Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?
Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-..row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?
Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to gossip?
Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Bible?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?
Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mail's and they are forwarded right away, but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others?
IT'S STRANGE ISN'T IT?

Today I got a burden And I felt that I should pray, For God's spirit seemed to tell me, That you were having a bad day. I don't know just what that problem is, But I sure do know the cure, And if you'll only let Him, God will keep you safe and secure.
In life there's always problems, Cropping up to spoil our day, But my friend, you know the answer, All you have to do is "PRAY".
If you still feel you're defeated, And you want to run and hide, Just reach out, and I'll be there, Standing right there by your side.
So remember-- WHISPER JESUS, For he's just a prayer away, He's so close that you can touch Him, All you have to do is "PRAY". |

Please please take time to see this video.

Bound4LIFE is a grassroots prayer mobilization movement targeting the ending of abortion, the increase of adoptions and the reformation of government and society through spiritual awakening. Our mission is to mobilize a groundswell of prayer through: “Silent Sieges” in front of courthouses and abortion clinics across the nation. Millions of Christians wearing “Life Bands” and making the Bound4LIFE covenant–PRAY, VOTE & OBEY. When LIFE tape is placed over our mouths, we are identifying with the silent screams of the unborn and of those who have no voice. Our stand is not a protest, but a silent prayer meeting. We make our appeal to the Judge of the earth and ask Him for speedy justice to be released. Oh that God would subpoena the conscience of the nation!
The media has taken hold of this image and spread it everywhere. It has quickly become a phenomenon that catches the eyes and hearts of the world.
In our silence, we intercede on behalf of our nation and cry out to God for mercy. It is a silence that speaks louder than words. We m

The Silent Siege“Lay siege against it, build a siege wall against it… Set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it.” (Ezekiel 4:2-3 NKJV)
A Silent Siege is just this—we build up a wall and stand in the gap on behalf of our nation (Ezekiel 22:30). It is an incredible strategy given to us in a dream from the Lord. The media has taken hold of this image and spread it everywhere. It has become a phenomenon that catches the eyes and hearts of the world. When we make a stand outside of a courthouse or an abortion clinic, our stand is for life, justice and mercy.
When LIFE is written on a piece of red tape and placed on our mouths, we are identifying with the silent cries of the unborn and of those who have no voice.
Our stand is not a protest, but a silent prayer meeting. We make our appeal to the Judge of the earth and ask Him for speedy justice to be released. It is a plea— “Oh, that God would subpoena the conscience of America!”
We dream of the day when all 740 abortion clinics in America will have long lines of people, young and old alike, standing strong on sidewalks praying and fasting with LIFE covering their lips. If 740 churches would rise up and take on one abortion clinic each with sustained fasting and prayer, what would happen?

StatisticsThe following are facts and statistics gathered from the most-cited sources regarding abortion. Ultimately, to know the truth is to know more than just the facts and numbers. Truth is a person, so it’s not an encounter with an idea that will adequately change us. It is an encounter with God that will bring true transformation. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” Minds can be swayed by facts, but an encounter with the Lord changes both hearts and minds.
Abortion WorldwideAnnually, 46 million babies die from abortion worldwide. That’s approximately one baby being aborted every two seconds. Abortion in the United StatesAn estimated 50 million babies have been aborted since 1973. Approximately 24% of all U.S. pregnancies end in abortion. Characteristics of Women Having AbortionsOver half (56%) of all women having abortions between 15-44 are in their 20’s. Nearly eight in 10 U.S. women obtaining an abortion report a religious affiliation. 43% are Protestant 27% are Catholic 8% are other religions 41% of women having abortions are white, 32% are black, and 20% are hispanic.
