The recent subprime mortgage meltdown and subsequent meltdown of a Bear Stearns hedge fund that invested heavily in subprime mortgage securities has caused quite a bit of heartache in global capital markets, leaving the Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 averages down for the month of July.  But speaking of meltdowns, check out Jim Cramer absolutely freaking out two minutes into this video while discussing Bear Stearns CFO Sam Molinaro's statement that this was the "worst credit market in 22 years".  This is one of the best live on-air meltdowns I've seen recently.  Onto the screaming:

South Carolina's Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said Tuesday, August 7, 2007, he will introduce legislation to replace all paper Social Security cards with plastic biometric cards that "can't be duplicated", so employers can be certain of the legal status of their workers.  Because of course, businesses that hire illegals would be absolutely shocked to find out that Umberto the bus boy's social security card, made with perforated business card stock from Staples, and signed in Crayola crayon, might not be authentic.
