December 8, 2007 - Saturday

Wow....we have been busy, busy, busy. Haven't even had much time to write any updates. We got stuck in a blizzard on the way to our family and were delayed a few days. Our good friend and mentor, Porfessor Sugar Plum mananged to reach our family and present them with a lovely DVD set of Chrismtas Classics. Something for them to enjoy while waiting for us.

We finally arrived and have been tucked in nicely ever since. Our family got us some wonderful sleeping bags and it is warm and tasty here. Almost too warm and toasty...we just aren't use to the warmth!!!  As you know the North Pole is COLD.

Oh just wanted to let yopu know, our friend, Gingerbug has created a wonderful new site called Magical Holiday Home and she has included a special page just for Magic Elf information.

Here's Magical Holiday Home: http://magicalholidayhome.com/

And here's the direct link to the elf page: http://magicalholidayhome.com/elves/

There are also forums for people who like to talk about Christmas: http://magicalholidayhome.com/forum/

So if you like stuff like that hop on over and take a look.

Busy Hugs and Quick Kisses:  Bernard, Jingle, and Bell

September 4, 2007 - Tuesday

According to Elf Lore...September, October, November, and December are called the "Season of Wishes". It's easy to see why...the days leading up to Christmas are some of the best days of the year. Everyone is wishing for "something". Santa will do his best to fulfill SOME of your wishes...no one...not even Magic Elves can have everything they wish for....Here are some of our wishes....

1. Safe travel for everyone

2. Merry Christmas called out in a jolly voice by one and all.

3. Smiles on the faces of children

4. Remembering the "true" meaning of Christmas. Follow the star.

5. Being surrounded by people we care about (and care about us)

6. Laughter

Happiness Hugs and Wish-filled Kisses: Bernard, Jingle, and Bell

September 3, 2007 - Monday

Just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce you to a few of our friends. But first let me introduce myself. I'm Bell.

Jingle is my brother and Bernard is my cousin. We took our first trip to Big People Land during the holiday season of 2006.  We were a bit timid at first but boy..did we ever have  FUN.

The first friend I would like to tell you about is Mistletoe. She's a Magic Elf too. She is a bit of a waif with adorable blonde hair. (I do believe Jingle has a crush on her). We first met Mistletoe when Santa selected us to be Magic Elves and we were all a little uncertain about our new roles.

We have met quite a few Christmas Fairies here at the North Pole but we have some favorites. Snowflake is a teeny tiny fairy with the brightest twinkle in all the world. She is a little impish (like us). Perhaps thats why she is quickly becoming a favorite of ours. Star is Snowflakes's best friend although they used to snip and snap at each other. That all goes back to a cold winter night in the North Woods and the ill will carried by the wind. However thats a whole nother story and all is well between the two now. We also are getting to know Merry, Holly, and Twinkle.

Santa's calling so I must run for now.

Holiday Hugs and Fairy Dust Kisses.....Bell

September 1, 2007 - Saturday

Hi Everyone:

The snow is still falling here at the North Pole and I am getting bored. Can't wait to get out and about. Three more months and I will be there is the USA with my family. I'm bringing a special treat....can't wait to share it with you. Bell and Bernard are already in bed but I am restless. Mistletoe and I played checkers with a couple of Christmas Fairies. We won...of course! According to Elf Lore..the next four months are called the Season of Wishes. So you better watch out and make sure your name appears on the good list.  Take Care...I'm off to snuggle up and wish for visions of sugarplums in my dreams.

Jingle Bell Hugs and Kisses With Wishes.......Jingle

August 29, 2007 - Wednesday

Just a quick update. The snow is falling and falling and falling here at the North Pole. We are sort of stranded because the heavy snow fall interfers with our magic and makes it difficult to pop in and out of places. Just about an hour ago...Bell tried to pop over to the Elves Welcome Center to play some checkers with a few Christmas Fairies and she ended up in a big snow drift instead. Jingle thought it was extremely funny until she let loose on him with a ton of snowballs. Hope all is well family and friends and you are as excited about the coming holiday season as we are!!

Snow Flurry Hugs and Kisses From the North Pole....Bernard

August 16, 2007 - Thursday

Current mood:  excited

Can't believe that August is almost over and soon we will be on our way to your house. We hear that you are havng extremely HOT weather and we hope it cools down a bit before we arrive. Here at the North Pole it is nice and frosty...lots of snow....just the way we like it. Santa has been very busy making preparations for the best Christmas ever. We have been working hard to get packed and ready for our annual visit to Big People Land. Ummmm...we were wondering if you still have all those cats. We are a little nervous because they seem to pounce when we least expect it. Can't wait to see all of you and we are bringing a special surprise.