Black and Hispanic women have higher abortion rates than non-Hispanic white women. Black women’s abortion rates are 49 per 1,000, Hispanic women’s are 33 per 1,000 and non-Hispanic white women’s are 13 per 1,000. According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the most recurrent characteristics of women having abortions over time are nonwhite, poor and unmarried. Reasons For Abortion
98% Personal Choice (unwanted or inconvenient) 1.7% Life/Health of Mother or Child .3% Rape/Incest Abortion by Gestational Age
African American CommunityAccording to the CDC, each year 616,074 African Americans are born. 458,500 babies will have died from abortion. 284,877 blacks will have died that same year through anything from natural causes to heart disease. There are 743,377 Africans Americans dying yearly. This number is 127,303 more than those that are born. From 1973 to 2004, nearly 30% of the black population were erased through abortion. Out of the average 4,400 babies dying daily that are reported abortions, an estimated 1,300 are African American. They account for 32% of women having abortions yearly, yet make up only 13% of the American population. African American women are 3 times as likely to have an abortion than other women.

Current mood: determined
Man has nothing to do with Gods promise. Man began to realize that God doesn't need the help of man. Not his potency nor his potential perform his word in your life. In fact man can be totally oblivious to what God has spoken in your life. You can be controversial and criticized by man, but if God says he's going to something in your life. God will do it and man can't stop.
"Man has nothing to do with God's Promise"
I don't know what God has promised you. I'm sure that he has not promised you, what he promised Mary. I'm sure your not to birth a physical Jesus Christ. Maybe your birthing a business, maybe your birthing a family, maybe your birthing a ministry maybe your birthing a vision, and maybe you don't see the natural resources and the support for what ever it is what you have to do in your spirit and God has spoken something in your spirit and you staggering at the promise of God, saying "Lord I can't do this, I don't have enough help, I don't have enough support, I don't have enough people" But God wants you to understand that man has nothing to do with God's promise.
If God promises you something, he is able to bring it to pass. The bible said the spirit of God over shadowed Mary that it came upon her and what you need to full fill the promise of God is not so much to confer with men , but to confer with God. I am convinced we spend to much time spending seeking the approval of people. Man will approve you one moment and disapprove you the next moment.
People are so fickle they'll change their mind on you in a moment. If you build on the opinions of people, what ever you build will crumble and come to ruin. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness.
You don't have to have man's approval. You don't have to have man's resources. You don't have to have man's money. You don't have to be able to afford it. You don't have to see your way clear. People don't have to embrace you, endorse you, or support you, in fact they can criticize you. Nobody can curse what God has blessed.
If God Blessed you sometimes you got to stand your ground and be tenacious and say He that has began a good work in my life, shall perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
I would to God that we had more people that were willing to be controversial, that would willing to be criticized. We have so many people that are political correct, trying to be polite, trying to fit in, trying to be a politician, trying to make everybody love them.
Sometimes you have to feel the fear and do it anyway. Feel the controversy and do it anyway. Because man has nothing to do with God's promise.
I don't know what you believing God to do. How difficult, how impossible, how tenacious you have feel you have to be. I want you to know that man has nothing to do with God's promise. I dare you to allow that promise to kick in your womb and to stay alive in your spirit and to be tenacious enough to hold onto your dream, If you hold onto it God will bring it to pass.
Don't abort your baby!!
It may be hard, it maybe difficult, it maybe controversial, you may have pain, you may not have support, you may not have friendship, you may not have the endorsement of people you respect. But if God started something in your life don't abort it because you run into a little trouble and a little opposition. In fact pain is an indication that BIRTH is getting close.
Great things are often born outside of the system. The bible said that when Mary bear down to deliver her baby, there was no room at the inn. No organized support. No system No structure to accommodate what she was going to deliver. But this woman was so pregnant with destiny, that she understood that great things can be born outside of the system. Sometimes the system will lock you out. It will shut the door and say you can't come in. It will leave out in the cold at a vulnerable moment. See its one thing to be locked out, but it's another thing to be locked out in a vulnerable moment. But you have to understand that great things are born outside of the system. Don't wait for the system to open up the door or make room for what God has put down inside of you. God has a way of doing great things in strange places, obscure places, alienated places, rejected places, who but God would birth a king in a barn. God will step out of the system and let everyone know you don't have to let my child in for my prophecy to come to pass. Great things are often born outside the system.
