BIG SCREEN'S "BABYSITTER WANTED" WINS AT WEEKEND OF FEAR
Hollywood, CA -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC:BSEG) is proud to announce that its film, "Babysitter Wanted," has won the Audience Award at Germany's respected "Weekend of Fear" International Festival of Horror. The festival, started 17 years ago in Nuremberg German, has become one of the premiere destinations for independent genre films.
"Babysitter Wanted" starring Matt Dallas ("Kyle XY"), Sarah Thompson ("Seventh Heaven"), Bill Moseley (The Devil's Rejects, Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Bruce Thomas (Legally Blonde), Kristen Dalton (The Departed) and Nana Visitor (Deep Space Nine) who was recently cast as the mother in the new "Friday the 13th," has been receiving terrific pre-release reviews.
The German audience's response was extremely positive, with one reviewer stating that "Babysitter Wanted" is a cross between the horror classic, "The Omen" and Eli Roth's "Hostel."
Internationally, Lions Gate will be distributing the film in the UK.
"Babysitter Wanted" is making its 35mm, theatrical debut at the Cannes Film Market on May 18th at the Olympia Theater 8.
Big Screen's newly formed distribution venture, "The Independent Film Company" (TIFC) will be selling all other international territories for "Babysitter Wanted," beginning with this year's Cannes market. TIFC has acquired more than thirty titles for its distribution pipeline.

BIG SCREEN’S "BABYSITTER WANTED" TO SCARE
AUDIENCES IN GERMANY
Big Screen Entertainment Group’s (OTC:BSEG) horror thriller "Babysitter Wanted" has been invited to screen at the 12th annual "Weekend of Fear" film festival May 1-3 in Nuremberg, Germany.
..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Weekend of Fear (WOF) is a "cult" festival for all fans and makers of horror, thriller, science fiction, and obscure movies. Former guests of the festival include, Peter Jackson, Joerg Buttgereit, Lloyd Kaufman, Olaf Ittenbach, Timo Rose, Uwe Boll, Paul Spurrier and many more.
"We’ve held back selling the film into the German market as well as many other major foreign territories until we unveil the completed 35mm print of the picture at this year’s Cannes International Film Market. Having the film screen at Weekend of Fear 2008, a few weeks before Cannes, will certainly increase German exposure and should benefit our sales across Europe," stated BSEG CEO Kimberley Kates.
LionsGate UK recently purchased "Babysitter Wanted" for the UK for release this fall.
"Babysitter Wanted" will also screen at the Horrorfest in Denver, Colorado from April 18-20. The festival runs in conjunction with the STARFEST Sci-Fi convention. Nana Visitor is one of the film’s stars.
STARFEST is honoring Nana Visitor, as well as the 15th anniversary of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." For seven years, Nana played second in command Major Kira Nerys on that show.
"We’re honored to be a part of this festival, and to showcase Nana’s talents by screening ’Babysitter Wanted’," said BSEG president David Zappone.
"Babysitter Wanted" stars Sarah Thompson (Seventh Heaven) Matt Dallas (Kyle XY), Bruce Thomas (Legally Blonde), Kristin Dalton (The Departed), Nana Visitor (Star Trek:DSN), Monty Bane (Sleepwalkers) and Bill Moseley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Devil’s Rejects). The film was directed by BSEG’s Michael Manasseri and Original Film’s Jonas Barnes.

I`m the type of person who judges a book or movie by the cover. When I received this movie for review, it had no case and a really great drawing of a girl with a hand over her mouth on the disc. Having seen so many low-budget flops from graduate students, I was afraid this might be another one of those. Then I heard the good reviews coming in so far, and I had to check it out for myself as soon as possible. "Babysitter Wanted" is a very nice film, fresh and engaging! Everything was professional, Hollywood-grade here. No cheesy sound effects or using Jello and spaghetti for guts. And trust me, there`s guts! Hacked limbs, ball peen hammer to the face... Sometimes after watching a fantastic film you get that sudden rush of enjoyment and sheer excitement that the horror genre is head in the right way again. After watching Babysitter Wanted I had that feeling and I knew that the horror genre is still capable of pumping out fantastic films on a budget. This is one of those films that I am very proud to be able to review and let everyone know that this is a film that you have to keep your eye on. It is without a doubt one of the best films I have seen in the past ten years. So may this review serve as an open letter to all the horror fans, distributors and fellow horror critics hunt this movie down and watch it. You won't regret it. Read Full Review Now!

Another positive note is that BABYSITTER's production value was astounding; the film looked and felt like a high budget indie horror film, quite possibly theatrical worthy. The acting on most occasions was top notch, even though the dodgy attempt to trick us forced some odd and unrealistic moments. But in the end I feel that BABYSITTER is a satisfying picture, one that many of you will enjoy quite a bit. Read Full Review Now!
