Load in is 7:30PM for local shows.
Load in for National shows varies.
Bands will be given 30 minute sets. Depending on how many bands are playing, set times could be more.
Set times are determined the day of the show by the stage manager.
Bands are allowed 2 guests or crew for local shows.
All bands MUST promote themselves (flyers, posters, internet, myspaces, etc. ) at least 2 weeks prior to each show. Free admission for band members who come up to the venue to promote for a I-ROCK show. If you can't make it in person, mail any promotional materials to us and we will put them up for you. Email us your band logo and photo for our advertising.
I-ROCK advertises in Metro Times, Real Detroit, Go Magaizines, Detroit News and Free Press, WRIF 101.1 FM, myspaces, internet, flyers and posters in and around the Metro Detroit area.
Bands are paid (% scale) on how many people you bring to your show. Local shows only. (You need to bring at least 10 paid to qualify.)
Bands wanting to open for National shows must sell 20 tickets minimum up front at the advance ticket price. Time slots are determined by how many tickets are sold. (example: if one band sells 25 tickets and another sells 40, the one who sold more will play after the one who sold less.)
I-ROCK is looking for the best local bands and musicians. Local means in and around the Metro Detroit area. Out of state bands and any band more than a 60 miles from us may be subject to a small fee in order to play at the I-ROCK. (Fee will cover any advertising costs and guarantees time slot.)
Bands must contact the venue if they are running late or for any cancellations.
Shows are 18 and over (all ages shows will be listed).
Local shows are $5.00 for 21 & Over, $8.00 for 18 to 20 year olds. National shows vary. Any price listed for National shows are advance prices, day of show prices varies and are valid by the I-ROCK only.