Many people have given up on their dream and promise, because the system said there is no room for what you believe, there's no room for you faith, there's no room for you conviction, there's no room for Christianity, there's no room for you to carry your cross, there's no room for the 10 commandments, there's no room for your faith to be exhibit, they make room for everything else, but when it comes faith the world is always saying there is no room for you.
You may have to bear down in a barn, with nothing around you but oxen and cattle and you may have to give birth to your dream and wrap it up in swaddling clothes. But the circumstance does not diminish the greatness of the concept. Don't let circumstance intimidate you. It may not be the ideal circumstance, but it can still be the ideal promise.
Get outside the system. It's too organized. It's too tight. It's too ritualistic. It's too restricting. It's too confining. If your going to do a great thing you got to step outside the system, think outside the box, do something that nobody has ever done before. Redefine history, change destiny. Great things are born outside the system!
Everything the Lord did, he did it outside the system, he did outside the political system, he did it outside of the religious system. Nobody hated Jesus like church people. Jesus was more controversial that religious people than circular people. IT was the Pharisees, church folk that always trying to kill him. But he worked outside the system, he was born outside of the system, he died outside the system. The Book of Hebrews said that he died, outside the gates of Jerusalem. They shut the gate on him and he hung his head and stretched himself wide and died outside the gate, he died outside of the system so that all of us who have ever been rejected by the system, would have an opportunity to be able.
I want to thank God for putting Jesus where I can reach him. I don't have to buy my way in. I don't have to politic my way in. Nobody has to vote me in. Nobody has to like me. If God before me, he's more that the world against me. Thank God for putting Jesus where I can get him. I can find him even if I'm in a barn. I can find him even if I'm in a deplorable situation. I can find him even if I'm in a jail cell. I can find him in the palace. They can't block him away from me. Because great things are often born outside the system. In fact if you do what God call you to do, let the system catch up with you later.
The system runs behind. The system runs behind creative minds. It's always late. It's always a day late and a dollar short. The system never wants to give you anything until you already become successful. Once your successful anybody will give you anything, but while you struggling out in the barn nobody will bless you but God, but if God be for you, he's more than the world against you.
I use to cry because I was rejected outside of the system, but as I kept on walking with God I learned to dance because I was rejected outside of the system. In fact I want to go back and Thank all the people that rejected me, thank you for shutting me out, Thank you for locking doors. I'm glad you didn't help me, because if you would of helped me. you can say you made me who I am. But God helped me!
I hope the Spanish translation is correct.

Las Vegas Warriors it's time to bring this city to God. No longer we will allow to be called "Sin City". We declare our city, "City of Grace" We stand our ground and push forward.
In a dream God gave me, I was awoken by THUNDER! its raining in vegas yay! Just typed what came to my mind. Please read Nehemiah 4 especially Bound4LIFE chapter leaders God brings this to us. Take it as you wil , this is how i took it. More time I will re visit this word.
Nehemiah 4
We stand in the gap and build the wall, we get ridiculed and insulted for building the wall. The enemy gets angry and plots war against us. We must build and build the wall if it falls we must rebuild. We work with with one hand and hold our sword in the other. Do not forget your bibles. They will all plot together to come and fight against us and stir up trouble against it. But we pray to our God and we post a guard day and night to meet this threat "intercesors". We cannot rest or take off a day , The enemy does not rest. "The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall.
Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!"
(Nehemiah 4) When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews,
and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, "What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?"
Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, "What they are building—if even a fox climbed up on it, he would break down their wall of stones!"
Hear us, O our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity.
Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of the builders.
So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart.
But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the men of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem's walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry.
They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it.
But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.
Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, "The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall."
Also our enemies said, "Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work."
Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, "Wherever you turn, they will attack us."
Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows.
After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes."
When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to his own work.
From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah
who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other,
and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me.
Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall.
Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!"
So we continued the work with half the men holding spears, from the first light of dawn till the stars came out.
