Happy Thanksgiving from Joy Ride! If you're in the Lakeville area this Wednesday evening and are looking to blow off some steam before being on your best behavior and dealing with people at dinner on Thursday - we'd love to have you come out and have fun with us at Babe's Music Bar! Even if you don't want to stay too late - just one set of music can always help you out! ;-)
 
And don't forget to come see us Saturday night at Thirsty's in Maple Grove. What could be better after a couple solid days of shopping, right?!?! The building still has the lighted "NARROWS" sign on it, so if you're on County Road 81, it shouldn't be too hard to find. BIG weekend ahead for Joy Ride. Friday night will be our first time performing at Throwbacks in Woodbury. We haven’t been on the east side of the cities since summertime as I recall, so we hope to see those of you that are in the area out at the show!

 

Saturday night is Fatboys 5th Anniversary bash! It’s also Laura’s birthday, and she’s having us all (and a ton of friends – some of you reading this, in fact) over at her new house for an early dinner and pre-show celebration, before we all head over to Fatboys and tear it up! Come on out to Fatboys and join in the fun!

GARAGE CHAT:

Thanks, everyone, for coming out to Jersey’s last Saturday night! Many of you readers out there came out, and we had so much fun with you there. We’ll be back at Jersey’s in January (I think), and then again in March, and we’re really looking forward to it. (Btw – didn’t I tell you how good the food was? ;-)

 

Whew! November is half gone now, and we’ve been pretty busy so far. Of course things always seem busier when weeknight gigs are thrown into the mix. And we had a couple of Wednesdays in a row. Both were great shows, but that Civic Center gig was certainly the highlight of the two for us. And NEXT week, we have yet another Wednesday evening gig. That one is the night before Thanksgiving, and we’ll be at Babe’s in Lakeville. It’s been a while since we’ve been there, but we’re happy to be bringing the Joy Ride show back to Babe’s. Actually, it’s a new show – so I guess we’re excited to be bring the NEW [and hopefully] IMPROVED version of our show to Babe’s for the pre-Thanksgiving bash! We hope you can make it.
