The songs loaded on our page are fairly old now, and feature us as a three piece with the famous Jeff Darling on bass back in 2005/early 2006.

But we are all working on new songs in the studio right now, with Filthy Rich (best experience for sure!)...and we'll have the songs up shortly!

The following is a review of our first CD "SUCH IS LIFE" from the February 2007 issue of ZiaZine! The CD and the magazine are available at all Zia locations:      (also at www.ziarecords.com/Magazine)

"Sometimes you gotta say f*** it/Sometimes you gotta let go/Or you're never gonna know," is the opening line from the CD's first track, "Philosophy," and it slams open the door to more of that rawness and honesty that is Tempe band the Fed-Ups. The three-piece does a heck of a job paying homage to straightforward, snotty '70s punk, and singer Dane Zimmerman's voice carries all the sass and rasp of the seminal vox masters, like Stiv Bators and the Pagan's Mike Hudson. Bassist Jeff Darling and drummer Jen Brooks are a tight and steady rhythm section while Zimmerman pounds out the guitar chords. Eleven tracks of punk-as-you-know-what rock-n-roll.

YEAH YEAH YEAH....Hoss is playing with the FED-UPS!!!
We love it...He has been a great friend to us for a long time, and we are honored that he has considered doing this shit with us! He wants to help us out for a bit (but I believe with some healthy manipulation --and a bit of sword slingin---we may be able to convince him to stick around!)

Our previous bass player, JEFF,  has decided to concentrate on other projects that suit his style better. We are sad to see him leave, but we understand that this shit ain't for everyone and completely respect his decision to move on. Best of luck to JEFF and the projects he is a part of (he is a phenom on bass, and surely has his plate full!)