At that time I also said to the people, "Have every man and his helper stay inside Jerusalem at night, so they can serve us as guards by night and workmen by day."
Neither I nor my brothers nor my men nor the guards with me took off our clothes; each had his weapon, even when he went for water. "
We are calling for all whose hearts burn for mercy and justice to help us raise up a powerful grassroots movement that will plead the Blood of Jesus over the sins of our nation and move people to action.
The Bound4LIFE Las Vegas chapter invites the Body of Christ in this region not to protest but to pray. Our silent prayer sieges are non-violent acts of prayer. We stand before the courts of heaven in silence as we pray over our nation, city, and clinic for the ending of abortion.
This is a non-violent revolutionary movement of righteousness that will sweep through America and establish a culture of LIFE. thx Chicago To that end, we are BOUND FOR LIFE!

THE DOCTRINE OF THE SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD
I. THE CERTAINTY OF BLOOD GUILT
A. Prayer that is born out of a burden. The "Oh" in the prayer of Jabez gives it burden. We know Him in willingness to answer prayer. We believe that God will end abortion in America. B. Abortion is a civil rights issue – the unborn have no voice to protect their lives. C. Surely blood requires blood in God's judgment. God so highly values humanity that He protects it with His severe judgment. A day of reckoning is set if man does not obey Him. 5 Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man. 6 "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. (Gen. 9:5-6) D. Where there is shedding of innocent blood, there is no atonement for the land. There is a blood pollution problem on America's soil. The most "dangerous terrorist" is not Islam, but God. One of God's names is "the Avenger of Blood." Have you worshipped that God yet? He loves babies. Nothing can wash away our defilement expect the blood of Jesus 33 So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it. (Num. 35:33) E. We need a clear doctrine on the issue of shedding innocent blood F. God raises up intercessors who stand before Him to stop God's judgment. The intercessor says, "God, kill me before You kill them." We do not need intercessors to call down judgment, but those who cry for mercy. Judgment will come automatically because of sin unless the plea of mercy stops God by this in friendship with Him. We want to be intercessors for America as God's friends who call God to remember and hold back His hand of judgment and show mercy 23 Therefore He said that He would destroy them, Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them. (Ps. 106:23) G. Blood pollution comes on the land when innocent blood is shed. That sacrificing of babies is fueling the demonization of our nation. A day of reckoning is coming to the US without God's mercy through intercessors and action to stop abortion. 37 They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, 38 and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood….40 Therefore the wrath of the LORD was kindled against His people, so that He abhorred His own inheritance. (Ps. 106:37-40) H. The dream of the three veins of blood on America's soil – blood of naïve Americans, slavery, and abortion. This blood breaks God's heart. Abortion shatters a dream in God's heart. History is changed by one baby born after another. I. The raising up of priestly ministry is to bring forth the blood of the Lamb on behalf of shed blood. Individual guilt and communal guilt must be atoned for. When the blood is shed by a national law, then there is national guilt on us all. "If anyone is found slain, lying in the field in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess, and it is not known who killed him, 2 then your elders and your judges shall go out, and they shall measure the distance from the slain man to the surrounding cities. 3 And it shall be that the elders of the city nearest to the slain man will take a heifer which has not been worked and which has not pulled with a yoke. 4 The elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with flowing water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer's neck there in the valley. 5 Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come near, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister to Him and to bless in the name of the LORD; by their word every controversy and every assault shall be settled. (Deut. 21:1-5) J. We need a clear doctrine on the issue of shedding innocent blood Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD. (2 Kings 21:16) For he (Manasseh) had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon. (2 Kings 24:4) K. Bob Jones told Lou that the USA would not be forgiven for innocent blood L. Ruth Graham – if God does not judge America, He must apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. M. Lou says, "If God judges America, then the Church will have to apologize to the USA N. We build the tombs of the prophets and declare that we would not commit their sins. However, America builds memorial service to Lincoln, Wilberforce, and Martin Luther King, Jr. etc. We confess this, yet our silence ..ion proves our guilt and our confession brings guilt on us. In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. (Lk. 11:48) Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30 and say, ' If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.' (Mt. 23:29-30) O. God has an issue with America related to abortion. that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. (Mt. 23:35) Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. 48 In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. 49 Therefore the wisdom of God also said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,' 50 that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation,(Lk. 11:47-50) P. God's justice may be slow in the way it is meted out. However, suddenly in one generation the sins are required for the sins of past generations. Lincoln cried out that God's judgments would come to USA because of slavery. Lincoln understood the civil war was God's judgment on USA. "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. (Gen. 9:6) Q. The Civil War was the day for reckoning for America for the bloodshed of slavery – 600,000 men died in the God's day of reckoning in America for slavery. If we do not deal with this blood in the courts of man, then it will be dealt with in the court of God R. What will it mean for God to deal with us for the shed blood of 50 million babies? Allen Hood had a dream of his sons in military fatigues. IHOP's youth will not be at IHOP, but will be in military uniforms in foreign nations. We must stop abortion in America to stop this. II. THE DAY OF RECKONING IN THE SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD
