piled in the van and headed out. I (Joe) assumed first driving responsibilities and let the rest of the dudes sleep in the van. I think I fell asleep 27 times but like I said earlier, all is well that ends well, and the GPS woke me up a few times.... that, and all the farts they were doing in their sleep. haha.
With about 180 miles left to go I had to call it quits and we needed gas anyhow so we stopped in the middle of nowhere and the guys woke up. Mike Lo took up driving and Mikey T. sat up front with him to chat. I put on my CD player and went to snuggie heaven.
I woke up a few times to someone in the van yelling at the top of their lungs (I HAVE TO TAKE A MAJOR POOOOOP, PLEASE STOP NOW OR I HATE YOU). ps. The word poop was actually not used, it was the S word. Anyhow, after a few screaming sessions, I woke up and we were at the venue. Needlesstosay, that person went first thing when we got there. Then went again 20 minutes later. haha.
The venue was sick and it was nice to reunite with the Bloods. The crowd and scene wasn't a typical T13C! crowd and was geared more to the rock genre than the pop genre but we did what we're known for in 26 states and destroyed the stage. Young Bloods all came on stage and threw down when we played I'M ON A FLOAT to make the song even more epic than the hardcore breakdown we added to the end.
The show was really memorable and we met tons of new friends and fans. Thanks for a good time. Tomorrow night we're in Watertown, NY.
High-O!

Ok. So the last blog I hinted at a GIANT SPIDER and since I have posted some photos of it. And yes, Denis thinks its cool to own a lethal pet. He apparently doesn't know Sigfried and Roy and the dangers of having a pet that can kill you. PS. Mike and I are paranoid of spiders and slept in the same room as that thinggg (that only happened bc we were sooo exhausted and passed right out).
So we all got showers and a great toilet and we were off to Philly for the night. Half way to the show we get a call that it had been canceled so we called up some friends in West Chester and went straight to the after party sponsored by KEYSTONE LIGHT. LoLoL.
It was sooo cold outside and we had to park at a college parking lot and walk to their apartment, but alls well that ends well and we had a blast. Next stop on tour: Rochester, NY w/YOUNG BLOODS!!

New Jersey last night was SIQ!!! Thanks to Status Green for hooking us up with the show in Belmar, NJ at the 507 Main. It rained the whole way up (7 hours) from Virginia to Jersey and we were worried about turnout for the show. But Lou and his boys in Status Green promoted and packed the venue for us. Dan and the bar staff hooked us up with drinks all night and even some of our new friends we met there were taking care of us with shots of wiskey (thanks!). Needless to say, best show on tour not only for the hospitality but Jersey was very generous and merch sales were in the hundreds! By the end of the night Mikey T. was the only DD and he got us to Brooklyn. Crashing with Denis (aka THE COUNT) for the night.
We got in last night at 1am and were treated to a traditional feast with 4 meats and pasta meats and wrapped meats. Basically, heaven. We stuffed our faces once again and passed out happy!
ps. Where's the spider?? Did someone put it back in the atrium?? AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

After the Richmond show we were all CRAVING taco bell like whoa. So we GPS'd the hell out of the city to find one. Finally, we were on our way to burrito heaven. If you've never driven a 15 pass van and a trailer then you may not know this but you cannot fit though most drive-thrus. Which actually sucks. A lot. Therefore, it totally limits your meal options after a show when you're looking for a quick/inexpensive treat.
So after us parking the van and all 5 of us walking through the drive-thru, we were told that we were not allowed to walk up and order and that it was a security breach. WTF? After pleading with the manager at the drive up window on foot, she wasn't going to break from the 50 page taco bell handbook about serving walk ups.
Now we're back in the van, saddened by our series of unfortunate events we seek other alternatives. Arbys? can't fit. McDonalds? we've been there 4 times already. The BK Lounge? YES! Wait, they just closed the inside! Noooo! Denis jumps out of the van and walks up to the lobby of Burger King and pleads with the manager. She agrees and lets us in, then closes the store lobby. So now we're thrilled. We all put on the BK crowns, we're singing and dancing in the restaurant and taking pictures. It was beautiful (we'll post pics soon). Guess it doesn't take much to make us happy, now we're ready to drive to Grandma Lo's for 2 days off!
We got to Grandma's around 1:30am after the Richmond show and we all go almost immediately to bed. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow of sleeping and eating home cooked meals :) LOL
