Sabit Clothing Nyc Sabit, which is the Japanese term for "the best part of the song" or "the hook" is a premium Japanese streetwear collection. Inspired by the philosophy of Tanoshinde, the Japanese term for enjoy, designer Shoichi Amemiya has created a line of apparel infused with a unique spirit of optimism and subtle flare. The Japanese-born Amemiya is a veteran of Marc Ecko, where he acted as director of the outerwear division. He launched Sabit last year as a premium fashion denim and sportswear line. During Sabit's first season, MR magazine listed Sabit as "Editor's Best Of Fall '06". "Fall 06 will be the first delivery for Sabit and leave it the forward thinking stores like Atrium or Gerry's to book them for their floors. It's Japanese super cool style in reworked vintage pieces with great details. A buffalo plaid flannel jacket with a powerful purple lining and crazy leather trimmed jeans are definite standout pieces for the contemporary faux-hunter look." "This is Japanese influenced streeet couture", explains Amemiya, who has chosen to the line to Atrium, Gerry's, Pieces, Memes and Vinnie's Style, all in New York City. Sabit Spring 2007 is currently in stores. By: Wesley Clouden Mobile Media Content Producer

Watch YouTube in HD using a URL hack or Greasemonkey March 7, 2008 | By Wesley Clouden In Tips N Tricks | .. type="text/javascript" src="http://w.sharethis.com/widget/?tabs=web%2Cemail&charset=utf-8&style=default&publisher=d2942df7-bf29-437d-b4fb-586df91d4723">..> ShareThis You Tube announced last year (November) that they started to test higher quality videos. There are now a few samples of videos in YouTube that are uploaded and can be seen in a higher resolution. The regular version of YouTube videos have a 320×240 resolution and can be seen now with an upgrade of 448×336. The audio encoding is also said to have improved from the normal 22050Hz to 44100Hz.
To watch the videos in a higher resolution, all you have to do is add &fmt=6 to the end of the video URL (so the URL will have to look like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnVJZkDuVBM&fmt=6 ). You will notice a slight improvement in the resolution. This upgrade doesn't come without a price. The improvement in resolution will result to a slower download due to an increase in the size of the re-encoded video. To get a much higher resolution of 480×360, just add &fmt=18 at the end or the YouTube video URL. By doing this, there is a chance of getting an MP4-encoded version which also comes in a larger size. This trick does not work on all videos. It has been reported that newer videos can only be viewed in high resolution. If ever you don't want to go to all the trouble of placing the code on every video you visit in order to view it in improved resolution, there is another way of doing this with the use of Greasemonkey Firefox extension. If you do not have Greasemonkey installed in your Firefox, you can download it here. Then, install the YouTube HD script than can be found here. By doing this, you can view all the YouTube videos that have higher resolution automatically. However, if you feel that it is slowing down your streaming or the videos stopped loading, you can always disable the script in Greasemonkey by pressing right click on the monkey head at the bottom of your Firefox browser and unchecking the YouTube HD tag.
Note: In order for all of this to work, you need to have the latest version of Flash Player installed in your system. By:Wesley Clouden Mobile Media Content Producer

Where You Find the Time to Spend Online one of my good freinds. knowalage is power
Where do people find the time to do things like edit the Wikipedia? They watch less television, says author Clay Shirky in a fantastic, brief talk at the recent Web 2.0 conference. Shirky makes a compelling case that people are just learning how to deal with the "cognitive surplus" of free time modern life affords us. We're waking up from the "collective bender" of mindlessly watching sitcoms and instead, we're choosing instead to spend our free time volunteering, interacting, and Web 2.0'ing online. Hit the play button to watch Shirky make his case for the full effect, or hit the link below to read the text transcript of his talk. Next time your TV-watching friends make fun of you for opting to blog instead, point 'em to this talk.