A. There are times when God comes to deal with nations. He waits to judge some individuals but nations are not eternal so they are judge now. We inquire of the Lord for secrets to unlock justice. We must inquire of the Lord in His sanctuary. B. Saul's house is his government that killed people unjustly. David understands that it is the day of reckoning for Saul's past sin 1 Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David inquired of the LORD. The LORD answered, "It is because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites." (2 Sam. 21:1) C. The atonement of Num. 33 is referred to David 2 So the king called the Gibeonites and spoke to them. Now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; the children of Israel had sworn protection to them, but Saul had sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah. 3 Therefore David said to the Gibeonites, "What shall I do for you? And with what shall I make atonement, that you may bless the inheritance of the LORD?" (2 Sam. 21:2-3) D. If we do not find a "before the Lord intercessors" our children will be hung "before the Lord" in death. We must get back into God's favor. Seven men of Saul's sons are hung before God. Why did not David kill an animal instead of humans? This is what happened in the Civil War retribution. 4 And the Gibeonites said to him, "We will have no silver or gold from Saul or from his house, nor shall you kill any man in Israel for us." So he said, "Whatever you say, I will do for you." 5 Then they answered the king, "As for the man who consumed us and plotted against us, that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the territories of Israel, 6 let seven men of his descendants be delivered to us, and we will hang them before the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD chose." And the king said, "I will give them." (2 Sam. 21:4-6) E. David's oath spared not because Mephibosheth deserved it, but because God honored an oath. 7 The king spared Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, because of the LORD's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul. (2 Sam. 21:7) F. 2 Sam. 21: seven men had to pay the price of innocent blood shed G. David delivered them to death "before the Lord". People must die if innocent blood is shed. He delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them on the hill before the LORD. So they fell, all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest. (2 Sam. 21:9) H. Day and night she fights off the birds like Abraham when he made covenant with God. Abraham was taking the place of respect in honoring the body of Jesus in His future death. Rizpah was an intercessor (like Abraham) in the day of reckoning. We want to be intercessors now…not in the day of retribution. David was not moved until he heard about Rizpah, the intercessor. Then God heard and healed the land because atonement had been made.10 Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth and spread it for herself on the rock, from the beginning of harvest until the late rains poured on them from heaven. And she did not allow the birds of the air to rest on them by day nor the beasts of the field by night. (2 Sam. 21:10) 11 And David was told what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done. 12 Then David went and took the bones of Saul, and the bones of Jonathan his son, from the men of Jabesh Gilead who had stolen them from the street of Beth Shan, where the Philistines had hung them up, after the Philistines had struck down Saul in Gilboa. 13 So he brought up the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from there; and they gathered the bones of those who had been hanged. 14 They buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the tomb of Kish his father. So they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God heeded the prayer for the land. (2 Sam. 21:11-14) I. Lou's dream – prayer movement will carry the mantel of Martin Luther King, Jr. for the unborn. The blood of the whip (slavery) must be atoned for by the blood of the sword (Civil War). We must start a Martin Luther King movement to stop abortion. We vow to never vote for a person who will uphold abortion. James Dobson made this vow in May 1980. J. It is not enough that Jesus died. Someone must apply the blood of Jesus to the national sin of USA. K. We are building God a wall of intercession around the Supreme Court in Washington, DC L. Through Isaiah, God said He was tired of Israel's worship services and festivals because blood was on their hands M. God will drive abortion like a wedge into the coming elections. N. Prayer is the most powerful dimension of social justice O. Lou has a dream of a Pro-Life California because of the Latino vote Credits-Lou Engle

English/Spanish below First of let's talk about the reasons we don't pray? I'm too busy. You need to develop an attitude about time that is similar to the one you have about money. The more time you give God, the more time you have from God. Following the principle of sowing and reaping, God will give back what you give to Him, then He increases it. Most people are busy, but not too busy to pray. I'm too dry.
