Hey all, So we've got ourselves a special 2 week episode this week. As you all may know, next weekend is time for the North by Northeast Festival, and since a bunch of our bands are playing the festival this year, we figured we would play them all this week, so that way you can check them out if you are unsure who to see. On our page, you will notice a schedule of when all of the bands are playing and where, so you should be sure to go check them out and tell them Rear Window sent ya!

Also, this Saturday marks the 2nd of the TARA Secret Sessions and this week's act is Great Bloomers. If you didn't go last weekend, check out what you missed of The Ghost is Dancing's performance on Ryan's photo page.

Speaking of TARA Secret Sessions, there will also be a Special NXNE Edition, including TWO of our bands, Holler Wild Rose and The Paint Movement. So for all you people complaining that you can't afford NXNE, go see these 2 awesome bands and hang out at Dundas Square, it'll be the best free weekend of music ever.

Also, for you people who were worried about missing Twilight Hotel's NXNE set because of the inconvenient timing at the same time as Great Bloomers, now you can go this weekend and see BOTH bands! Or better yet, go see Twilight Hotel at The Eight Wine Bar (it's in the Cosmo Hotel) right after The TARA Secret Session and then you can catch one of the other 4 Rear Window bands playing at that exact same time.

Also, note that it's not on the Rear Window Radio NXNE schedule, but Innes Wilson and His Opposition will be playing at Sneaky Dee's on Sunday, June 21 as part of the Wavelength series, this one being the special NXNE edition.

So check it out, check out the bands at NXNE and enjoy this week's podcast.

Hey everyone, sorry about the lateness here, but we're all really busy working on a kick-ass show for next week, where we will be giving you the definitive guide of who to see at this year's North By Northeast (NXNE) festival, and by that we mean that next week's show will be all bands that we play (old and new) who will be playing at NXNE. We've got a lot of them, so prepare yourself for a hell of a show.

Also, a bunch of our Rear Window Radio bands are playing a series of shows entitled the TARA Secret Sessions, at The Audio Recording Acadamy (554 Queen St. East). If you are interested in attending, it's FREE, and next weekend (Saturday the 13th....oooooh) you can catch one of our favourites: Great Bloomers. For more information, check out www.myspace.com/secretsessionstara.

Congratulations to The Antlers for getting added to Pitchfork Music Festival. And guess what! A few days after that, they're coming to Toronto to open for Frightened Rabbit!

Lastly, do yourself a favour this Tuesday and get your ass to a record store and buy the new Illinois album The Adventures of Kid Catastrophe. We've been playing stuff off of it for the past couple of months now and it's about as solid an album that's been put out this year. Show them some love, they deserve it.

Oh, what do you know, we played them on our podcast this week too, along with some other great music.
