Finally, the other day Stefan/Josh finished up their lead vocal parts.  They sound real good...It's amazing how much bigger the voice sounds w/ great mic/preamp, When the mix is right I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.  Greg Smith from Committed (myspace.com/committedrock) came over the other day and we got him to do some harmonies..it was hilarious, we kept having to tell him to sing like stefan so the voices matched up..haha, good job greg! Ted will be doing screams during this next week w/ Josh and we will be doing MIDI(keyboard) arrangements/ rhythm arrangements in the next few weeks..Why do I get so excited over the saltshakers and tamborines? Hope everyone is having a good life, most of us are already if not almost on spring break, Have fun kids..Be safe. For those of you not on spring break, Friday is only 3 days away!!

Harsh Reaction and Acoustic G-Spot musicians Pure Sex involved in Nipple Scandle...How will their careers Survive?

We are finally done all of our guitar tracks/arrangements..We all are very pleased with how things are sounding and hope that things will continue this way until we are done.  As we have been a band for 8 years I do not want to rant on about how "amazing" everything is because if there is One thing I have learned about music production over the years is this..."Don't tell people it's 'Amazing' until it is DONE and you Know it is!"  I had to get that off my chest because I always hear of bands going off on their recordings but then they aren't as good as the band said when they are done, **cough cough, I am guilty of this in the past** ...

Anyway, this week we are doing "Vocal PreProduction" and I am going to be working with Stefan & Josh to figure out how to layer their voices/etc; as I am new to audio engineering.  The real vocals will begin in the weeks to come after our preamp is delivered.  This will be the last blog until vocals are done so I'll hopefully talk to you in little under a month!!

Hey guys, Glen here...we just finished up recording Josh's bass tracks tonite, Tuesday in the new year! They sound really good! If everything goes as planned we will be starting to record guitars by the end of the week but will have to stop soon after, as Santa surprised me with a gift to Universal Studios in Florida for a week but I am super psyched!!  So when I get back we will be picking up the pace once again and hopefully between going to school/working, we can all get stuff done while still having a good time...Also, Go check out our new pics to realize how exciting recording is, haha...10 hour days, the same 4 guys give or take our friend Kenny, it was hard at times definitely worth it.  Til Next time, Hope to see some of you at our show coming up in West Chester!

P.S. - When we record, what Ted will usually say is "SpeakerBox that Shit" when we want to hear our tracks back in the monitors for everyone to hear.  If the take is good, we usually say it is "SpeakerBox Worthy"...Me and Ted both love that as a potential band name...What do you all think, be honest.

whats goin on my fellow bloggers! we have talked alot about it and have decided that Harsh Reaction will be no more. Now hold up, dont get your panties in a bunch. We're still gonna be rockin, just not to the name harsh reaction anymore.  We made the name in 7th grade and it has served its purpose thus far, but now its time for a change! All the essense of Harsh Reaction will be kept intact.  No new styles or member changes, just a new name.  And we'd love to have your input!  If you have any suggestions for band names we'd love to hear them. Please leave us a comment or message or whatever with the name you think would fit us best.  Keep on rockin. We look forward to hearing your band name suggestions!