You might not feel like praying. If you waited until you felt like praying you would pray very little. Jesus told his disciples that they should always pray and not give up (Luke 18:1). Should is an act of the will. Simply make yourself do it. It's a spiritual discipline. Certainly you should pray every time you feel led to pray, but for the most part, you lead yourself to prayer. I'm too lazy This is not something you'd like to admit. Prayer itself is not difficult. You will never run out of things to pray for. The biggest obstacle is making the decision to pray. Once you are in the place of prayer, it's not that difficult to pray. The struggle is getting yourself in that position. Getting up out of the easy chair or out of that warm bed in the morning, turning off the TV or radio, and putting yourself in a position to pray is where most of the battle lies. I'm too in LoveThis is something that makes you go blind. We start dedicating more and more time to the girldfriend/boyfriend and less and less time to God. You rather go watch a movie on a Friday night for personal pleasure than to pray for the Sick, The Poor, The Unborn etc, etc. There is a time for everything your priority should be God first by your side and everything else follows him behind him. Not on top of your list over your head and everyone below him , then you go trough all the things on your list just to get to God. I'm too PerfectThis is something some of you would like to admit. My life is so perfect I don't have to pray. I'm doing good in school, I have a boyfriend/girlfriend, I go to church every service. Everything is fine. I take myspace pics and post them up all day. OH YEA WHAT ABOUT YOUR BRETHERN!!! What about them????? What about the crime in your city. What about the family that goes to your church and has nothing to eat at home? Open your eyes CHURCH, WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP, Stop being selfish we have to pray for everyone, everything. "And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses. " Nehemiah 4:14 " So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. "Ezekiel 22:30 So I invite to come prayer for all your petitions and especially the unborn. The Blood of 600,000 men was spilled during the civil war due to slavery. What kind of reckoning will God bring with the death of 50,000,000 babies?

Would like to share once again on the picture I have on my profile that says free from Religion. I get alot of heat from it, but they dont read the rest. This is what I think so please Read Carefully.
Religion-
1.An organized system or institution of beliefs based upon the traditions of man instead of the pursuit of friendship with God 2. The act of playing Church, exchanging internal truths for external performance, substituting spiritual realities with carnal rituals.
Religion is all about me Religion encourages us to seek out what is best for ourselves. Even the gospel message is often presented with an emphasis on what we get out of it. If we have faith or if we have works (depending on your beliefs) we get eternal life. The focus is entirely on us.
Religious practice is almost always done for our good. We read the bible for us. We pray for us. We go to church for us. It is about what we should do for God to fulfill his blessings on us. We look at passages about faith moving mountains and therefore we teach people that "they should have faith" so that we can get healed or so that we can prosper.
Sin can very easily be summed up as selfishness. If we carry that selfishness into our religion than we have not changed; we are merely sinners in a new context and we use religion as justification for our pursuit for self gratification. We are Christians so that we can get into heaven.
The reality is that the gospel is not about us at all. It is about God and His tireless pursuit of us and His glory being shown by our redemption. From this perspective our squabbles about our salvation being from our works or our faith appear petty and are exposed for the selfish talk they truly are.
