Mick Boogie NBA All Star Weekend Recap from Phoenix
2.13-2.15/09

Lebron, Jay-Z, Sprite, Vitamin Water, MTV and more.......

....
Perhaps the most amazing All-Star weekend yet.......

An amazing weekend filled with high-end events.......

We started out Friday with an amazing event at The Mondrian... Vitamin Water's Nash Bash... crazy...Deejaying on a floating stage over the hotel pool while everyone from SteveNash to Eva Longoria partied the night away...  Special thanks to Marci and Lara at Vitamin Water, and Ashley at MKG.......

Saturday was by far the craziest
day... The biggest event of the entire weekend was of course the 3rd annual "Two
Kings" dinner... starring Lebron and Jay-Z... presented by Sprite Green. How do you deejay a dinner party and make it
rock?  Stay tuned... I think I might blog the playlist this week. With everyone
from Jay and Beyonce to Spike Lee and Chris Tucker dancing at their tables,
it was quite a night...  Special thanks to Strategic and Sprite!
....

After that, we headed over to rock the late-night set at club PHX with special performances from TheDream and Jadakiss.Special thanks to the fine folks at Kinetix and Hennessy for an amazing event.

Sunday night, we closed out with the MTV News party at Axis/Radius and ended the weekend on a great note. Special thanks to Dante, Shaheem and Rahman for throwing a cool finale event.

Thought I'd include a few of my favorite pics below...

The next-generation Michael Jackson... Chris Tucker getting deejay lessons........

My new name... Kurt Loder...

An honor to meet this  guy... and to have him
come up and tell me how much he enjoyed the music...Spike Lee's movies have
influenced so much in music and pop culture the last 20
years...

Fresh off the success of the internationally-acclaimed Viva La Hova, the MB team have reunited to introduce rock star Adele (nominated for 4 Grammy awards) to a whole new audience.

Adele's album 19 set trends and created influence in the pop, rock and international worlds. But what would happen if the vocals and instruments of 19 were combined with the hip-hop sensibilities of the late 1980s, considered by many hip-hop's golden age?

The result is the new release from Mick Boogie… Adele: 1988.

More than a mashup, it's a complete reinterpretation of Adele's album as only Mick Boogie and friends can do.

1. Chasing 1988: The Intro (f/ 6th Sense)
2. Day Dreams (nVMe Remix)
3. Tired (6th Sense Remix)
4. First Love (Remot Remix f/ Naledge)
5. My Same (Garbs Infinite Remix)
6. Melt My Heart To Stone (Kickdrums Remix f/ Big Pooh)
7. Cold Shoulder (Garbs Infinite Remix)
8. Right As Rain (nVMe Remix)
9. Make You Feel My Love (Remot Remix)

Download it here...
