So we all now sean is much better at blogs than anyone.

I was going to ask him to write this blog, but he wasn't online when i needed him.
I like his blogs because:

1) He is funny.
2) He is informative.
3) He uses bulletpoints..
4) He uses pictures.
5) He uses correct English.

He even combined the words Tubelord and Blog to make Tubelog - get it.
Its not that good a joke, I know.

Sean is coming to cheer us on for our final gig on the 18th September and if I were you I'd come and cheer him along for being there. Perhaps give him a big old pat on the back. Perhaps even say "well done you funny old bean for being so funny, old bean".

So maybe you should come on 18th September and if enough people congratulate Sean on his life achievements he might be able to persuade Lewis to let him come out of retirement for one night and play chutes one final time. Pennines are playing plus a couple of middle of the road bands i'm sure you love. There might even be a Colour memento to buy so bring your pocket money.

Check out this sweet change of font :

Buy now! Word on the street is that it will sell out like Colour did so come along now, come along now, take your ticket and be on your way, be on way.

I am very sad to say that the upcoming tour with blakfish shall be colour's last.
We are all still good friends but, to cut a long story short, the band seems to have become less fun for us over the past few months and with several members having other commitments which have greatly affected the bands productivity it seemed about time to call it a day.

Even though i was only in the band 18 months it was a huge part of my life and the other guys are like my brothers and i know i can speak for all of us when i say that we're eternally grateful to all of you that came to shows, sang along, bought some merch, let us crash on your floor, partied with us or just said a nice word or two.

Massive thanks go out to Stars Redmond for taking really good care of us, JP the most handsome man in the industry, Dave Wallace for bein a geezer,  Kev, Ivano, Tom and everyone at BSM, press council and Xtra mile, Kirk Harrington for the hard sell, J Field for being the love of our lives, Del Noble for cashing in (haha) and all the amazing bands that we played with and partied with in equal measure.

We still intend to play Truck Festival and there may be a possible farewell show which we will keep you posted about.
Keep your ear to the ground as there will inevitably be other musical projects involving any and all 4 of us, George is still remixing the shit out of everything so keep up to speed with that too.

I hope this blog finds you all well and that you can make it along to one of the shows on the tour. Will be nice to say goodbye in person.

From all of us in Colour, thank you so much for making this band amazing for us while it lasted.

See you at a rawk show soon!
Alan, George, Trood and Lewis

Hello everyone!

So, y'all might be wondering what Colour have been up to recently...or maybe not, but i'm going to tell you all anyway!

Around our busy vigilante crime fighting schedules, we've managed to fit in some practices, a few gigs here and there (which a few of you may have got along to) and ultimately we've written some new songs that we will be recording over the next month or so and releasing in some format very soon, and we're going to start properly gigging and touring from september onwards!

We've got a few dates that we're playing already up on the myspace and we'll be adding more as we get them so please keep checking to see if we'll be mincing through a town near you!

Other than the protection of justice and civil liberties and the occasional show, here's what everyone's been up to!

Trood's been getting naked in his favourite pop-punk bands music videos (he's the one with the inflatable lilo at about 1:59)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqyIMODMmbI

George has been flexing his electro muscles in the hope of finally getting permission to release remixes of his favourite Simply Red tracks (c'mon Mick!)
You can find evidence of that here:
http://www.myspace.com/gdotmyspace

Alan's been continuing with his church and community work, reaching thousands of people world wide. take a look!
Photobucket

I've been Reading comics, playing xmen vs street fighter and discussing the pros and cons of postal work with the lady at the job centre. (And many other much more interesting things that i'm unable to disclose for legal reasons.)

So, hopefully everyone's still paying attention, i'm attempting to answer all myspace messages in a relatively timely fashion now, so please dont hesitate to get in touch, whether it be to just say hello or to ask about booking a show!
I'm also gonna try to do some regular blogging.

I wish you all happy days full of rainbows, unicorns and heaps of fairy dust, keep the dream alive!

Big love.

Lewis