Religion focuses our attention on the wrong things Religion focuses our attention on our practices rather than on people or God. We are more concerned with organizing our services than on feeding the poor. We spend far more on Church buildings than on fighting poverty. Our concern is about maintaining our religious practices over anything else. I have never heard of a Church that has decided to cancel a Sunday Service so that they can spend the time in the community.
In fact, I would suggest that the western Church currently exists for the sole purpose of facilitating or disseminating religion among its members. A church just isn't a church unless it holds services, or has an organizational structure, or runs programs. Whilst some churches may be concerned about the community their actions in the community are not what are usually perceived when thinking about a church.
In similar fashion, when thinking about our own personal state we often tick off a check list of spiritual practices. Am I going to church? Yes. Am I reading the bible? Yes. Am I praying regularly? Yes. I must be doing ok as a Christian then. We measure ourselves by the practices people tell us we should do rather than ask "Is my heart in the right place?" or "Am I intimate with God?" or "Am I learning?" Yet again our emphasis is on religious practice instead of where it should be.
Religion makes us forget how desperate we are Religion suggests to us the preposterous idea that by following a formula we can somehow improve ourselves. A typical formula is as follows: "By reading the bible, I increase my spiritual knowledge". The idea is that by the adherents own efforts in reading the bible they can increase their own knowledge. This suggests that we are not entirely defendant on God.
Instead of living in a relationship with God whereby God says, "Today I am going to teach you something so open your bible" we think "I am going to learn something by reading my bible" as discussed earlier the emphasis is on us. The reality is that our religious practices are completely empty without God. The practice of reading our bible doesn't teach us, God does.
We think we can become healthy Christians by following a routine of Church going, praying, and bible reading. There is nothing wrong with these things, but they become corrupted when we think that our own work in following these practices is responsible for our own spiritual growth. We forget just how lost and hopeless we are without God and eventually we end up caught in our practices not knowing that God left us to our own devices long ago.
Religion is superficial Religion is more about what we are doing on the outside than about what is happening on the inside. Our concern is far more with what people are doing than who they are becoming. A common frustration for me is that people are far more concerned with what I do on a Sunday morning than whether I am showing fruit of the spirit, or whether I am engaged in a Christian community during the week.
There are many people who have been in religion for a very long time who are devoid of spiritual fruit. These sad people have perfected religious practices but have become numb to the conviction of God. They turn up to Church wearing their Sunday best every week, they sport large smiles, and they can repeat the bible verse by verse. However, they'll spread rumours behind your back, they will disassociate with you if you do not live up to their standards, and they will complain if anything is "out of order".
Someone is an expert at religion if they read their bible every week, but there is no requirement on how that influences their life. This is why people can read about starving Jesus in Mathew 25 and then walk past the hungry on their way to Church. Meanwhile they are completely blind to their fault because they measure their progress against their religious activity instead of their character.
Religion causes us to judge Because religion is superficial, it makes it easy to judge people based on what we see. In a recent post on x3church a story is told of an ex-porn producer who is now being questioned by the CPS (child protective services). Some Christian thought that because this sinner's past did not live up to his standards that he must be a horrible father.
Why can't we understand that we are all sinners? We are all sickos. We are all wretches. How dare we assume that because someone does not live up to our superficial standards that they must be worse than us? Because religion is superficial and because religion makes us forget how desperate we are it makes it easy for us to condemn others.
Although I spend many hours praying, I am just as much a sinner as someone who does none. Although I have many years of church experience I am still as desperately in need of God's grace as a drug addict, or a prostitute, or an atheist. Compared to God we are all nothing, this is the great equalizer.
Religion stops us from thinking about what we are doing, Religion encourages us to just do our practices rather than stop and ask "why?" It is naturally assumed that going to Church is good for us. We have been told this since we became Christians. We may have even been told some reasons for this.
But we never really ask "Why do we 'go to' Church?", "Why do we dress up?", "Why do we come together just so that we can listen to a sermon?", "Why do we need a church building?", "Why do we have to follow a set program?", or "Why do we pay for all this expensive equipment?"
When you begin to ask this you may find that church is an end in itself or you may find a greater reason to attend church than you have ever had before. I am culling a few of my religious activities at the moment upon realizing that they were a waste of time. For other people these activities could be highly useful. The important issue is that we do things for a purpose and not just because we have been told it is a good thing to do.
Religion limits imagination Religion limits us to a set of pre-defined practices rather than encouraging us to find unique solutions to problems. Admittedly there are many exceptions to this rule, but often people have to force themselves to think outside the box rather than letting it be a natural thing.
Here is a theoretical example. Say you want to teach a group of young youths about poverty. The most common first reaction would be to hold a talk on it, maybe show a video someone had done. Then you may consider doing a study on poverty. Chances are that your last thought would be to take them into the city for the night and show them poverty.
Sermons or presentations or studies are typical religious practices. Therefore they are the first things that come into our mind when we want to address a spiritual issue. Someone may be having trouble understanding something. Our first piece of advice may be "read the bible more" but perhaps they really need to pray more. Because religious practice is formulaic we look at what we want and then find the correct formula to get it.
Religion partitions our lives Religion partitions our lives into "my time" and "God's time", "my money" and "God's money", "my space" and "God's space". Our religious activities occur during a particular time and thus we allocate time during our day for God then we live the rest of our secular lives without Him. We allocate 10% of our money for the offering, and then we spend the rest on our own pleasures. We allocate buildings for Church services and we make sure we don't desecrate them with swearing or by wearing hats, but once we are outside we wear hats and swear.
All of my life belongs to God. I must think not just about how I give money, but also about how I spend money because all of my money belongs to God. I must spend my time with God all day and not just during my allocated "quiet time". I must act outside of Church just as I do inside Church. My life is a sacrifice to God, not my practices.
This partitioning allows us some form of security. We can say we are praying for the lost without going out and talking to them. We can say we are reading our bible's whilst walking past the hungry on our way to Church. We are doing what religious practice dictates we 'should' do and by doing so we safely put God in His place.
Religion is impersonal Religion suggests a "cookie cutter" solution for a diverse range of people. It suggests that everyone will benefit from reading their bible, without acknowledging that God may want to teach someone in another way at the moment. It suggests that everyone will learn by going to Church without realising that someone may learn more by spending that time eating breakfast with the disadvantaged.
Perhaps someone needs a conversation more than a sermon? Perhaps someone needs to weep rather than jump around to contemporary worship songs?
A religious person thinks that because 'X' works for them that it must work for others. Surely that person should say that 'X' worked for them, but they shouldn't present this as a formula for success. If Moses was around today he might tell us that burning bushes are excellent ways to talk to God. Peter might tell us that walking on water is an excellent way to build faith. Paul might tell us that hunting down Christians in Damascus is a great way to meet Jesus.
(I openly confess to being guilty of this myself)
People are different and God works in different ways in different people. We should absolutely share our experiences, but don't let us think that we are the standard. What if someone does do 'X' and it doesn't work.
Would you have them be discouraged because it 'should' of?
Religion causes us to place formula before romance In my mind the greatest problem with religion is that it places practices over a unique, intimate, and romantic relationship with God. You will never get a wife by following a formula, and so God did not woo you by following a formula. Nor will your relationship with God develop by following a formula.
Our relationship with God is a passionate and exciting thing. It is untamed, it is exhilarating, and it is unpredictable. That relationship comes before any formula. Jesus did not come to teach you what to do in order to meet God; He came to introduce you directly.
I doubt that your relationship with God will fit within the box of religion. It will challenge you where religion doesn't go. It will cause you to do things that religion never touches. God does not want robots that know what to do; He wants people who know who He is.
"Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.
Away from me, you evildoers!'" – Mathew 7:22-23 credit: God's Samurai

"- Mateo 7:22-23
